A series I have followed from the start, l enjoy the Rachel Hatch series.
Number 12 in the series, with number 13 ordered. Two great strong characters in Hatch and Bishop.
Another fast paced, action packed action thriller. A series where the standard has not dropped, in fact one of the best in the series. Strong characters, good twists, great ending.
When a quiet New Hampshire town erupts in chaos, Rachel Hatch is sent in as backup for a senator under fire—literally and figuratively. What should have been a routine security op quickly spirals into a nightmare. A mysterious figure lurks in the shadows, watching, waiting, and armed with a sniper's patience. Every move Hatch makes is under a lens, and every step forward feels like one deeper into a trap.
But Hatch isn’t one to run from danger. When whispers of corporate greed, land grabs, and town-wide corruption surface, Hatch realizes she’s not just protecting a senator—she’s walking into a war zone. Locals are disappearing, old debts are being called in, and someone is making sure no witnesses live to tell the tale.
Her instincts tell her she’s being hunted. Her scars remind her she's survived worse. But when innocent lives are at stake, Hatch doesn't just fight back—she goes on the hunt.
With the clock ticking and a storm closing in, Hatch must do what she does best—outthink, outmaneuver, and outlast an unseen enemy. The only question is, can she stop the killer before the crosshairs lock onto her?
This is another great book in this series from these authors. The book is full of action and only occasionally gives the reader a break. The characters are all believable and great. This is part of a series and could be read by itself but, the reader would gain knowledge of the main characters by reading the series in order. I can’t wait for the next book.
The story of Rachel Hatch's life continues to be full of bad guys, bullets, death and heroes. I have loved each book. This one had a couple of very cleverly written twists that kept me turning pages. It was hard to know good guys from bad. And I loved this new patch and how well it played. Read reading!
This book kept you reading. What is happening in this small town and what is the reason behind the killing and missing people etc, Who is the bad guy? Will they get their comeuppance? And why is Hatch in the crosshairs? This book moves along very well with all the different stories in between. I would recommend this book to everyone.
Rachel Hatch fans and new comers to her exploits will love this read. The characters are so well developed. Readers will be surprised at the twists in this rapid paced thriller about corporate & government corruption. No one will see the ending. You cannot put this book down.
As a citizen of New Hampshire I was disappointed with the many incorrect characterizations of life in the state as written in this book. First of all, large corporations cannot threaten landowners by confronting them with armed thugs in order to intimidate them to sell their property without law enforcement doing something about it. In New Hampshire towns of any size, the primary law enforcement is provided by the municipal police with backup by the State Police if needed. The county sheriff has very little to do with day to day policing. The goal of the corporate antagonist in this story is never clearly stated. Why do they want the properties and water rights they are after? In New Hampshire, large quantities of water cannot be withdrawn from surface water or wells without permits and state supervision. Even if permits are approved after a long process, the amount of water removed cannot adversely affect nearby property owners. Water rights to streams and lakes over ten acres are owned by the state and only reasonable usage is allowed if it does not affect the common good. As for a U.S. Senator colluding with corporate thugs to a assassinate citizens and vigilantes having gunfights with automatic weapons without anyone knowing something was going on before things got out of hand, well, I could not suspend my disbelief to believe this story.
Good for six stars. Hatch is sent to monitor a Senator help his security team keep him alive.
Hatch was sent to Pinewood Falls to beef up a Senators security. He had been getting a lot of threats because he was helping the company that was trying to grab all their water. Her agency thought she was enough extra help and sent her without backup. After all Hatch has a reputation for finishing her assignments with excellent results. Hatch finds she isn’t welcomed by the on sight security team and they don’t listen to her suggestions. That is until someone takes a shot at the Senator but hits his aid instead. The aid had a perfect shot to his heart which stirred Hatch’s suspicions that the Senator wasn’t the target after all. So she went sniper hunting hoping to find some answers. Turns out she has a big batch of hornets in wait.
Another twist of events for Rachel Hatch. I gave this one a 4 star review because some of the twists are twists of betrayal and will make you angry. But when you finally figure out what is happening in this corrupt small town and who is responsible it just keeps getting deeper and deeper. Overall a great read but some of the betrayals that Rachel goes through I felt angry and felt that it shouldn't have happened the way it did. I do understand why but hey you read it and tell your thoughts. These are mine.
Great Read !!!! Just another Hatch Exciting Adventure !!!
I am mesmerized by L.T.'s writing style, character development & plot twists !! I get so entangled with the story that I forget things like proper amount of sleep, eating at correct times & sometimes even having morning coffee with friends !! This was a fantastic book to let me "turn on the movie in my head and follow Hatch as she helps those who deserve it most" !! Thanks, L.T. !!! I'm looking for the next one !!!
Well this is the 12th in the series, and now I have to wait for a few months to again read about Rachel Hatch, aka Hatch.
In this one, a lot of twists and turns and Hatch is in the middle of all of it. Another easy job, just offer protection for one day for a Senator. What should have been easy for others, it never his for Hatch. I believe this one is one of the bests. Don't miss it!!
Rachel Hatch once again is thrust into a situation that is filled with twists and turns and somehow she ends up on top. Great action, fabulous story telling, really good characters. What more do you need? For me, this book had a surprising ending and I cannot wait until the last and final book is out. I love Hatch’s adventures!!
Another great installment. Rachel is assigned a routine job until it’s not. Not everything is as it seems and good guys in disguise. But of course she prevails and wins the day. Rachel is the goat.
Rachel to the rescue. She saves a colleague, a town and stops evil in one fell swoop. She gets a monkey off her back and leaves Talon after helping expose corruption for the almighty dollar. Really great story.
One of our best. Once I started,I couldn’t put it down so I read it in on day. It was so exciting to finely get anoher Rachel Hatch book. It seems like it has been a long time in between books ! Thanks for another book that kept me engaged
I was really disappointed in this book. I’m an avid Rachel Hatch fan, but this one seemed sloppy in the writing and editing. The ending was good, but the middle was careless. Certain phrases were used over and over. Certain elements of the story changed. I hope the next one is better.
I love the Hatch series but Redaction has some flaws that I found troublesome. Some of the timing didn't make sense and the provocateur seemed to have a miraculous healing. The basic story should have been interesting if the author didn't try to cram so much into it.
Threats and counter-threats. Moves and twisting loyalties. Who is being played. Rachel needs to quickly determine the players before she is in the cross hairs. Well written story!
Very good book, this book was exciting and full of action from the beginning, the characters were great and powerful.I love Bishop and Tuck. The ending was great as well, can't wait to see what's next for Hatch.
Great action thriller! Loved the quickness and plot of this novel! Couldn't put this novel down like so for all the Rachel Hatch novel. Keep writing so I can keep my reading at A1 satisfaction!
Betrayal, suspense, & action. Every thing you come to expect from L.T Ryan! I didn’t want it to end, but can’t wait for the next book to come out. It’s already preordered!
I wasn’t sure if I’d like this novel, but it surprised me. I’ve read all the other books in the Rachel Hatch series so I knew what to expect, or so I believed. This installment had a different feel to it.
Another exciting story of Rachel Hatch. Nothing is ever as it seems. She comes through again, but this time, not unscathed. Life goes on, and so does she. This book is a page turner, another great story from the mind of LT Ryan.
I couldn't put it down! Wonderful action & suspense! The story wad so exciting & well written. Hatch is a marvelous character - strong, cunning, intelligent, & honorable. This series is intoxicating & addictive. I just wish they were written faster!
This is an unputdownable book! Rachel was on assignment to be a bodyguard for a senator. It was a simple assignment which turned into a disaster. I highly recommend this book. Happy reading! ☺️
This was definitely a great Hatch chapter. She goes in as protective force ends up saving the day. Bishop helps her understand the Politics of Talon. So she made decision to help him to get away then even score with Thorne. 10 stars plus !!! Thanks Carl Clause I
Without a doubt, the best story I've read in the Hatch series. She it tasked with a mission with numerous twist and turns in it. She discovers what's behind it all and takes action only she can.
Simple task a couple of days of protection duty. Yeah right! I read them all and for me this was the best yet . Quintessential Hatch honor , duty, loyalty above all. Hatch wins, Talon loses enough said. Read it!
Not sure why this one dragged on for me. Maybe it’s because I heard the author write about “the smell of damp earth and pine” about 1,000x. I did like Bishop’s character though and how things shifted in terms of character relationships about halfway through.
This was one of the best ones just never new which turn was coming. I love hatch wish there were another 20 books with her. Just have to wait and see if there are more after mirage. Brilliant writing 10 stars to the authors.
