Evander is so HOT!
Evander Mackintosh, war leader for clan Mackintosh, and May MacPhearson were in love as youth and hoped to marry. But they were separated and led to believe that the other did not want to continue the relationship. Broken hearted for 10 years, Evander finally accepted that he would never see May again, so he agreed to a betrothal for a clan alliance. Then May shows up at this door. There is a lot going on in this book. A distant father, a longterm feud, 2 broken hearts, a loveless betrothal, misunderstanding, deception, abduction, and a love and passion that can’t be denied. Did I mention that Evander is Hot, Hot, Hot?!!! Wow! Two things that concerned me but did not take away from my rating because Evander was so awesome. 1. May’s father’s reasoning for keeping them apart did not make sense. 2. In the extended epilogue, 10 years later, the 5 Mackintosh siblings each only had 1 or 2 children. That struck me as odd.

When Evander gets his heartbroken by May when she disappeared without a word, he knows he will never love another so after 10 years go by and for the sake of his Clan Mackintosh he decides to marry Enna to join his clan and hers in an alliance. He gets the shock of his life when out of the blue May shows up in the Mackintosh keep, he realizes that he’s never gotten over her but he’s now betrothed to another!! This is a great books and is the final book 5 in the Mackintosh Clan series. I suggest you read them all in order to get the full impact of this series. Each book is written by a different author and all are great!!

A love so strong, it defies the odds!
Fate has separated Evander and May, and despite a period of ten years being taken from them thru no fault of their own, they are suddenly brought together once again and find that their passion has only grown for the other. What problem arises now, is that Evander has made other plans that may destroy any chance of them resurrecting what was lost. The outcome is obviously fate’s choice as well.

I wish there were more stars than 5, I would give it 100! I absolutely loved this book. Ms. Kendrick has outdone herself with this one. I loved Evander! He is so strong, a war leader, and May his true love. I just wished the book had never ended. I truly hope that there is another series in the works. It was refreshing to read books by different writers all about the same family. I loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The cover for Evander’s story drew me in like a magnet. 😍 Being the War Leader, Evader’s character had to be the consummate, smoking’ hot highland hero. This is an enjoyable quick read that’s perfect for a leisurely Saturday afternoon at the beach or on the couch listening to the rain. Once you’re done drooling over the cover model, you should definitely enjoy getting to know the characters, Evander and May.

Scot of Devotion is Evander & May's story of getting back together and rekindling their love for each after 10 years. It's great reading a series in one go as you get to know all the characters well All 5 authors wrote well and all the books had great HOT scenes. Well done

Great Historical Love Story
This was an exciting book. I also loved the extended epilogue as it told of all the families and their children. Of course Evander still showed his love for May.

Love conquer s all
This is a story of past love and the confusion that caused a separation. Such devotion is apparent. Full of passion and dangers. Its definitely one of the better ones. Keep reading the series!
