Je savais d’avance que ce serait pas trop ma came mais je l’ai lu pour le taf donc comme prévu : ça n’a pas été mon truc. Si la série fait pas 45 tomes je lirais peut-être la suite pcq les deux personnages principaux m’intriguent un minimum mais ce sera pas ma priorité 🤷🏻‍♀️

Action, Blut, Gemetzel - eigentlich genau die Mischung, die mir besonders viel Spaß macht. Doch ein wenig zwiegespalten bin ich auch. Es fühlt sich noch etwas fremd an, da man direkt ins Geschehen geworfen wird und die Charaktere noch nicht viel Farbe bekommen haben. Es passiert plottechnisch schon einiges, aber es bleiben auch noch viele Fragen offen. Iarumas ist mir noch ein ganz besonderes Rätsel - wobei der Schluss dann in der Hinsicht doch Lust auf mehr macht. Das verspricht noch recht spannend zu werden. Was Garbage betrifft: hier ist sehr viel offen. Sie spricht nicht, verhält sich wie ein Hund und stürmt immer sofort drauf los. Da könnte auch noch viel dahinterstecken.
Das Artwork ist sehr schön und detailliert - auch die Monster wurden toll designt. Die Charaktere sind sehr verschieden und wirken auch mysteriös.
Insgesamt recht spannend - erhoffe mir im nächsten Band auf jeden Fall noch mehr!

What do you get when you mix an amnesiac man with a girl who doesn’t talk? A very unique and interesting story, which is what Blade & Bastard delivers! Survivors come together to bring in the magic of what it means to work together.

The world building is very interesting. It’s a specific trope, so if you’re into similar series, you’ll likely enjoy this title! It has an underlying message of survivors coming together to help each other that will likely resonate with readers.

Who is this manga for
This one is for fans of adventure and characters coming together to help each other under unforseen circumstances. Perhaps fans of Shield Hero will enjoy this, as it’s a tiny bit similar.

2.5 rounded up because it's still better than Goblin Slayer's transition from light novel to manga. I'd still advise the novel over the manga, though, strictly based on the fact that the former has much more lore and is thus more interesting.

Some of the lore might appeal to Delicious in Dungeon fans, but it has a darker feel overall, and a lot more blood. Also, was this kid raised by wargs?
