An playful little story that reads like one long in-joke. The whole thing is basically just two guys needling each other back and forth. But it is fun to get an inside look at what struggling authors endure when hawking their books.

As good a tale about mystery biz as you’ll read. More self aware than “The Simple Art of Murder” … funnier, too.
