INTERESTING FACTS:
§ In 1859, Cezanne attended Law School in Aix at his father’s wishes. He also received drawing lessons at the same time. He left Law school for Paris in 1861. § In Paris, Cezanne studied and began a collaborative relationship with Camille Pissarro. § Cezanne unsuccessfully entered The Salon from 1864-1869. He had one successful submission in 1882 titled 'Portrait of Louis-Auguste Cezanne, Father of the Artist.' § In 1874/77, Cezanne exhibited with the Impressionists. § Cezanne’s work inspired Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and Juan Gris, leading the way to revolutionary ideas in modern art.

Excellent resource for artists and lovers of Cézanne or still life paintings.
This book is amazing value (I got the Kindle version) and while there might be the odd typo in the text (not unusual these days), it's well worth reading. Most of all, the pictures are wonderful, for the most part, and it's great to see them all in one book. A super useful book for anyone who loves looking at or creating art.
