So Sara gifted our bookclub copies of Emergence to read and review. It took me a while to get it done as I was going through a slump and couldn’t get into the story.

Now a month later, I devoured this book in a day it was so good! I loved the story and dynamic between Noah and Daisy. The aspect of the astral projection was really cool.

Now I will say I think this book made me realize I have a trigger. The things Noah said to her at the end of the book when he thought he was protecting her pissed me off to the point I put the book down and walked away. To me there’s no coming back from the things he said no matter what his reasons were. I was close to DNFing with 25 pages left and that cliffhanger was uncalled for 😂. Can’t wait for book two!

This is the second book I have read by author Sarah Sisk. I read her first debut novel called, “Up In Flames,” which is flaming hot 🔥 (Spicy). Now her second debut novel, “Emergence”, she did not disappoint. Sarah knows how to write a good story/ plot with the spicy erotica all us girls love 💕. She has me sweating! 🥵

I absolutely love Daisy and Noah, the emotional rollercoaster Sarah had me on with these two…. I can not believe Sarah left me on a cliffhanger. Here I am not waiting for the sequel….. Ma’am I need the sequel Please! 🙏🏼

Definitely recommend picking this book up and giving it a try if you like: mystery, paranormal, and erotica!

The chemistry between the characters kept me going, but then the paranormal side had me hooked! I love that she didn’t allow a divorce to stop her, I’m looking forward to seeing her evolve on this journey
