Rating: 4.95. Absolutely loved learning about Adriel and Isabella’s story. If you think about it they started it all even if this is the 2nd book. I’m looking forward to Marina’s story. The fact that this started off as where the 1st left off was pure genius. I have loved every waking moment of this and I’m truly honored to have arc read this. Looking forward to its release date on May 28th! Preorder your copies now! ☺️

Ughh what could I even say? This book was just chefs kiss and more than I could ever have expected for book two! This book had everything, love, drama, angst, spice, humor, literally everything! I’m obsessed with the Giovanni family and cannot wait to get more and more of them because their bond as a family and including all of their family friends just makes my heart swell! MC Larios has truly become a must read/buy author for me overnight! Everything you need in a book to truly make it a story she has it! Her writing and storytelling is just so so beautiful that she’ll have you wrapped around her finger! This book was amazing and I’m yearning for more. So yeah easiest five stars I’ve ever given a book. 🤭

Adriel & Izzy have my heart. This was definitely a five star read and MC never misses when it comes to the mafia world. She seriously made this book with love and compassion. I cannot wait to read more about the family in their own books.
There was so much suspense and wonder, she left me questioning a lot but every question i had was answered.
I went through a rollercoaster of emotions and only the best kind of books can do that to me!

Reading Adriel and Isabella’s story was just a chefs kiss. It has all the good tropes: mafia, touch her and die, and it’s spicy like ahhh. I always love reading series because you keep adding onto the characters and building their characters. The drama, the good times and bad, it just all completes the story.

What a tragic story for Adriel! He went through so much to prove himself to be nothing like his father! Izzy is the rock that he needs by his side! She loves him regardless. I don’t like cliffhangers but I think I’m in the right place of knowing who took Mari. I can’t want for Mari’s story. This series is a great read. I’m use to more smutty books and really dark romance but you have kept the story line intriguing for me to read this series! Can’t wait.

Love a good prequel!!! I loved how the storyline connects from the first in the series!!! So fun to connect the dots and connect with the characters on a deeper level!! Absolutely enthralled in every page!!! LOVED

The books from Mc Larios are so freaking good. The plot, the characters, the suspense, the drama. Everything is just amazing, The author is so talented, they know how to write! Every part left me wanting to read more. Even when I finished the book, I was left wondering what would happen next. I can’t wait for the book to be released so I can add it with Teresa. 🤍

absolutely loved this story and the characters! The way MC introduced these characters in book 1 but gave them their own backstory is amazing! Perfect read for someone who loves a heartfelt love story but with a little danger and spice.
