I honestly didn't like the heroine at first but she grew on me. The hero really loved her and i.never doubted that at all. But he,was hurt that she didn't seem to want his baby. It was kind of like the shoe on the other foot here. She lost the baby and because she wasn't ready but she didn't want to lose it. And she felt he blamed her because she didn't want it. This wasn't a remarkable book but it is about two hurt people trying to make it in the face of tragedy. He worked harder to make, sure they stayed together I felt. Because she, always ran away. I loved the ending and i.loved how much.he loved her.
"Spaniard's Waitress Wife" is the story of Mia and Santos.
Wow! A HQN romance where characters actually want to give their marriage a chance instead of the usual blackmail and sex song and dance? The couple becomes estranged due to a tragedy, and what we see is a vulnerable hero genuinely pursuing the heroine because he wants their marriage to work, and opening himself up while admitting to his faults. The heroine is equally amiable to compromise and we get a mature romance between quite sweet characters.
Having married after only knowing each other for two weeks, both Santos and Mia were now having doubts. When Mia left it took Santos a while realise that what he felt for Mia was more than just lust. When they got together again they realised that to make sure their marriage worked they would need to put in the hard work to real the benefits of their relationship. Luckily all was well in the end and they had their happily ever after.
Oh wow loved the angst, hero’s crazy jealousy, the evil mother in law…I loved everything about this book! For once the heroine had legitimate reasons for not wanting a baby but I’m glad that in the end they healed from their pasts and got their happy ending! Hero fought hard for this heroine! 5 brilliant stars! 🌟
for those who care hero was not a playboy...also both celibate while apart!
