Spellbound Shadow Prince is a standalone royal romance with a happily ever after. No Cheating. -Enemies to Lovers -Fake Dating -Fated Mates -Forbidden Romance This is the third book in the 3+ book series
Book 3 was an excellent light easy read with a humorous tone woven in with the spice. I frankly quite enjoyed Graydon's Wolf with his snarky sass. The drunk bratty prince meets his life changing fated mate, a witch. Hecate, her twin sister, reached new heights of evilness. Love conquers all. Thoroughly enjoyed the book I received an advanced review copy and leave this review voluntary Thank you
An entertaining story! Thanks to masterful writing, anyone reading this book will be so involved with the slow building of the romance between Grayden Grey, A wolf prince and a witch/E.R. doctor Helia Payne.

Grayden is the 2nd born prince and the sees himself as the black sheep of the family. He is still the party boy with no direction in his life that is until he meets up with Helia. Helia is a doctor at the local hospital and is dragged out by her friends after work for a few quick drinks. Liam another doctor comes out with the girls and Helia is trying politely to give him the brush off as she is not interested. Wyatt, Grayden and girls end up at the human pub as the girls want to see what one is like but Grayden is a bit worse for wear due to taking a suppressor concoction made up by a fellow lordling and Helia steps in to take a look at him. He ends up back at her place where she can keep an eye on him.
Grayden goes back to the hospital to thank Helia who he can't get out of his mind and is surprised by this as he doesn't like humans. But helps Helia out by pretending to be her fake boyfriend to give Liam a nice brush off. Helia is normally guarded around humans with being a witch but she is attracted to Grayden also. He further gets dragged into attending a charity ball with Helia in San Francisco. While there they realise what they are and the relationship shouldn't have happened. There is a war coming between the 2 and they will have to chose a side.
Can Grayden stay away from Helia with all that is brewing between the witches and the wolves? Can Helia forget about Grayden? Will Grayden put Helia safety above his family's? Will Helia's twin sister put power before family?
Another great book in the series following Grayden who is pretty much aimless in life. But through his love for Helia he finds direction and purpose and actually does more for the family than ever expected. Helia who always thought she was the lesser twin realises that her compassion and loyalty to duty becomes her bedrock and brings acceptance to who she is and what she stands for. Together they are stronger and bring families together instead of tearing them apart.

Grayden is a shifter wolf and a prince who enjoys partying and drinking. He meets Helia, an ER doctor and witch at a bar where he is very drunk. She is concerned about his physical condition and has his friend bring him to her apartment near the hospital to be watched because he refuses to go to the ER. Her act of kindness saves his life from an illicit drug he took to suppress his wolf.
As they start to get closer, they discover the secret each one is keeping about who they really are. Grayden's royal family wants to destroy all witches and Helia's family, especially her twin sister Hecate, and coven want to kiss all wolves. This makes Grayson and Helia's relationship become more challenging as their feelings for one another deeper, especially as a war is brewing between the wolves and the witches.
Hekate kidnaps Helia and is determined to punish and torture her for leaving the coven and being with a wolf. When Grayden discovers her missing, he rounds up his fellow shifters and convinces them to find her, his fated mate.
What I found so interesting about this story is its relevance to human society. The witches and wolves have hated one another for centuries without really understanding why, just that the hatred continued. Brinks did an outstanding job showing how different factions can get past their historical hatred and learn to work together. Of course, as in her other books, the main characters found their well-earned happily ever after. It's a wonderful story that's hard to put down.

A fabulously action packed wolf shifter romance, I couldn’t put this down once I'd started it & loved the chemistry between the main characters. There is action, family drama, magic, humor, steamy romance, some great twists and HEA. This can be read as a stand-alone, though it is the third in the series and time-wise there is an overlap with the second "Shadow King's Redemption".
Grayden is the 2nd born prince of the Grey family, and like his brother Garren, loves to party. But after trying something new and drinking too much, his wolf is subdued and can't help him to recover. He meets Helia in the bar and as she's a doctor she offers to help him, taking him back to hers as he wants to avoid the hospital.
Helia is a witch, and twin sister to the coven leader. When Grayden goes to visit her at the hospital to thank her (thinking she's a human) he ends up helping her, by pretending to be her boyfriend, to get away from Liam, another doctor. As a witch she's normally careful around humans but she finds herself attracted to Grayden (thinking he's human) and invites him to a charity ball, which he's happy to do as he's also growing fond of her.
But how will they both react when the realise they are enemies and a war between wolves and witches is close to breaking out.

Buckle up, because Ruby Brinks is back with "Spellbound Shadow Prince," the third installment in her "Fated Mates of the Royal Wolf Court" series. If you’re a fan of her signature style and tropes, this book will hit all the right notes: it’s an enemy-to-lovers light paranormal romance (PNR) that stars Prince Grayden Grey, a royal wolf shifter, and Helia Payne, a witch doctor. These two are sworn enemies thanks to an ancient feud that, hilariously, no one can even remember the origin of.
The story moves at a breakneck pace, delivering plenty of laughs along the way. You'll find yourself tangled in intrigues, family disputes, and interspecies hatred, all while rooting for these two to change the course of their tumultuous history. The interactions between Grayden and Helia are electric, filled with witty banter and sizzling tension that only Ruby Brinks can pull off so effortlessly.
As expected, the well-deserved happily-ever-after (HEA) doesn’t come easy. There's plenty of pain, suffering, and high-octane action to keep you on the edge of your seat. But when the dust finally settles, the payoff is as satisfying as a perfectly brewed potion.
All in all, "Spellbound Shadow Prince" is a nice and easy read that will leave you smiling and eagerly awaiting the next adventure. If you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced romance with a touch of magic and a lot of heart, this one’s for you.
Grayden is a prince and a werewolf. He is with friends and they head to a human bwrar. Helia is an ER doctor and a witch. She lets her two doctor friends talk her into going to a bar. The bar is where Grayden meets Helia. She intervenes to keep him and his friend from getting into a fight with the police. Then he acts a if he's on drugs and being a doctor she wants him to go to the hospital. She winds up taking him home with her. Then he visits at the hospital where she introduces him as her boyfriend. Now he's going to the gala fundraising for the hospital with her. They get to San Francisco and they have a beautiful time. The morning she realizes what he is and when she confronts him he senses what she is. Now what do they do? To make matters worse wolves killed her parents and her sister is enemy number 1 to the wolves. Can it get any more Romeo and Juliet???? They decide to take a break and see what happens between their families. War is declared on both sides. Now it's up to Helia and Grayden to try to keep witches, wolves and humans from dying. Will they be successful? This is a book that will have the reader sitting on the edge of the chair with their hearts in their throat!!!.

3.5 Stars This story overlaps with the previous book, timeline wise. Helia meets Grayden when he is drunk, as he usually is, and brings him home to care for him. The two soon grow close and build an intimate relationship. Not long after they find out the truth about each other, the conflict between Helia and her evil twin escalates. Helia is a kind witch who chooses to work among the humans, as a doctor. She is more human than witch. Grayden is a partyer who, despite his disdain for them, is more human than wolf. The two are really meant for each other in this regard. The story was okay. Where I had some issues was the conflict in when events occurred based on the previous book. Grayden did not seem to grow much as a prince, brother, warrior or male. Even his wolf chided for partying and not knowing what was going on in his kingdom. He was self centered and still was towards the end. His motivation to act was based on Helia and not the good of his people. Helia claimed to be a stronger witch than what her coven thought her to be, but she wasn't. They did get their HEA and did some good for both their people.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. I think I like this one the most out of the series so far. This book is closer to a regular enemies-to-lovers romance just with a paranormal aspect. Prince Grayden Gray was the spare. He did not have to worry about the throne and focused on just staying out of the way. He just wanted to have fun. Everything was going well until he met her. Dr. Helia Payne was a witch with a twin sister that was involved in all things supernatural. Helia's twin, Hekate, was ready for Helia to take her place in the coven by her side. Helia has always leaned towards healing, hence her working at a human hospital which was unusual for most witches.
Helia needed to get an admirer off of her back. Grayden owed her so when she pretended to be his girlfriend, he went along with it. Something was drawing this couple together. Neither suspected that the other was a supernatural. When Grayden puts Helia's safety over his family, something between them changed. Will the long-standing hatred between the groups keep these two away from each other? There is a lot more going on. I liked that readers will get a glimpse of previous clashes from a different point of view.
Prince Grayden and friend Wyatt are wolf shifters out for a fun night drinking, they go to a human bar. Grayden is very drunk, hits his head. ER doctor Helia thinks he should go to hospital but he refuses. Helia gets Wyatt to bring Grayden to her apartment, she will watch him overnight. Grayden finds Helia a fascinating human, he and his wolf are confused. Helia can’t stop thinking about Grayden, so big, strong, handsome and delicious. She a witch and he’s human but she wants him. Grayden and Helia pretend to be together, have an amazing delicious night together. Grayden knows he wants her maybe they could have a chance. Must talk, both shocked to discover neither is human, witches and wolves hate each other, often fighting. Grayden and Helia are determined to stop the violence, find a way for their people to live in peace and harmony.Grayden and Helia will face extreme danger, betrayal, torture, violence and last minute rescue before they can find their peace and happy ever after. Beautifully written, wonderful, spellbinding story and heartwarming ending. Great reading 🤩❤️🔥.

Despite her exhaustion as a doctor who has worked back to back shifts, Helia finds herself being dragged to a bar where she ends up helping Grayden, drunk and high. When Grayden wakes up he finds himself in a strange apartment and realises that Helia took him back to her place to make sure he was okay. He leaves, but finds that he can't get her out of his mind and decides to do something about it. Finding himself her fake boyfriend seems to be a good idea, but they are both carrying secrets, secrets that have the potential to destroy them and those around them. When they are discovered, they will both have to make difficult decisions that will change the course of the war that has engulfed them and could cost them their lives. Full of action and drama, the twists and turns will keep you turning the pages and unable to put it down. Be prepared for a late night. I have really enjoyed this series and highly recommend it. Worth far more than five stars.

The last of the trilogy and my favourite of the series. This book centres around Grayden the 2nd heir to the Grey throne. We get a few snippets of the story at the end of the 2nd book. Another playboy that drinks his way through life and appears to have no ambition. Then he meets Helia an ER doctor, love blossoms and then they find out what/who the other is… can their love survive the war between the witches and wolves.
Fast paced and action packed I enjoyed this story the most out of the 3. The character development of Grayden is well done. I liked that characters from the previous books were woven into the story with updates on their lives.
I would’ve liked another book about the last son Grahame or even a novella.
I received an ARC of this book for free and am leaning this review voluntarily.
Grazen was a Prince, a playboy with an attitude to back it up but the night he met Helia was the night his life changed forever.
Forbidden to be together they could not resist each other, they couldn’t tell their families as war was about to break out but along the way they couldn’t live without each other.
Family loyalties are about to be tested, betrayal is the enemy and when Helia is taken, Grazen would do anything to save her including losing his life.
This is one steamy hot read with some surprises along the way but with a satisfying HEA that will make you want to cheer.

This is another fab book in the series centered around Grayden who is currently just drifting through life until he meets Helia. They really should not be together as war is brewing between the wolves and witches. However Grayden and Helia want to fight for the opportunity to be together. They battle all the obstacles that stand between their chance for a HEA. Ultimately Grayden finds his direction and purpose with Helia and actually does more for the family than ever expected. Together they are stronger and ultimately their choices allow them to achieve their HEA.

A great fated mates, enemy to lovers, forbidden romance that will keep your attention through the chapters of this book. Ruby Brinks is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. A war is brewing between the witches and the wolves, which puts these two fated mates, Helia, a witch and ER Doctor and Grayden, a shifter Wolf Prince, in a difficult position. Will they decide to follow their hearts or their respective clans? You'll be on the edge of your seat until you finish the book and find out! Lots of emotions! Highly recommend!.

Fantastic read. Werewolves and witches coming together in peace after decades of war. Greyden and Helia's story takes you on a twisted journey ending with love and clans of witches and werewolves being friendly and free of fear. It's quite a journey and I enjoyed every word and turn of the page. This story is well written. Ruby is a wonderful author I really enjoyed her story I look forward to reading more of her books. I highly recommend this book. Happy reading everyone
A war, centuries in the making has been brewing between wolves and witches. When Helia and Grayden meet, they are fated but are forced to choose sides. I loved how she took care of him the first time they met and how strongly they want everything to workout. This story was action packed and enjoyable to read. Another great story by Ruby Brinks.

Grayden Grey, one of the Grey party boys, meets Helia in a most unlikely situation. Neither knows what the other one is. Will they still want each other once they figure out thier families are mortal enemies? Will they be able to heal the wounds of a war that has been going on for years and find a way to be together?
Come on an incredible journey with amazing characters and wonderful world building.

A nice fantasy read of wolves and witches. There's always this conflict between the two races and nothing is more fulfilling than seeing two people fight for the love they share and the right to be together! Helia and Grayden are a great match once they realize the value each has for the other's life. They are perfectly suited and it was a pleasure reading how they came together.
Helia is a twin to Helcate and she is the good twin. Grayden is a prince. They meet at a human bar. Both think the other is a human and cannot think about dating at all. But then they find out they are not human at all, he is a shifter and she is a witch.

Ruby has created a world of wars, battles, love, opportunities, tears, fears, and drama. I cried during this story. The emotions and details she uses to create this world is wonderful. This is a must read! Just like the rest of this series.

This is the story of how Grayson and Helia meet and the drama that comes along with their forbidden relationship. I laughed and groaned and was entertained. Lots of drama, action and more drama found here. Had to see what they must go through to get their happy ending.
Book 3 of Fated Mates of the Royal Wolf Curse series is a good, steamy and romantic paranormal read with just the right amount of spice. An enemies to lover's genre and is well done in this story.

Spellbound Shadow Prince(Fated Mates of the Royal Wolf Court) by Ruby Brinks is the third book in the series. It can be read as a standalone but is better in order. I enjoyed reading and definitely recommend.
