Wow, just wow, this book held me and didn't let go until the very end, the story had so much depth to it you felt you were watching it all happening in front of you, and the characters were that hot you could feel the intensity between them. Easton is a Professor he wants to write his story, and advertisers for an assistant and Sara applied for the job. Easton was happy that she applied for the job, there was an attraction between them that he was not letting her leave.
Two dark souls can have the most vibrant red hearts of love.❤️.

Conquered (Book 3 of Cruel Kings) by Piper Stone is a mafia romance story. Finally we Easton one of the 3 brothers (Creed and Styx were in the first two books). He is an author and professor who has decided to take time off for his book. During that time he has Sara a student help him. Of course you know where this leads. This is all complicated by his family and his past.
I have really enjoyed this series and this book. The plot is interesting and well thought out. I love the love story and interaction between Sara and Easton.
Definitely enjoyed this one and recommend it!

Sara and Easton both have secrets, both have pasts … pasts that left deep, painfully deep, future altering scars, scars yet to heal … and no, I won’t be delving into the details of those scars here. That would ruin the awe worthy momentum, the perfect flow, the perfect balance of heat, mystery, suspense, and the many “omg … I can’t breathe … is THIS going to be OK”… moments that had me itching to up the ever lovin’ speed! I resisted - It took all I had, and I confess, I did go back and re-play SEVERAL parts, they were just too good not too! When you listen, I’m confident you’ll understand, and you just might do the same! Another thing I really enjoyed was the interaction between Easton and his brothers! Piper Stone’s flair for character development is unmatched and these three had me alternately appalled and laughing like a loon! They are completely “real world believable” in their both interactions and their dialogue, as are all the characters in this story! I found the plot itself fascinating and nicely loaded with surprises that were clearly explained, leaving no unanswered questions once all was revealed! As for the reveal … I’m grinning from ear to ear at how THIS one wrapped … lips zipped but holy WOW … Dear Author you ARE a genius! I loved it! Another thing I absolutely loved was the narration! Brought to life by an absolute perfectionist master, this performance is STUNNING! Not one doubt, at any time, as to WHO was speaking, WHAT they were feeling, or WHERE the story was going! Perfectly timed, perfectly paced, perfectly modulated… absolute PERFECTION! This one has it ALL! Five stars BRILLIANT across the board perfection!

This is a simply wonderful read, terrific characters and wonderful plot that you’ll love reading
This is a savage and brutal father and three brothers that have been put through hell by their father that taught them nothing more than how to hunt their fathers’ enemies and to try and avoid his brutal beatings and treatment that made life a living hell.
The three brothers are back under attack once again and it seems that Easton who is currently a lecturer at the university and also is a well-known and successfully published writer and he is certain that he will not be returning to the university at the beginning of the next term he is going to stick to writing murder mysteries.
Over the half term holidays he has decided that Sara one of his students can come and work for him as his correlator and checking of historical information and other facts that have been placed inside the book currently being written. Easton is totally off footed by the talented beauty that is working at his side as his co-writer and I am sure that you will thoroughly enjoy evert moment of this wonderful read.
As the characters within the book are able to show that the when their men folks are all under a terrible and unknown threat it was essential that they dis cover who this nemesis is and it is apparent that the discover who their threat is before their loved ones are harmed.
This is a captivating and at time a very dark read, the interaction between the three brothers has strengthened since Creed and Styx met their wives and now that Easton has Sara in his life and her safety is under threat it is essential that he keeps her safe and sound.
I guarantee that you will not be able to put this book down until you reach the end and discover the final outcome.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Part of the Cruel Kings series each can be read as a standalone hang on and you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way! Easton sexy as all get out Saint brother as we learned all the Saint brothers have darkness in them works as a professor during the day, during the night well he inflict pain on those who have done wrong as an outlet for his beast, and he wrote his own story now a well-known successfully published writer isn’t returning to college because he wants to further explore writing mysteries. Sara sweet with a touch of spice thinking her professor was the sexiest man she saw an ad for a ghost writer so excited for a chance not realizing until she showed up who she would be working with her sexy professor correlating, checking historical information as well as all other facts in the book but the best part is working side by side to her sexy Professor as his co-writer. The magnetic pull between them is something off the charts. The more they try to ignore the pull the stronger the pull becomes between the two of them making it nearly impossible not to give in. The thing about our two they both come from messed up families that helped create the darkness within them both but where will it lead them, will they be honest about their feelings with each other, and will it all lead them to a path of togetherness…. happiness?

Conquered is a dark Mafia Romance novel. This novel is following the journey of Easton and Sara. Sara is a bright light in Easton’s life, he was a dark, intense man who sooner or later would probably be so dark and revenge full that even his two brothers couldn’t save him. Sara may have been taken for the wrong person when they first meet, but she doesn’t give up on the job that Easton actually offers Sara. Easton had so many dark secrets but he was afraid that Sara would run if she found out that he took a chance and he told her and she didn’t run but stood by his side and she had one secret to tell but he found out before she did but he didn’t hold it against her. In fact, it brought them even closer together in not only faith, but trust and love. Easton and Sara are well thought out and multidimensional characters making this novel a good read. I would highly suggest this book to anyone who is looking to read a well-written, thought out/developed Dark Mafia Romance novel. I thought author Piper Stone did an outstanding job of telling Easton and Sara’s story. I loved how she brought these characters to life through her writing. I can hardly wait to see what will be next for author Piper Stone.

Easton Saint, like his brother’s, has a dark side to him. A professor by day but harbors a dark spirit. He likes inflicting pain on those that have done wrong. That is his outlet to let the beast out. He also wants to write his story. Sara thought Professor Saint was sexy. When she saw an ad for a ghost writer, she is eager for the chance. But things are murky in this one and if you thought the other two were dark, you are in for a surprise.

I have to say that this is really a dark one. You are almost seeing out of the eyes of a killer. I know Easton and his brothers were treated cruelly by their father. The man deserved what he got. Each one suffered by his hand. Easton is the darkest of them all. He seems calm but he has a storm always brewing in him. Sara’s life was no better. I have to say that was a bit shocking to learn about her past. I certainly understand her parents reasons but boy the level these two both went through. Guess stories do imitate life. You will understand when you read it. I was surprised towards the end. I thought it was over too. Finally our youngest has found his muse and his heart.

Easton Saint is a professor and Sara Adams is his student. When he advertises for an intern to help him write his book she applies. The 'interview' she has with him is, shall we say, unusual, and not at all what she expected.
A story of initial mistaken identity which turns into much more. He's domineering but she's not the 'little fawn' he refers to her as, and gives as good as she gets. This sets the scene for the rest of the book.

We learn more about the Saint brothers from Easton's perspective and find that he has the same issues as his brothers with regard to their father. Like his brothers, Easton doesn't like bullies and rights wrongs in his own way.
Easton finds himself growing closer and closer to Sara and feels emotions that he thought were long gone. She, in turn, finds herself drawn to his dark side. Sara has her own skeletons, one in particular that she really wants to keep hidden.

There is an underlying plotline that revolves around them all being hunted by an unknown person.


We catch up with Styx and Creed and a lot of loose ends get tied up in this book.

Conquered is Book 3 of The Cruel Kings. This book is so captivating and an intriguing story. Easton Saint is the youngest of three brothers. He is a Professor at the university, author and CFO of The Saint Corporation. Easton is possibly the darkest of the three brothers in the way they were treated by their father. Sara Adams is a bright young woman in Professor Saint's class. She will be graduating and is going to be an assistant to Easton during the summer months to help with his book. When Sara shows up late for her internship interview with her English professor, he mistakes her for the paid escort he ordered. Sara thinks it's a strange interview, but soon is so caught up in the stunning man's commands that she lets him have his way. It's only after the fact that she lets him know his error. She does, however, get the internship to help with his novel.

I really liked this dark, twisted tale of the third Saint brother. Damaged by his abusive father and feeling guilty because of his mother's death, Easton feels he has too much darkness in him to deserve love and a family. Sara grew up with loving parents, but they were all living under the shadow of a serial killer uncle. They feel a kinship from the start that grows as they work together on the novel. As threats begin to plague Easton and his family, their bond only strengthens.

The story has action, danger, suspense, mystery, betrayal, and plot twists. There is also love, loyalty, and plenty of steam.

'Conquered' is the third book in Piper Stone's "Cruel Kings" series. If you've been following the series as each book was released then you know the memories each of the older brothers carry. It's now Easton's turn to share his story. He's the youngest of the three. The one the other two brothers thought was the least affected by what they had lived through. How wrong they were! He's a professor at the University. Rumors run rampant on campus about him and his family but that doesn't stop Sara from applying to an ad Easton had placed wanting a full-time assistant to help him with the book he's writing. The day of the interview arrives, it's storming and Sara's car decides not to start. Completely drenched and an hour late by the time she arrives at his estate, Easton mistakes her for someone else. This is a dark and twisted storyline that pulled me in from the beginning. Both the MMC and MFC have more in common than either one thought was possible. The past comes out to be acknowledged and dealt with. This one was thrilling from start to finish.

Wonderfully Mesmerizing!!
Easton Saints story is positively STUNNING and FASCINATING!! I could not put his book down. Book three of the Cruel Kings series is definite MUST read.
Every moment of this story is so INTERESTING and ENTICING. This teacher/student forbidden dark mafia romance will captivate you from beginning to end.

Easton and Sara’s chemistry is off the charts. Their attraction to one another is so palpable and passionate.

I found each of these characters to be so engaging and alluring.
Easton’s controlling, possessive and strong demeanour is beckoning. We can’t help but fall this dangerous, dirty talking and tempting man.
As for Sara, I found her to be endearing, tenacious and very witty.
Together these two are enthralling.

So if you want to lose yourself in a seductive, suspenseful, tantalizing and mesmerizing romance you will be delighted with Conquered.
It’s a very intense and beautiful story!!!

This is of Piper’s darkest and steamiest stories yet!
I fell in love with Sara who works hard for what she wants, yet hides in the background while her girlfriends all become aware of of Easton, their hot professor! There is a sense of foreboding at Sara’s late arrival to Easton’s home to interview for his assistant position to help with research for his book. To say this causes some hot and sticky confusion would not be an understatement. Beside Easton being a professor, he has a lead position at his family’s company and a side job avenging the abused or downtrodden. The plot twists for the three Saint brothers as someone is trying to avenge their past under their father’s control. To say that Sara with her family’s ugly past meshes with Easton’s controlling way has you turning the pages to see how it will all end and whodunit! Don’t expect to start this book before bedtime, as you will be up all night reading!

Sara thought being to her interview for her dream job couldn't get worse until her sexy professor mistakes her for a call girl. Easton mistakenly scheduled two "interviews" for the same day and finds the girl of his dreams. As the youngest son in the Saint family, his brothers never realized how deep their mother's death affected him. For Easton, the nightmares have never gone away as his mother's death continues to haunt his sleep. These two characters coming together bring the light and darkness within each other into a wonderful and surprising HEA. There are twists and turns and surprising reveals around every bend. Don't let this story (as well as the others in this series) slip through your TBR list.

A Delicious Dominating Steamy Read!

Easton was depraved, his soul dark with lots of secrets. He never thought he’d find someone like him but in Sara he found the same dark delicious desires as himself and after a slight misunderstanding, he’d decided to keep her!

Full of steamy sizzling moments, the intense passion they have for each other is felt on every page and when someone threatens the family, Easton and his brothers will do anything to get to the bottom of the threat to ensure nothing and no-one can touch who they love.

With some witty moment to complete the storyline, this is one read not to be missed!.

Oh so good!

I have always love Piper's books,and this one wasn't a disappointment either.Sara was a bright light in Easton's life,he was a dark,intense man who sooner or later would probably be so dark and revenge full that even his two brothers couldn't save him.Sara may have been taken for the wrong girl when they first met but she didn't give up on the job that Easton was actually offering! This is the 3rd book in the Cruel Kings series, but it can be read as a standalone. Sara shows up to her interview for an internship with Easton, who is her English Professor. He believes that she is the escort he was expecting. Sparks fly and Easton doesn’t learn who she is until after they share a steamy evening together. Both have baggage from their past, but their relationship grows stronger as they work on his book. Will they find happiness even though Easton doesn’t believe he deserves it? Fast paced read with a lot of drama, suspense, twists, and turns, great chemistry and sizzling chemistry. I liked it.

This is the third in the Cruel Kings series and certainly doesn't disappoint. When Easton hires a new intern to help him write his book, he finds he is unable to stay away from her. Sara wants the position of intern to Easton Saint and is attracted to his dominating ways. As they get closer Easton discovers the past coming back to haunt him and his brothers in a deadly way which may cost him his chance of happiness. I love Piper Stone's books with their great characterisation, jam-packed with drama and a lot of heat and steam. Worth far more than 5 stars.

I absolutely loved this book!! It was a little bit different him being a professor/author but that’s what made it so good. They are both writers but he’s a professor and she was his student. They both have childhood traumas that they use their writing as a therapy so to speak. The relationship with the brothers is unbreakable!!! We never thought Easton would fall in love but Sara stole his heart. I give this book 5 stars I have to say this series is in my top 10………. Piper always has a good mystery to solve as well and that’s what I love about this author so much the amount of times I thought I knew and BAM not what I thought at all….. Happy Reading

My favorite out of the trilogy. From mistaken identity (where’s my fan) to the dark and twisted books I loved it all. They have the most organic story but it’s dark and thrilling and I love they both come from a twisted back ground. I would have give this storyline five stars but the scene where she loses her back door v was just eye rolling. No prep, no lube and never had any thing back there and she loved every minute of it. I am not buying it. I could find small things like repeating descriptions in all books or that I don’t care for the narrator but I let alot do it go because I binge read a lot but that scene truly just bugged me lol. Over all though loved it.

Sara is a budding writer that loves a good horror. She is thrilled to be an assistant to Easton as he pens his first novel, soon her life begins to imitate the very stories she loves. Easton cannot believe it when Sara applies to be his assistant. He knows she is a brilliant writer bur his fascination goes beyond her writing abilities. Their attraction burns hot. The challenges they face threatens to consume them.

Piper Stone is a no-brainer read for me. She always delivers well-developed characters, fast-paced storylines, hotter-than-hot sizzle, steam, and more. Easton & Sarah's story is no exception. When Easton decides to write his book, he hires Sarah as his assistant, coauthor, and more. Every book in this series has gotten a 5-star review from me and I don't think that has ever happened. Is there a hidden Saint Brother somewhere?? I want more...please.

Amazing sizzling narration from Skyler Morgan

Easton is the youngest of the Saint brothers. Easton is a professor and tries to stay away from the family business . Sara is one of his writing students. Who applies for to be his writing assistant. At the interview, Boy does it go wrong with him thinking she is paid for sex. When this mistake is sorted Easton Sara becomes a collaborator on his book. The two become close and when some sets out to hurt Sara, Easton does his best to find out who it is and keep her safe.
This book is full of spice and steam and action packed.

WOW, this story grabbed my attention at the very beginning with more surprises that I could have imagined. The action is fast paced, sometimes violent and deadly. Sara seems to be the only one to calm the beast in Easton but when she is threatened the beast comes alive. It’s a great story but has several triggers that should be considered before reading. I would definitely recommend it.

Conquered is book 3 in the Cruel Kings series. Easton and Sara find that they're kindred spirits in this one. Easton also finds that Sara soothes him in a way nothing nor anyone has ever been able to, UNTIL, danger comes and they all find out just how dangerous he can be. Conquered is a great, fast paced, intense story that grips you immediately and doesn't let go. From start to finish their journey is completely consuming, over the top HOT and entertaining. Another great read from this author!

I love Sara and Easton's story. It starts out as a student/ teacher relationship but ends up being so much more. This story has drama and suspense. It also has humor which lightens up the darkness. Piper has a way of making her characters so likable it keeps you coming back for more. Can’t wait for her next one.

I don't know how Piper does it... I thought each book that she has written in this series was better than the last, but this one was really fantastic. It is a well written emotional roller coaster romance that is dark, intense, and intriguing, with angst, drama, vengeance, romance, tension, and love, which leads to a very entertaining book. This is the third book in an amazing series, and I hope this book becomes a best seller for this author.

Light and dark...

You have to love Piper’s dark romances! I found the darker they get the hotter the heat. Easton and Sarah were made for each other. One dark with secrets the other light with sass. Mistaken identity pulls Sarah into the crosshairs of the Saint family enemies. Can she survive in his brutal world? This book has lots of BDSM expects so please read the trigger warning. I loved this story!
