I almost let the repetitive "my boss's boss" in the blurb for this book discourage me from reading it but I didn't and I'm glad that I still gave it a chance. This ended up being perfect for my mood and overall it was a pretty enjoyable story. I will say, the over abundance of sex-craved females throwing themselves at the hero was more than a little eye roll inducing but looking past that and focusing on just the main characters, it was a good book.

Torn between 1 and 2 stars
For sure spoilers.
Ooph... this one was a doozy. The storyline was a good concept but the execution fell wwaayy short. One of my biggest peeves in a book is the overuse of exclamation points.. when I read one I think they're yelling.. and when I see they're not I have to reread it in the right tone.. just throws the scene off. Homegirl needs to step away from the thesaurus. Bigger words does not equal a smart choice. The number of times I needed to hold down my finger to get a definition was way too many times. The mfc was so ditzy I had my eyes stuck from rolling so much.. if I gotta read "on the forty first floor of the bymark hotel" again i would have screamed with at least 2 exclamation points. Im also a little confused about how one has a strong British accent when he was born and raised in America, spent a few summers in Spain.. and then had a career for a handful of years in England or wherever... I can understand their lingo rubbing off and I can also understand a slight accent as it for sure does happen.. but a full blown British accent meh I don't believe it... also there comes an age when you need to stop calling your father daddy... gives me the ick when adults call their parents mommy/daddy. And the names?!? Where did they come from?? Voopowski? Macfadyen?? Seriously... shes upset Xavier has had a "3 party"?? Yes icky for it being siblings but that's low of the totem pole of ƙ!nky... and then she ran away like a child. Sigh. This book was minimum 200 pages too long. I fought through it because I didn't want a DNF right out of the gates of a new year. But you bet your bottom dollar I thought about it several times. There were several grammar errors or wrong words throughout the book - this did not play a factor in my ratings just thought i should include it needs a good reread with some editors.

I got two chapters in and that was enough for me.
MMC I think I could have got behind. But I didn’t get a chance because he was overshadowed by the vile woman who appeared to have several standout similarities to a certain female celebrity. She was vulgar (I know that was the intention) and it didn’t work fit me. Instead of coming across as funny, it came across as crass and cringey. She absolutely ruined the book for me.
But hey what do I know. I’m just one reviewer of many that loved it.
That was as far as I got, I read a few pages of the FMC’s chapter but I’d lost any interest for the book at this point.

Що мені сподобалось, так це взаємодія головних героїв, дотепність, героїня з шикарними вигинами та щасливий кінець😁
З мінусів, занадто велика книга, люди розказують про себе одразу все практично незнайомцям, ну це якось дивно. Забагато вульгарщини і видумана драма під кінець, хоча вона і швидко вирішилась.
Читати чи ні радити не буду, але в світі є як набагато кращі, так і набагато гірші романи😉
П. С. Наступну частину прочитаю, щоб зрозуміти чи це такий стиль у авторки, чи можливо все буде краще 😅

I really enjoyed this story. I liked that Xavier and Adeline had instant chemistry.
There were several misunderstandings that caused road blocks for them,however, they were able to work through them.
I really appreciated how the supporting characters were supportive even if they did not agree, and they offered adult sound advice. That was very refreshing to read.
I also liked that they were actually a match on the dating website they were on. That was a cute part of the story.
The heat level was 🔥 🔥🔥. A dirty talking Alpha with a British accent. Yummy.

It's a DNF for me. I'm not sure how I got over the disaster start to this book, but I hung for 5 mentions of a characters Montblanc pen (3 times spelled correctly and 2 not) before I bowed out.

This is an off-the-charts hot, funny and all-round brilliant must read, Addie is a magnificent outspoken curvy woman, and Xavier the hot billionaire boss that is about to rock her world and she he’s the interaction the heat and the banter between this couple flows, I heard their banter in my head so well written is their interaction and let’s not forget the chemistry - at no time does it feel forced, I was totally swept up in the world that Scarlett Avery credited with perfection.

Given this as Arc here is my honest review
The very bossy Billionaire was a breath of first air, the MFC wasn’t the normal sexy skinny girl she has curves, Xavier is a ex football who has played in Europe and now back in New York working for his family fashion business. The story of these two is a delight to read there have chemistry that will make you hot under the collar. These two we’re always going to end up together as you will see the connection just keep happening. It’s a definite must read 4 1/2⭐️

I’m pretty sure I’ve read these books out of order but I have to say I found that I really liked Zane’s book a lot more. I still enjoyed this book, Xavier and Addie were a good couple but it just felt like parts of it drug and were repetitive (for example the word hedonistic was overly used and the number of women that threw themselves at him was a bit much) but other than that it was a great book. I loved the heat and the right amount of drama.

So. Bad.
So. Bad. This book was such an amazing idea, but dear god! The cheesy dialogue and the overexplaining was just too boring and repetitive. This book needed an editor so badly it’s ridiculous. I’m just super annoyed because the story could’ve been amazing. but it was nonsense.

Such a great book.
Granted, the beginning was kiiiinda over the top with a certain actress that sounded eerily familiar 😉
But overall, this book is a gem. And it is a plus size festival! I love reading books with plus size heroines. Often it feels like the hot, sizzling connections are despite of or just a preference. But this entire plot was basically an homage to us curvy girls.
I can’t put into words how much I wish that the Keller’s curvy fashion empire would actually exist.
This book made me want to buy an entire new wardrobe!
You definitely feel good about your own busy just reading this book.
Loved all the Keller men and will definitely check out the other stories.
The banter was great, the spice hot, the MMC to swoon for and the plot a great story.
Absolutely loved the first meeting. Wouldn’t we all wish for a guy like Xavier to basically see you in a packed room and just don’t care about anything else other than getting to know you?
As the reader, it was obviously thrilling to know that the fate of these two was already spun in oh-so-many ways before they even finished their first evening with each other.
Talk about the coincidence that the guy you end up hot and heavy over the skyline of NYC turns out to be your new boss’ boss.
I love these tropes!
The only thing that made this book a 4 instead of 5 star read was the 3rd act breakup.
These two had it all together, no miscommunication and no secret relationship that for a second I thought there won’t be drama.
When it came, it was a bit over the top for me in regards of the reason.
If it would have “simply” been Adeline who’s getting rattled by the hot Brazilian models chasing her men, I would have understood. If she would have doubted her relationship and reconsidered if she could trust a former playboy - fine.
But making such a big deal out of a possible threesome in his PAST, I don’t know. That was a bit weird to me.
Of course it’s kinda disgusting to think about the fact that the two women would have been sisters. But the whole moral compass kind of came surprising and out of nowhere for me.
Maybe the whole twin-threesome fantasy has been shoved down our throats too much by Hollywood, that I’m a bit jaded by it.
Who knows how I would react in real life 🤷♀️
Overall, such a cute book which makes you feel good, gives so much love to plus size characters and has an amazing plot.
My favorite plus size story so far!

I want to start off by saying this is the first book that I've read by Scarlett Avery.
The two main characters in this story are Xavier and Adeline, they first meet one night in a hotel. This story felt rushed in a sense, such as their meeting and feelings for each other, felt very insta love to me but that's okay, it just wasn't something I don't enjoy reading overall.
Some parts of the book were too slow-paced, I feel as though if the book was going to be long in a sense, it had the potential to have angst.
Overall, giving this book 3 stars.

I loved the whole book, especially how most of the time the female lead liked her curved body, and the male lead is not struck by lightning with a curvy woman, he actually likes that body type. It was interesting and steamy, and my first book from this author. I am looking forward to Zane's story.

Addie is a woman who just wants success, happiness, and love without her size being a issue. A terrible date puts her in the position to meet Xavier after he had a terrible day. Xavier is new to the corporate world and so far it's gone terrible from his first meeting of the day and kinda misses being on the field playing soccer. Xavier leaving from a meeting spots Addie at the bar and was drawn to her. Addie and Xavier have a very hot night on a special floor in the building and xavier asks to see her again on a date the following evening. Unfortunately life has a bad way of making a good situation to a real chaotic one. Xavier is fuming after being stood up by the woman who he felt a strong connection to and just isn't in the mood for anymore bad things to happen until Addie Walks into the conference room. Addie was excited for her new internship, the place she thought was amazing isn't going to be the great place she thought after coming face to face with her pissed off boss who happens to be the date she stood up. This book was so flipping funny and hot as hell because the fireworks between Xavier and Addie were nuclear. Plus when you add the haters, and just the crazy situations they kept finding themselves in made the story so good. I am looking forward to the next book because this was a good read.

Ok I will start by saying that this is my first Scarlett Avery book....that I'm aware of. And I really enjoyed it!! Adeline and Xavier was great characters and really well developed!! I loved their banter and the chemistry was off the charts!! I also loved loved the fact that they showcased Adeline has a plus sized woman and that she was just as sezy and attractive to an hawt alpha male than the skinny women usually portrayed in these love stories. And Xavier was always making her feel beautiful and telling her that. And bless his heart the women that he had the unfortunate experience with!!! And was laughing at some of these characters so hard at some points I thought I would pee my pants....lol I can't wait for the next book!!! This was a great read!! I highly recommend this book!!

Addie and Xavier meet one night at a lounge in a hotel. They agree to meet up again but extenuating circumstances get in the way of Addie showing up on time. Xavier assumes she stood him up and leaves. They both assume they will never see the other again. Little do they know Addie is now going to be working with Xavier. So, so many shenanigans occur to cause so many roadblocks to their relationship. They really need to overcome a lot.
