Cassie resides in Northern Illinois on a farm with her husband and six kids. When not writing she can be found reading or chauffeuring her kids or showing pigs. Cassie is a huge advocate for foster care and adoption. Enjoys a good horror movie, a dark romance, and alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol. You did just read she has six kids right?
So I started reading this book and then decided to read book 1 in this series, Shattered Omega, for a richer experience. I think this could totally be read as a standalone but did pick up after the events of book 1.
One of my favourite things in book 1 was Sasha ☺️, and this is her story. She is one amazing beta. This girl is strong, and fierce over the ones she loves. My heart totally made a happy dance when she finally bonded with Levi. Stone, the second alpha, comes into the story soon after that. I loved how she also was a kismet bond for our sweet omega Flynn.
Levi and Stone are well written and wonderful alphas. Bonus of having not so many alphas in the pack is we get to know them much better.
Flynn is so wounded, and the love he gets from this pack is amazing. Stone’s nickname for him … Sweet Boy … is bang on.
If your looking for some delicious 🌶️ , this story has that too 🔥.
Fantastic book. There is a third in this series and I one clicked it right away. I highly recommend this 💗
This was my first book with a male omega and I was sceptical at first but I absolutely loved this book. The way they kinda match each other's crazy but at the same time just balance each other out was great. The plot was amazing honestly but didn't overpower the romance. I loved this book.
Sasha was so fierce in this one. I loved that she was a force to be reckoned with. And her men. This did not disappoint. The chaos had me gripping my iPad. Those twists and turns were thrilling. This was a great mix of hot and steamy. I couldn’t get enough of this one.
Wow I love Sasha and her men. Her friendship with Nadia is amazing and I love how they take care of each other. This book was so good and I love everything these authors put out.
- Beta FMC is insecure her Alpha won't leave her for an Omega so she's saving her virginity, he randomly bites her to prove he won't leave, and she IMMEDIATELY trusts him and wants to f*ck. - Alpha immediately forgets about the FMC when he sees a picture of his omega. - Alpha apologizes and is immediately forgiven. Just like that. - Alpha even drops FMC's hand at the mention of his Omega.
Like no you can f*ck off with that new Omega of yours. DNF'd at what, 10% in? Another beta FMC story completely ruined by a male omega 😑

Sasha had never craved blood before – but suddenly one day the craving came upon her from out of the blue.
Sasha's life had always been quiet – at least that is until her best friend was taken from her and hidden away for reasons Sasha couldn't understand. They were able to finally find her, thank the Fates for that. But, since then nothing in Sasha's life had been simple.
Sasha still had that hunger within her...and then there was that scent trail. A trail that led her straight into something even darker than she could have ever imagined.
Sasha knows in an instant that Levi is hers. He is fierce, possessive, and irresistible. But she knows that there's more than just him being hers. His scent, his scent matches hers too.
His Kismet Omega.
Then there's the haunted, broken man that we were never supposed to find.
And Sasha's thirst doesn't just lead them to him – it draws her straight into the path of some stranger they don't know if they can trust or not. Stone is a former cop who is now on his own mission of revenge. He's sharp-eyed with an even sharper tongue. And he's dangerous in a way that makes Sasha's blood sing.
And as for Stone, he no longer just wants justice. Now he also wants her.
Now Sasha finds herself caught between Levi, the Alpha she always thought that she was going to have, Flynn, the Omega that Fate is demanding we save, and Stone, the man who has surprised Sasha and yet she finds is burning just as fiercely as both Levi and Flynn are. The bonds that Sasha's created are more than just your typical bonds – it's an inferno that's about to explode. Sasha knows that she never set out to build a pack or fall for the 2 Alphas and the Omega. But, what's done is done and now that she has fallen for them there's only one thing left for her to do. She's going to have to fight to keep her pack alive and together, no matter the cost and no matter how many rules they have to break to make sure they all survive, And Sasha knows that if the world wants to burn for them. Then she's going to let it. Entangled Beta is the 2nd book in the Murder and Mayhem Omegaverse series by Cassie Lein and Bre Rose. This book is written in the present tense with multiple POVs (which I love and adore), and is presented in the first person.
Sasha is such a kick-ass FMC and I just adored her and her murdery ways! She accepts who and what she is and she makes no apologies for it. Even after she talks to Levi, one of her Alphas, she refuses to apologize to him for the way that she is. And I just love the way that she doesn't hold back on the violence on those who really deserve it and finally get what's coming to them.
At the same time though, my heart hurt for her. She's a Beta, not an Omega, so she is scared that when Levi does meet his Kismet Omega that she's going to end up either pushed to the side or being pushed out altogether. But, honestly I don't think she understood or realized just how deeply Levi cared about her and then you add Stone into the Pack, yet another Alpha, and then finally Flynn who is the Omega and you can finally see just how loved and wanted she is and she finally starts to see and feel it too.
It was so much fun watching the way that Stone kind of crept up on Sasha and Levi and just kind of managed to slide into their pack effortlessly. All he had to do was look at Sasha and he knew that he was where he needed to be and these were the people who were going to help him get the justice that he was seeking.
Flynn is a different story though. From the first moment Sasha, Levi, and Stone saw his picture and met him, he was all they could think of and they were all obsessed. After they manage to rescue him, they have to go slowly and give him time though as he has suffered a lot of trauma and needs time to start to heal. And the way that Levi and Stone gave him what he needed when he needed it was such a beautiful thing.
There is lots of spice and heat in this book but it's not there to overtake the story or the plot. It's always there to enhance the story and keep it moving forward as part of the plotline. I love my smutty books but I prefer when they have a great plot and story that goes with the smut.
I have to say that if you haven't read the first book of this series yet, you need to go and read it ASAP and then jump into this one as it is another great read by the oh so talented Cassie Lein and Bre Rose. And these are two authors that I can't recommend enough. I just love both their writing so much and I am always waiting to see what they publish next and I can't wait to read it.
I am so glad that Sasha got her own story because I knew she would be one heck of a firecracker who we didn't even touch the surface of in Shattered Omega but boy oh boy was I not expecting this!
One thing that I love about Bre and Cassie's writing is that they tend to write stories that follow the popular tropes/genres of the time but they are so vastly different from anything that is out there and they tend to have elements of the tropes that are never touched, that they tend to set their books apart from the normal run of the mill stories that are out there right now.
What I really loved about this story, more so than Shattered Omega, is that you really got to follow a beta around and see just what happens with their connections to the omega and alphas in their pack. Sasha is fierce, fiery and sometimes downright scary, so it surprised me right from the beginning that she was a beta, but I think that was maybe the best move possible. Once Levi and Stone discover their kismet omega, Sasha begins to really spiral not understanding what her place in this relationship is going to look like (spoiler alert- her place was so much more than I expected and I am so happy for it because I was not expecting the happiest of happy endings for her. Happy ending yes but certainly not the perfect one that she got. I was really afraid all of her fears would come true and then she would get the ending she wanted but that was not at all the case).
What I really enjoyed about this story the most though, was that despite how broken all of these people were, they somehow made the best pack ever. They all have trauma, some more than others, but it was that trauma that brought them all together. I especially felt bad for Flynn and Stone. They both lost something so precious- Stone his sister and Flynn his freedom (for a while). I think what was so beautiful was that all of these people no only had to learn to trust and navigate a pack with each other and learn how to not only coexist, but put their fears aside and let them live in the light instead of the darkness. I think what sets their pack apart from the others is that they was essentially no ties between any of them. Yes, Levi and Sasha had been together but they were at the time content to be just them. I love how they all had to learn about each other to strengthen their bond, but their journey to discovering that strength comes in numbers and the greatest gift that they have is their unity was really fun to read.
I sincerely hope this series continues because I am in love. Fingers crossed that Flynn's sister gets her own happily ever after because I can already tell there is something there between her and her protectors
This book delivers a gritty, emotionally charged, and unexpectedly heartwarming journey through the bonds of love, pack, and survival. At the center is Sasha, a fierce, dark, and deliciously unhinged Beta who hides a tender heart behind a bloodthirsty personality with sharp edges (Get it? Sharp edges… knives. Oh, forget it!) She’s the kind of character who likes to keep things casual and stumbles when things get too real. Her deepest fear is that she’ll never be enough—especially not for her Alpha, Levi, who might someday find his Kismet and leave her in the dust. We pick up with Sasha and Levi navigating the intense transition from lovers to destined mates. Their chemistry burns hot, but Sasha’s insecurities simmer beneath the surface. Enter Stone, an ex-cop whose life has been shattered by the same villains Sasha and Levi are after. He’s broken, raw, and still reeling from his sister’s disappearance. Stone not only fits into their mission, their lives, and slowly, into their pack, but he feels an undeniable pull towards Sasha. And then comes Flynn, the Omega who ties them all together. Traumatized but strong, Flynn brings out a side in all of them that feels utterly necessary. Watching Sasha, Levi, and Stone support him—giving him the power to define his place in their evolving dynamic—was beautiful and respectful. The story doesn’t reduce him to a victim or a prize; he’s essential, not just desired. But what truly shines in this story is how it doesn’t shy away from exploring all aspects of their dynamic. These characters don’t fall into a perfect rhythm overnight. There’s fear, resentment, hesitation and yet, there’s also healing, laughter, and fierce loyalty. The journey from strangers to a family isn't rushed; it’s messy, painful, and deeply human (even in a supernatural world). The dynamic between two protective Alphas, one badass Beta, and one traumatized but resilient Omega is electric. There’s blood, there’s chaos, there’s love—and through it all, there's a compelling narrative about letting go of fear and choosing each other, again and again. This isn't just a romance; it’s a story about trust, growth, and choosing family, not because of fate, but in spite of it. Funny, violent, and unexpectedly tender, this book is a standout in the found-family trope, and a must-read for fans of gritty, emotional Omegaverse tales. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I have read so many different types of omegaverses. I’ve read light and fluffy. I’ve read dark and suspenseful. I’ve read ones where betas are highlighted. I’ve read ones where there are female alphas. But I can honestly say that I have never read quite like this one. There were so many different elements that it really gave a fresh take on an omegaverse. I will say this was DARK. As much as I love the cute fluffy omegaverses, there is something so special about the really dark omegaverses. Read any and all triggers for this one because right from the beginning, this one is in that dark place, and it doesn’t really let up. The bad guys in this world are definitely bad. But the main characters are so amazing that it really made this for a special story. I loved the talk about the different types of bonds. That is something that I have never quite seen before and found it such an interesting element.
I tend to be very wary of books where the FMC is a beta. I have read a few that have really done a good job of it, but I get nervous about it at times. But this book showed me just how amazing a female beta can be. Sasha is a dark, dangerous, bada*s, that has the perfect touch of crazy. How can you not love a FMC with a bloodlust and her only real fear is that her alpha will leave her for an omega? Honestly, she sealed the deal on my love when she cooked Jimmy dinner. Levi is the perfect alpha. His love for Sasha is so strong and he makes me so happy. Stone and Flynn were perfect additions to this dark pack. They both had to deal with something so impactful and traumatizing.
This was the perfect dark, suspenseful omegaverse. I really enjoyed reading about this pack and how they came together to form a really beautiful pack. It has absolutely amazingly hot spice that shows just how passionate this pack is. I really enjoyed reading this, but it is not light and fluffy so don’t expect it. I loved how this pack came together through the dark and made it out the other side.
Independent reviewer for BookSirens, I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book 2 in the Murder and Mayhem Omegaverse series. I have not read book one, Shattered Omega. I will come back to this point.
The title of this series is absolutely SPOT on! I mean, Sasha is . . .I mean, I LOVED Sasha and her murdery tendencies! She is who she is, and once she talks to Levi, her Alpha, she makes no apologies for being who she is. It really is needed, the on page violence that she inparts on certain folks who darn well deserve what they get coming to them!
But I also felt, deeply, for Sasha. Since she is a beta, and not an omega, when Levi finds his Kismet Omega, she feels she may be pushed out. Now, I think she didn't give Levi enough credit for how he feels about Sasha, but add Stone into the mix, another Alpha, and with Flynn being the omega in the pack, it's understandable how she loved.
I loved that Stone crept up on both Levi and Sasha. Flynn was another story. Flynn was in everyone's mind from the minute they saw his picture and met him. But Flynn has suffered, badly, and needs time. I love that the Alphas gave him that time, and allowed Flynn to heal before starting something new with everyone.
It's steamy and the smexy times are plentiful, but they do not overtake the plotline, and I did love that. I do love the smexy books, but I need a plotline with them!
Back to not reading the first book. I think I maybe missed *something* by not doing. I can't pinpoint exactly what it was, and my book brain will not release what's bothering it, but there was that tiny niggle at the back of my brain for the whole book.
This point, and that fact it is present tense, multi POV AND first person are the only reasons I give this book. . .
4 solid stars
I do need to go back at some point and read book one before I get to book 3, which I really REALLY want to read, especially after reading that blurb and who I think that it!
I was so excited to see that Sasha got her own story. If you recall from Shattered Omega, Sasha is Nadia's bestie. Sasha’s story begins when Levi and Sasha take their relationship to the next level. Sasha knowing she is not Levi's Kismet, fears he will meet them and forget all about her. As venerable as Sasha is about this situation don't forget she is one badass chick that is not afraid to take down anyone. She discovers that she likes the feeling of murder and Levi has agreed to help her get out part of this need she has by taking down the bad for the wronged. While executing this side of her self we stumble into Stone who is looking for justice for answers about his missing sister, who he suspects has been murdered. Stone is an ex cop knows with all the corruption within the force he will never get justice the legal way, plus he must know what exactly happened to his sister. He finds out and sadly it is worse than he could have ever imagined. Other information comes out at this first meeting and Levi and Stone discover they share a Kismet, that is being held against his will. Not only that but Stone has a strong pull to Sasha, he has to figure out how to tell Levi especially since they just meet and have just discovered they are pack mates. Sasha is devastated to find out just as Levi has marked her that she could loose him to his Kismet. But Sasha has no idea how she is going to become so important to this new pack. First things first she must set aside her feelings to help save Levi & Stones Omega, Flynn. As the story unfolds you will see how each member of this pack is broken in one way or another but when they come together they are one strong force that are going to get answers that each one needs to heal. Not only that but they are going to take down all that have been wronged to be able to start healing together. Can Sasha find her place in the pack as well as satisfy her needs? You are just going to have to read to get these answers and so much more.
Sasha and Levi have been together for a while but they finally want to make their Luminary Bond official and of course finally give Sasha her first time.
While working to save omegas they find themselves at a house of someone they need to handle. Sasha is super excited to take this guy down and hopefully find more information on what is going on. During their murder they meet and ex-cop names Stone. Stone is searching for his sister, an Omega, who has been missing for a long time.
However, in this house they find a bunch of pictures of dead omegas and some that are not. Among the photos Stone discovers that his sister is truly gone but at least now he knows for sure. The biggest shocker though is finding a photo of an Omega named Finn who both men know is their kismit bond.
So now the three of them are going to need to find and save this Omega so they can create a pack of their own. Stone finds himself also drawn to the sassy beta and he needs to figure out how to approach Levi so they have no secrets but it's decided that the Omega comes first.
Insert Sasha being herself and knocking on the door of the house they believe the Omega is in. When she sees him she discovers that he is also her kismit bond and now needs him safe immediately.
Saving Finn is not just getting rid of the Alpha's that have him but the leader of the group that is supposed to help Omegas but instead sells them off.
So now Finn needs to learn to trust in the three people meant to be his in every way. However, he has doubts that anyone would want a broken Omega. I absolutely loved Finn's growth and watching him blossom as well as the entire pack coming together.
This is a story of murder, survival, overcoming challenges and offering a safe place for those in need. It is absolutely beautiful.
I am so in love with the OMV Genre! This story has all the feels, as Levi and Sasha find their lives changing overnight! Sasha is trying to cope with her insecurities as a Beta whilst Levi, as an alpha, tries endlessly to convince her he will always love her even if he did hopefully one day find his omega/Kismet match. His marking her and finding her to be his Luminary Bond, seals their fates as she is the one for him! Like I said so flipping romantic with all the feels....and don't forget the heat between the sheets!! So H.O.T! Then enters Stone, seeking vengeance for his missing sister, who is an omega that disappeared 2 years ago, He sees Sasha with a couple who had been suspected of abusing omega's and he could not believe he may have found someone who he would want to spend the rest of his life with. The pull towards her was undeniable! For a Beta she has a very dominant streak that he admires, as he sees her work over a suspect! Levi does find his Omega, his Kismet match, trapped with the Carlisle brothers, which by the hand of fate is also Stone's Omega/kismet match leaving Sasha dreading the unknown. As Levi, Stone and Sasha plan to free Flynn, the Omega, from his prison, Sasha feels insecure as to where she will stand within the pack that Levi, Stone and Flynn will eventually form. I loved the heat, the drama, the "unaliving", as the four of them form a solid bond, especially when Sasha sees Flynn for the first time and he is her scent match and omega too.....obviously a pack is beginning to form with 2 alphas, a Beta and an Omega! Become immersed in this action packed book as Sasha and Levi accept Stone and Flynn into their lives and reach their much fought HEA!!
I've really enjoyed this series so far. The story follows on from Nadia's ordeal in book 1. This time, it's about her best friend Sasha, who's a Beta. For being a Beta, Sasha is very strong and opinionated. She will not stand on the sidelines and let someone hurt, she'll be front and centre with her knives, letting the person know they've made a grave mistake crossing her. This is one of the reasons Levi is drawn to her: the fierceness as well as her compassion for others.
Levi knows that no matter what, Sasha is his. He truly loves her. He wants to take the relationship further, but Sasha has reservations because things may change if her finds his Kismet Omega.
They are still hunting down the people from Book 1; they have someone in mind, and this is where they run into Stone, a former cop, who is also hunting down those he thinks took his sister. Immediately, he is drawn to Sasha's sass, her confidence; he needs to get to know her, but then he sees Levi, and knows that she is off limits.
But they are in for a few surprises. These three are brought together to find the one person that fate has chosen for them. A person who has been dealt an unfair hand, who has been used and abused by a system that was supposed to help them.
Flynn has had a traumatic time. Can he trust the three people in front of him, especially the two alphas? Levi, Stone, and Sasha have to take things at Flynn's pace. Let him feel comfortable, surrounded by love and understanding. Hopefully, then he can be part of the pack and truly feel the love and be cherished, as an Omega should be.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
ENTANGLED BETA is the second book in the Murder and Mayhem Omegaverse series. I haven't read the first, but would definitely recommend it as there were parts that I didn't fully understand. It didn't have a massive impact on my enjoyment of this story, but I think it would help if you knew more.
The first thing that I loved is that Sasha is a Beta. Too often, they're forgotten, or only mentioned as hard workers. Sasha is not someone to overlook, or if you do, it's at your own cost! She is multi-faceted, happy with stabbing the bad guys, or making sure her omega is safe. Whatever you need, Sasha will make sure you have it.
As for the guys, Levi is the one who was introduced first, followed by Stone, and then Flynn. Each of them brings a special something to the story, and it wouldn't be the same without them. Stone is my favourite and my heart broke for him over and over, while he also made me laugh.
The story was well-paced, being neither too fast nor too slow, and a mixture of character- and plot-led, and this is where I think that prior knowledge would have been handy to have. Saying that, I still thoroughly enjoyed this story and would continue with the series going forward. I want to read the first book in the series now! Definitely recommended by me.

Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books! Apr 24, 2025
Lets be honest from the start and say if you had read any of Bre Rose and Cassie Lien collab’s that we are in for a treat. These two together are just sublime and they just create this wonderful story that just pulls you in and gives so much. Entangled Beta does not disappoint and hits on so many levels.
Let me just say I want to be Sasha, this woman is a major badass that holds her own against the alphas. Sasha is beta that realises she needs more from life and has now particular needs and wants, this are not normal needs, but tbh it makes sense for Sasha – this woman needs to kill, but kills those that deserve it. But for all her kick ass habits she has her insecurities and deep down she is a woman that wants one thing that never thinks she will get – she wants that forever, for that all longing love and connection. Will a beta ever get that forever on the same level that omegas do.
Sasha Alpha opens up and does something that he shouldnt do, Levi is a man that knows what he wants and he is a man that wants his Beta, she is his everything.
Add into the mix another alpha that is drawn to Sasha and in these three entanglements the two alphas view their kismet omega match, who is being held by an unsavoury pack.
Can this group do what they need to, to rescue their omega, and can they overcome their insecurities and learn to develop not only their own new dynamics but learn to connect with each other.
This book will have you drawn in from straight away, it is action packed, high on emotion and so much more. I am so excited for more.
Spice: 5/5 Genre: Omegaverse, Suspense Romance, Content Warnings: Violence, Death, Rape (not by anyone in RH), Kidnapping, Trafficking and Imprisonment ARC Source: I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. PoV: 4: Sasha, Levi, Stone, Flynn Thoughts: While it’s not required, I highly recommend reading Shattered Omega first. It’s where we are first introduced to Sasha and Levi and provides what I consider important background into the both of them. I loved Sash from Shattered Omega so I was pretty excited to see she got her own book and I got the opportunity to read more about her and her story. Sasha is one fierce, independent, sassy, compassionate and wholehearted beta. I think this is a different type of omegaverse than most people would be expecting; it’s dark, weird and suspenseful. The bad guys are definitely bad and the good guys are definitely…..good??? I guess that depends on how you might define good and bad based on the situation and that’s what makes this such a good book to read. You will see some of the characters work through those same concerns about their own actions and behaviors. It was wonderful to see the dynamics between everyone and Fylnn and the space they gave him to grow within the pack. There is lots of action, suspense, spice and heart in this book. I would highly recommend this book and series, I can’t wait to see what the next book is about.
Prior to reading this book, it is recommended you read Shattered Omega because the story line will make more sense. If you read Shattered Omega, you will remember Nadia and her mates and what they went through. All the players were not taken out at that time. Now, it is Sasha’s story and will pick up where parts of Nadia’s left off.
Sasha remembers having to take someone out to protect not only Nadia, but other innocent Omegas. She liked it! She craves it! Her partner, Levi, an alpha, is deeply in love with her but is not a Kismet to her. She worries he will find his Kismet and leave her in the wind. When he discovers her macabre secret, they decide to pay one of the old players a visit…WOW! They meet another alpha, Stone, a former cop who is looking for his missing sisterhe Brenda.
They make a horrendous discovery but aim to make things right. When they all three find a Kismet omega, they know they will have to pull together to rescue him from another horrid pack. What occurs after the beginning is full of action, high heat, adventure, and more. How many players are there in this game? How high up does the corruption run? I know this will not be the last story in this series. You will want to catch the latest installment to stay on top of what happens to those who mess with the wrong omegas~
If y'all have read Shattered Omega, which is technically book 1 of this standalone series, then you have met Sasha. She is our leading lady of this story, and she is one fierce, strong, sassy, and deliciously dark beta. This girl doesn't take anything from anyone and will flat out put you in your place. We see her first with Levi. He is from the MC that helped her in book one to get her best friend. These two are going from the boyfriend/girlfriend stage to mates. Though Sasha has a lot of resistance on her side as she is a beta, not an omega. I loved these two together they healed each other. While trying to finish tying up some loose ends from the previous book, they run into Stone. This man broke my heart. He is an ex-cop, and he is in a tough head space after his sister's disappearance from the same people Sasha and Levi are after. These three team up to bring them down, and this sets them on a journey to not only destroy others but bring them closer together. On the journey, they find Flynn, the omega that will tie them all together in the best possible ways. Though his story and struggles definitely break your heart even more. This group is amazing, and I loved to see how they heal from each other and complete each other.
If you're into the dark omegaverse genre this book is a guaranteed wild ride so buckle up. I instantly got immersed and invested in the story and these amazing characters. It's unique in that the female lead is a beta (Sasha) and the omega is a male (Flynn). Their relationship also includes two alphas (Levi + Stone) and wow wee the spice was spicing while also having an intense, addictive, twisted, and suspenseful plot.
Sasha, Levi, Stone, and Flynn's relationship dynamics had me glued to the pages practically salivating for more. I loved how their relationship developed and how well they all fit together. They are all a different flavor of unhinged and I am obsessed.
This is not your sweet cute little omegaverse read this is what you read when you're craving a dark twisted unhinged omegaverse.
This is book 2 in the Murder and Mayhem Omegaverse series and can be read as a standalone. I'm definitely going back to read the first book and I can't wait for the next one in this crazy series.
Thank you BookSirens, Cassie Lein, and Bre Rose for the opportunity to read this book.
When I first started reading this book, I had a mental block of who the characters were as they are written in a way that you should be familiar with them. It then clicked and I did a little happy dance when I realised this was Sasha, the bestie from Book 1: Shattered Omega. So, word of advice, read Book 1!!
Entangled Beta continues on from Book 1, with the big evil still functioning and threatening the happiness our main characters. Let the murder & mayhem ensue! The writing of this story is strong and captivating, with the push and pull from the characters emotions and trauma, as a reader you feel it all. I loved the vulnerability and loyalty from the pack as they grew in each other's love and heat! As this series is not over just yet, I am extremely excited for Book 3. If you want a powerful omegaverse story, add this series to your TBR, the authors Bre Rose and Cassie Lein are a powerhouse duo who will become favourites, they certainly are two of mine!!
Oooo weee do I love a good omegaverse. This one was a KNOCKOUT! I love a book that brings people together that never thought they could be together or be happy. This book does just that.
Sasha is a HOOT! She’s strong and confident and VERY protective. She’s not afraid to call you out when you’re wrong or acting out.
Levi is a MC member who’s head over heels for Sasha. Never even thought of anyone but her. Until he sees a picture of his kismet omega. The one who will change all their lives.
Stone is strong, broody, quiet and alone. He’s been searching for his sister for years. Hoping beyond words that she’s alive and well somewhere. Then he meets Sasha and his world is changed forever when that means he’s got an omega too.
Flynn, sweet darling Flynn. He’s innocent, broken, but stronger than you know. He’s protecting his heart. Especially from his Alphas. But the beautiful beta has a way of sneaking in and stealing his heart.
Ok so please please read Shattered Omega first. Because it is the first book in this series. That is where you get your first introduction to Sasha and Levi.
Sasha is a fiery beta who loves woth her whole heart but is afraid to let people in. She does casual great but the deep stuff not so much. She is so afraid to be left behind that it is easier to just stay guarded. Her and Levi have been a thing for a while. Casually of course. But Levi loves Sasha and does whatever he needs to do to prove to her that he will never leave her behind.
Then in walks Stone and everything is thrown on its head. This is where scent matched omegas come in. And it is so freaking glorious watching Sasha open herself up to not only Levi but Stone and Flynn too. Mmmmm *chefs kiss*.
Bre and Cassie bring you on this amazing omegaverse ride that drops you into this world and holds you. You are on the edge of your seat and dying for everything to turn out right in the end. Can't wait to see what comes next.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the 2nd book in the Murder and Mayhem Omegaverse series. I hadn't realised this when I started the book, but think I'll definitely be going back to read book 1 to understand more of the story but it wasn't needed to enjoy or read this book.
Sasha is the FMC, who is a Beta, she is amazing, I absolutely loved her vibe! Levi, one of the MMCs, is her partner, she didn't want to be dumped when he found his bond, I found this heartbreaking that she felt that this would happen so I'm so glad the story went the way it did.
We also meet Stone, the older ex cop alpha whose story absolutely broke my heart. His story really gripped me, and I am so happy he found his HEA. We then meet Flynn, who turns out to be their Omega. They rescue him and help him heal.
I really enjoyed the storyline. It's full of twists and turns. It has great banter, a good plot, and a good sprinkle of spice 🌶 really enjoyed reading this book. I would definitely recommend 👌
This is the second book in the Murd3r and Mayhem Omegaverse. This book has been a long time coming!! I have waited for Sasha’s story since reading the first book “Shattered Omega.” I love Sasha’s little murd3rous and st@bby self! This book was so worth the wait! I was happy to have finally read Sasha’s story. She needed her own story especially after the way she took care of and protected her best friend, Nadia. Sasha is such a strong and fierce character. In this story we learn more about who she is. We witness her fears and learn about her vulnerabilities. She just wants to be loved and scared she never will. Thank you, Bre Rose and Cassie Lein, for another amazing story in this captivating and st@bby book! Anytime I see your names on a book together I know I will love it! This book just continues to prove me right! I hope the next book involves the anonymous hacker! I feel like they need a pack of their own!!
We met Sasha and Levi in Shattered Omega -- Sasha is Nadia's BFF and Levi's brother is one of Nadia's men and his MC helps them. Sasha loves Levi, but worries that since she's a beta, Levi might leave when he finds his Omega. Sasha also realizes that after events in Shattered, that she might be a bit unhinged and like unaliving a little too much. When she is out living her best unaliving life, she meets Stone who is after the man she is unaliving in his pursuit of finding his sister. As Stone and Levi search the place they realize that they share a Kismet Omega, Flynn, and need to save him.
I love that we get to the vulnerable sides of each of the characters. They are all struggling to find their self and their place. But they were also fierce and protective of each other. I like that Stone and Levi were supportive, but not overwhelming alphas and that they let Sasha and Flynn set the pace. Great story!
Entangled Beta is book two in the Murder and Mayhem Omegaverse series. After reading book one I knew I needed more, and this book did not disappoint me one bit! This book has it all and it will take you on a heck of a ride. The MFC, Sasha is a beta, and she is fierce and rough around the edges, but she will have you rooting for her the whole time. The Alphas are Levi and Stone. I love them both, but I think Stone has the number one spot for me. Flynn is the Omega and oh how my heart broke for him. This bunch is perfect for each other. This book is full of action, and it will have you on the edge of your seat. I cannot wait to read the next book by these two authors. I love when Cassie and Bre get together and make magic!
As always be mindful of trigger warnings, what I like you may not.
I love stories when the Beta is loved just as fiercely as an Omega. Sasha is a fiery, independent beta full of sass. She also has a more gentle side that only those closest to her see. I found the way this pack evolved to be a bit more unique than I normally read. Levi and Sasha are newly bonded when they meet Stone and discover they share a kismet bond with an omega, Flynn. The change in this pack from strangers to family had the growing pains you expect with adults learning to compromise and live with each other. A lot of times this is skipped over or they magically all get along immediately. Adding in a whole load of trauma, blood thirst, and fighting the real villains this story was entertaining, heartbreaking, and funny. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the second book in the series. This is a dark omegaverse with MM content. Be sure to check those triggers before reading.
This book was about Alpha Levi and Beta Sasha. They had been dating for months. Sasha was scared to commit to him because she felt if he found his omega he would leave her. He didn’t know how else to convince her that he wasn’t going anywhere. She was out to find justice for omegas that had been hurt when she came across Stone. Stone was at the same place she was. He was a former cop looking for his missing sister. Levi and Sasha were bonded to each other. It turns out Stone was meant to be with them as well. The guys were in the barn when they came across photos. They found their omega in one of the photos. They ended up locating Flynn but he was not quick to trust after what he went through. Definitely a good read as is everything they write.
Entangled Beta : Murder and Mayhem Omegaverse !! One kick@ss heroine Sasha a Beta in every single way ( so fierce and strong and confident and protective, and underneath all that is the softest heart ever . and three of the hottest guys ( how lucky can a girl be ? Levi , Stone and Flynn !!!! I have to be completely honest , I just might be equal parts obsessed and in love with all 3 . Because really how can you choose ? When each is so different , with so many layers and complexities . This was just such an amazing and I mean amazing story !!!! Because no one writes dark omegaverse romances quite the way Casie Lein and Bre Rose do . They truly are a force to be reckoned with together and separately .
