Hating them has never felt so sinful …

My half sister died at the hands of a friend, and I vowed to make him pay.
In the midst of a brewing war between two rival families, the mysterious and friendly Grey Westbrook sweeps me off my feet when I need it the most.
However, my childhood friend Levi Torres—now an obsessive, vicious boy—has made it his mission to erase him from my life.
His arrogant and hedonistic cousin Apollo Torres offers protection against Levi's wrath if I agree to all his filthy demands. But Levi and Apollo aren't my only problems …
A ghost of the past is hunting me, promising sweet vengeance, and the temptation is too big to resist.
My body is ravished and ruined, and I don’t want the depravity to stop, even if my stalker is someone I know.
Three jealous, insatiable boys who were there that night still fight to own me … Betray me.
One is a killer.
One is a sinner.
One is a big, fat liar.
And I will expose them all.

”I would jump off that cliff and go to hell and back through a rain of bullets it it meant I could kiss these lips off last time.”

Whewwww baby I thought the parents were something, but their kids OMFG😅. The angst , the tension, the family feud, the anger and rage, the revenge plot like just EVERYTHING had me on edge.

I love all of my men, but I knew Levi was gonna be my baby🥹, but trust Apollo and Grey don’t disappoint. Don’t worry tho Aspen is just as a bad bitch as her mother is👏🏾.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 stars)

I really enjoyed this book and could hardly put it down! Clarissa knows how to keep you glued to the pages, and this book was no exception. That said, I have to be honest, while I liked it a lot, it’s not my favorite in the series.

One thing I loved was how different all the male characters are. It kept things dynamic and fresh and I appreciated how each of them brought something unique to the story. And Aspen? Absolute QUEEN. She doesn’t take shit from anyone and I was here for every second of her fierceness (she’s feisty 😉👀).

The Ghost storyline had me in a death grip. I was flipping pages like a madwoman trying to get to the reveal… Even if, let’s be honest, it could only be one person 😏.

Confession: I really couldn’t stand Grey at one point, like, seriously, but thankfully things came full circle in the end 😂.

What really stood out to me was how different this book felt from the others in the series. The ‘love story’ and the ‘why choose’ elements unfold in a way that feels completely different from the other books, but that’s okay.

I cried. I laughed. I may have actually slipped off the sofa at one point. This book gave me whiplash 🤭.

And that ENDING… all I can say is: WE NEED BOOK 6 NOW, CLARISSA. Please and thank you.

* I read this book as an ARC *

You had me at masked, primal and bully.
BUT, you kept me with the crazy story line, fiery redhead FMC, psycho behaviour, obsession, hate spicy time, pierced "tools" and of course...we are talking Clarissa Wild here: The RH aspect of it all. Because WHEW!! 🔥 There's plenty of that as well.

It's always hard to put a Spine Ridge University book down once you start it and this book was no exception. The characters were interesting, the spice was HOT, there was tragedy, there was..a LOT going on. I don't want to give you spoilers, but if you enjoyed the other books in this series: You will devour this one. I'm sure of it.

Yum.
Also aw.
And yum.

okay sooo… this was def my least fave in the series. i’m not gonna lie, i spent the first 30–40% kinda annoyed and low-key hating it. like, i kept putting it down. BUT once it finally picked up, i started warming up and actually got invested.

aspen….. ugh. i don’t even know how to explain it but she just wasn’t my girl. her vibe didn’t land for me, and i couldn’t connect with her no matter how hard i tried.
levi, though?? i actually LOVED him. he felt so brave and soft at the same time, and i kinda feel guilty because i was rooting for him way more than i expected.
apollo?? omg my sweet chaotic boy. easily the funniest + kinkiest character here. he was such a sweetheart and totally stole the spotlight every time he was on the page.
and then we have gray… him randomly catching mav’s death on camera threw me. like?? it felt confusing and just a little too random. BUT i will say without him, the book would’ve been straight-up chaos, so i respect his role.

now. THE FIGHT. omg when everyone started throwing hands and shooting i was sitting up clutching my laptop like i was watching pay-per-view. it was messy, dramatic, and exactly what i wanted. pure serotonin.

so yeah, even though this wasn’t my fave of the series overall, it still had its moments. the spice was absolute perfection, and the enemies-to-lovers?? done flawlessly. it gave me everything i wanted from that trope. #enemiestoloversdoneRIGHT

Nope. I hate myself a little for not DNF’ing this. There is zero chemistry between the MC’s. Grey is deeply unlikable. Apollo lusts after Aspen but shows zero emotional depth. He never says he loves her, never shows her any kind of real affection. He’s so 2 dimensional which sucks because I think he has the most potential out of all the characters. The plot is meh and there are inconsistencies. It’s obvious immediately who “Ghost” is and what her “deal” with him really meant. The scenes with the families are eye rolling. The first couple books in this series were pretty good, but each book gets successively worse.

Wow just wow I loved this book so much. I binged this whole thing once I started and couldn’t get enough. I absolutely loved how this was about the children of everyone from past books. I loved all the spice, betrayals, fighting, emotions and love that was happening throughout the read. I liked seeing all the parents and how far they’ve come from their books. All the big twists were amazing. I loved seeing those four together and was just so into everything from the start to the end. The ending definitely left such a cliffhanger that left me with so many questions for the next book

I DNF this book. I found the characters to be so immature. There was also an overload of them within the first 3 chapters I saw nothing but positive feedback from this book so I really wanted to like it but I just couldn’t. It was also all over the place from now, to past, to months later, to years ago.

DNF. Pretty horrendous writing and the characters are so annoying (or cartoonishly evil) that I had to stop after about 120 pages. The smut is smutting but that's about all this has going for it.

If you genuinely loved this book, I'm so happy for you, truly. However, you may want to exit stage left because I certainly did not.

Wow, where do I start? I saw the plethora of 5-star reviews for this book, I kept seeing the promos and ads for it all over social media, I saw the character art, read the blurb, and I was intrigued. I'll admit upfront I have NOT read the previous books in the series, so if you think that may have affected my ability to enjoy this one, let me know in the comments, but I can't fathom that it would really make a difference.

I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone the entire time I was reading this book because it reads like something I would've written for Wattpad when I was 12. These characters are supposed to be in college? You could've fooled me when the dialogue makes them sound like middle schoolers.
“Have a good one,” she says, her ass swaying from left to right as she walks to the exit like a bad bitch who just doesn’t give a fuck.

Characters were constantly being reintroduced to the reader as if we hadn't seen them before, when we had. Several times! Why are we 60 chapters deep into this book and the author is STILL introducing the same characters like "Silas, Aspen's half brother", "Xavier, Aspen's twin brother", "Felix, the Dean", WE KNOW! You told us who these people were in Chapter 2, then again in Chapter 6, then again in Chapter 11, then again in Chapter 20, and so on and so forth!

The plot, or lack thereof, was weak. Every character's motivations and goals were weak. There wasn't a single point in time that I believed Aspen was actually sad about Mavis' death, or angry at Levi for "killing her". The man literally admitted to her face that he killed her sister, and she says she's angry about it, but her actions barely showed it. There was no real flow between chapters; everything felt fractured and jarring. This story could've been condensed significantly with the way so many chapters droned on for absolutely nothing to happen. And don't get me started on that clickbait ass Author's Note:
Please do not skip ahead at any point. There's a crucial point of no return in this book that will completely shift your opinion of one character, and it’s best experienced without prior knowledge.

Still waiting for that "crucial point of no return" they speak of because I genuinely don't know WHAT they're referring to. If it's the "reveal" that , it was so anti-climactic and did absolutely nothing to sway my opinion about him. It was very obvious from the moment the character was introduced. Or is it the "reveal" that ? Give me a break because that was also obvious as hell.

The way the characters interacted with each other outside of their sex scenes felt so painfully unnatural, like their responses felt like they were written by a robot trying to mimic how humans actually interact with each other.
“Because you’re like a firefly in the night. I can’t take my eyes off you until I find you.”

Now what the hell does that even mean? If you keep your eyes on her, you don't have to find her; you're literally looking right at her! Maybe "catch" would've been a better word here?

Aspen:
She was kind of just...there. Again, these characters felt like they were 14 at most, not college-aged, and Aspen was probably the worst offender because she rarely had an intelligent thing to say. I didn't believe anything about her, I didn't believe that she was angry when she said she was, or sad, or vengeful. Her actions rarely ever backed those words up. She made so many choices that just confused the hell out of me; the only thing that seemed to align between her words and her actions was how much she wanted to fuck Levi, Grey, and Apollo.
"If Apollo is going to make me do this, fine, but then I’m going to make it my mission to find that Ghost of mine and smoke him out."

Girl, was that not already your mission!? This is like 35% into the book, and The Ghost was introduced at like 6% (don't quote me, but it was early on), he literally and you're only JUST NOW making it your mission to find him?

Levi:
Dude is a whiny little baby who thinks he's tough. His motivations for letting Aspen and her family believe that made absolutely no sense. But honestly, out of the three of them, he was probably the MMC I liked the most. He made the most sense when he spoke, and the majority of his actions felt justified.

Apollo:
Actually, scratch that. I liked Apollo the best. He was funny, and his distinct character voice was consistent throughout. I feel like he was the most well-written character out of everyone. He didn't really have much depth or personality beyond his muscles and his kinks, but he was entertaining, which was a welcome refresher in this book.

Grey:
I just found myself feeling bad and embarrassed for him most of the time. He was...fine, I guess. I honestly don't have much to say about him because he was mostly forgettable to me. His best scenes were the ones involving Aspen and Apollo; he couldn't really hold my interest on his own.

The Writing:
I don't think I went a single chapter without something about the prose either making me laugh in disbelief or cringe. I have a super fun drinking game for you; take a shot anytime you see "most sensitive spot", "unholy", or "homed in" and see if you don't end up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning.
“I’ll drive.” I bring him to my car and help him get in the passenger seat. “But what about your car?” he asks. “We can pick it up tomorrow. After we’ve fixed … this.” I glance at his gnarly wound.

So...she brought him to her car, then he asks her what about her car, as if that's not the car they're getting into? So are they getting in HER car or HIS?

The fight scene in the end was so cartoonishly bad to me, I'm sorry. Apollo and Aspen are just perfect crackshots that they're able to shoot knives and bats out of people's hands in one try? Without injuring anyone else? Give me a BREAAAAAKKKKKKKK.

The Smut:
This is where this author SHINES. I have to give Clarissa her 10s when it comes to the spicy scenes; they were great. They were the best part of this book, so much so that around the 80% mark, when I just couldn't take it anymore, I started skimming through and only really reading those parts.

Final Thoughts:
I don't think I'll be reading any of the other books in this series, and I'm still not entirely convinced that this book wasn't a fever dream and that I'm not actually in the Twilight Zone. Anyway, if you made it this far, thanks for reading my rant!

WOOOOOW! This book was a ride. I could not put it down. It was full of heartbreak, anger, passion, lots of bloodshed, and a whole lot of spice.

This book follows Aspen and her men: Levi (childhood best friend), Apollo (Greek god looking man and Levi’s cousin), Grey (the newcomer and her boyfriend), and Ghost (she will discover their identity). Aspen and her family are filled with hurt and anger because of the death of her sister and they all blame Levi. Now she wants revenge and she will do whatever it takes to get it, even if it means offering up her body to a couple of people to get it. Aspen is pretty dang strong and can hold her own.

Levi has secrets he is keeping, but the guilt is eating him alive. My heart breaks for him. I love his character so much. He is obsessed, unhinged, and will do anything to protect her while pushing her away at the same time. Apollo..he is so dang cocky, but he cracks me up. He knows he is sexy and can get any woman, but he wants Aspen. Oh and Grey too. Grey, there were times I wasn’t a fan of his. But he was just as obsessed and u hinged as the rest of them. The three of them together, sheesh this girl knows how to attract some morally grey, obsessive, possessive, and crazed men. And her Ghost..the masked man who is stalking her. I had an idea of who he was, but doubted myself a few times. So good!

This book had so many twists and turns. My jaw dropped on the floor several times and there was one part I screamed and had to walk away. I was mad, but then when I came back and continued, I was okay again. False alarm. I forgive you Clarissa lol. Your heart will get broken and put back together again. And OMGGGGG, the spice!!!!! This girl, she gets alllll her men and they use her just like she wants.

This has been LONG AWAITED for the legacy series for the Spine Ridge University! After the cliffhanger of an ending in Boys Who Hunt, I NEEDED ANSWERS and OH MY GOD DID WE GET THEM?!

With the unfortunate death of Mavis, I was not sure what I was expecting to go down, but I WASN’T EXPECTING A RIVALRY AND A MYSTERY! Not to mention this book is SO MUCH DIFFERENT from the rest of the series, I wasn’t sure WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON. I was definitely loving more of the character and world building in this one instead of just pure smut. But let’s be honest, there was still SMUT, and it was as delicious as EVER. We can’t overlook that there is a hot broody and mysterious STALKER?! WHAT A HOT TWIST! Throughout there was such speculation of who it was and when that shit was revealed I WAS GOBSMACKED. But the reasoning for the intentions just made my heart break and I wanted TO HUG THAT MAN. SO. FUCKING. MUCH. UGH.

And we DESERPATELY NEED to talk about Grey! WHAT A GUY. His introduction into this book and how he was there for Aspen in her worst of times, turning into something wonderful, and then becoming a HOT ASS CUCK. GIRL. There was so much more to him than what meets the eye, and we are actually kind of here for it LOWKEY! Oh, and we can’t forget about Apollo & Levi! Both of them in their own way were as depraved as each other and I’m not surprised since they came from Kai and Ares *smirk*.

There were a few chaotic moments but I’m glad the ending turned out the way it did as I don’t think my heart could have taken it to find out a resolution until the next book! With that being said though, the lead up to what the next book is going to be about and WHO has gotten me SO FUCKING EXCITED! AHH!

Boys Who Taint by Clarissa Wild is a rollercoaster ride of emotion, set in the backdrop of Spine Ridge University. Aspen has just lost her half-sister to a supposed friend, and she is out for revenge, but set in her way is a killer, a sinner, a liar and a Ghost, all who bring their own POV and storyline to this book.

We see Aspen trying to juggle her 3 men, one who she dislikes with a passion and blames for her sister’s death, but she just can’t stay away from him. Throw in the elusive Ghost and you definitely have a page turner. I loved that each of the men had hugely different personalities and Apollo’s did make me laugh aloud at times, but man does he do the dirty talk really well.

I never really know how I felt about Levi or Grey throughout the book. Levi really suffered throughout the story, and I felt like his family weren’t really supportive of him or saw the darkness that was going on for him. As for Grey, he was just a little different, but I did enjoy his interactions with both Aspen and Apollo.

This book is full of twist and turns and some very steamy scenes! If you have read other books in this series, you’re going to love the addition.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊

This 👏🏼 Book 👏🏼 Oh my god, there is nothing I love more than a second gen series done well. And TRUST ME…Clarissa Wild has done these parents justice because the kids are probably more unhinged than their parents…and I AM HERE FOR IT!

This review is going to be a little vague…because honestly, you guys NEED to read this book to get the full effect…so…little to no spoilers here!

What we do have…is one Bad A FMC who takes ZERO 💩 from anyone. And that’s exactly what this story needs because these men are a lot to handle. Aspen is EVERYTHING…but life is getting very chaotic lately. Her sister Mavis ends up dead and that kicks off a slew of mysteries and hidden ghost eyes that send chills up her spine…the incident pits families against each other and breaks Aspen and her best friend Levi apart.

Levi isn’t the only man in Aspens life though…we have Grey…the mysterious one and Apollo…kind of the golden retriever who will break your kneecaps if you look at someone he cares about the wrong way. And….I love that.

I was obsessed with Levi from the moment he made it on the page…but I will say with 100000000% certainty that Grey IS MY MAN! And that’s just me showing how colour blind I am to toxic red flags 🙃 you guys know how much I love a man who hates you before he loves you. And Greys lack of acknowledging his love for Aspen had me ON MY KNEES!!! Does he love her???? YES! Is he OBSESSED with her?? Also YES! Will he let her know that?? HELL NO 😂

There’s so much chaos surrounding this story. But the kind of chaos that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle begging for JUST A CRUMB of mercy. And Clarissa gives us…some….but unapologetically leaves us on a cliffhanger that had me screeching like a howler monkey 🥲

I will be patiently waiting by my kindle and stalking their instagram for a morsel of what’s to come 🤭

Thank you so much to Clarissa Wild and Candi Kane PR for the AMAZING opportunity to ARC read this great book! 💙

Favorite quotes from Apollo:
“Good girl. Keep that mouth wide open for me, and I will make you drop to your knees while you’re at it. All in due time.”

“Oh God,” I blurt out. Apollo licks his lips. “I wasn’t named after one for no reason.” An arrogant smirk forms on his face. “So go ahead… pray to me.”

I’m a sucker for this series, these men, and their twisted f*cked up ways. I was over the moon when I got approved for this ARC and I knew going in that it was gonna be a wild wide. Ares is still in my top 10 book boyfriends, so I knew his son Apollo would be no different, but Levi too. 🥵 My broken boy Levi, I loved him I think more than Aspen. I had such high hopes for this book and Clarissa did not disappoint. The suspense, the tension, the mystery, the bullying, the raw filth and unadulterated love, this one had it all. I was angry, worried, happy, and on the edge of my seat. And if anybody does filthy spice right, is Clarissa! The first few scenes, I needed some water. The scenes after about 45% in, I was the water. 💦 The mouth on Apollo and Levi had me on my knees! The ending had my biting my nails and flipping pages so fast, it was a suspense at its finest. And by the end of this book I was made whole again, and I can’t wait to do it all over again with Boys Who Crave! It’s so hard for me to give my opinions without spoilers, but what I can say is that if you haven’t read the Spine Ridge University Series, go do it now.

Clarissa knows how to write books that keep you guessing with twists and turns and great spice. The ending of book one of the second generation leads us to this. Aspen's sister is gone and she's a bit lost. The MMCs were different but so right for her in their own way. Their story was mysterious and spicy and left you wondering what was next.

Costumo adorar este universo, mas este não foi bem para mim. E irritou me como do nada é normal colocar-se as famílias doídas a tentarem-se matar uma à outra quando sempre se deram bem e são família entre si, literalmente

This book was not my favorite of the series. I never really grew to love the MMCs, except maybe Levi. He was pretty great :) Grey was too much of a simp, and Apollo was kind of a fun himbo but also really annoying and never actually seemed to love Aspen.

My biggest complaint about this book is that it’s too much… 800 pages is way too long for a book with minimal plot, and there were way too many characters. I’ve read the other books in the series, but I still couldn’t begin to keep track of all the family members, and their fights seemed to go on forever. There was so much animosity and family drama that I couldn’t take it seriously, and I eventually skimmed over it because I didn’t care to try and follow it.

On the positive side, I enjoyed the Ghost plot line, and I always love the overall ridiculousness of these books - they are completely unhinged and unapologetically filthy. This one just didn’t click as well for me as some of the previous ones did.

🌶🌶🌶🌶

“And I will never, ever take that back. No matter how much it costs me, how much hate I’ll have to take, or how much they will make me bleed. I do not regret fighting for you, not for one single second. I fucking love you in every sense of the word, for every minute of my life I’ve spent on this earth I have never stopped loving you, and I want to keep loving you until we grow old and gray together, until you’re so sick of me that you’ll beg me to die first so you don’t have to hear me say the words again. I love you.”

I don't even know where to start. I absolutely loved and enjoyed this book. All the twists and turns were everything. Every time i thought i predicted something right, it did a whole 360 and i was proved wrong. Everything about this was screaming balanced, the plot, the smut, I was glued to it. I didn't want to put it down, which isn't a surprise because that’s what happens whenever i read a Clarissa book. I sobbed, I laughed, I got hot, I literally felt every single thing while reading this book.

I think one of my favourite things about Clarissa, is how she writes about how different the MMCs are.
Levi literally has my heart. He frustrated me multiple times but all it did was make me love him more. And when he revealed everything, I had to take a break because I cried. He deserved his happy ending with Aspen.

Apollo cracked me up but I absolutely adored him. He was definitely competing with Levi for the top spot in my heart. Even mid breakdown crying about how everything is going, he still managed to put a smile on my face. He was unhinged, and he was a man whipped. And the filth, this man brought in all the hotness, and stamina too.

Grey was such a sweetheart. This man was a man with a goal. He was obsessed with Aspen and was willing to do whatever to get her. Even though sometimes I was ready to kick him out of the book, he really loved Aspen. A man who's ready to put his life on the line to make sure you're safe, keep him. And he whimpers, one way ticket to heaven for me.

Aspen was so queen. She was so badass, and the fireworks scene, no doubt she's Dylan's and Penelope's because she's wild whenever she wants to be and no one can deter her. She doesn't take shit from no one. I loved that despite everything that happened, she still saw the good in Levi. And honestly if i had 3 men obsessed with me, i'd do the same thing she did.

And then there was Ghost. I had ruled it in my mind thinking i knew who he was. Plot twist, he wasn't. At the same time, I kind of started having suspicions, and was 50/50 about who he was, so when he was revealed, trust me, i was surprised but at the same time, i kind of had a mini clue. Ghost was everything, even when i wanted to hate him, i just couldn't.

This book was considerably different from the rest in the best way possible. It was dark and gripping, and we also got the parents joining the feud, which i wasn't a big fan of how it turned out, but it definitely brought the fun out. And honestly the moment Blaine came up, i was ready to lick my screen because this man has a special spot in my heart. I cannot wait to read his Orion's book because if he's anything like his dad, I know i'll fall in love.
And Silas, from Boys who hunt, I knew he was insane, but in this one, without a doubt he's Felix's son because he was uncontrollable, and i enjoyed every moment.

Another thing i love about Clarissa is how even though this can be read as a standalone, she's already teasing and hinting about the next book. And honestly I need patience because I already know the next book will be a hit!

Thank you so much to the author for providing me this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

LOVED the ghost aspect and obsession. Loved having the girl being a part of the family. Aspen was a good FMC.

Oh Levi. Be still my heart. Fuck that man is deep, dark and beautiful. Hell yes this is a love story of the ages. Seriously the entire story should have been about him and Aspen and it would have been SO MUCH BETTER.
Honestly he’s been my favorite MMC so far besides Ares. So authentic and perfect :)

Cons:
I didn’t like Apollo. He started off by saying he has lusted after her for years- hence why he bulked out so Aspen would notice him. He never said I love you to her. Never acted like she was important to him at all, except as a fuck toy- which he mentions. Multiple times. I really didn’t like his role in it. He just wanted his play things. Also hated he kept over looking Levi and Aspens relationship. Super f’ing selfish.
Also where was Ares and Crystal?! So weird that their son was a MMC and they never came to help with any of the brawls but Kai and Dylan showed up.

I also really didn’t like Grey. He started off so amazing and a great support for Aspen. Then Apollo came in to the picture and did a complete 180 sub position and Aspen became 2nd. He simped and his pleasure came before hers with his bi-awakening. Really hated him in the end. Also how did she forgive his pervy ways so quick?!

I absolutely devoured this book. I already loved every other spine ridge university book but this one has topped it. I really enjoyed some of the tropes we haven’t seen before, the underlying love story/ Romeo and Juliet mixed with the why choose element made for great reading.

Ghost? Who is Ghost? It had me in a chokehold (like the rest of this entire book) at one point I thought I would have to throw my kindle out the window if we didn’t find out who it was 😂🫣.

The characters in this book were superb ; I loved how different all the MMC’s personalities were and what can we say about Aspen besides absolute Badass who is her father’s daughter 😉.

I laughed (mainly at one particular man who charisma to make you swoon and is as vain as they come😂) i squealed with excitement , I cried , full on ugly crying and loved every single minute of it all.

All I can say is 10/10 phenomenal addition to the series and please hurry up with the next instalment because I cannot cope with that ending 🙃😂.

These boys can taint me anytime ;)
I am always so excited to read a Spine Ridge University book and this one was no different.
It was such a wild freaking ride with twists and not knowing what to believe. My brain was in knots trying to figure out who ghost was and what actually happened to Mavis.
There’s so many little details that need to be paid attention to.
I kept going back and forth on who ghost was and ultimately I just had to keep reading because I still didn’t have a final answer until it was revealed lol.
Those last few chapters had me so anxious and my heart was literally racing! So much was happening and I was literally screaming at my kindle cause I was scared of what was going to happen.
The spice was sooooo good. Always love Clarissa’s spice scenes.
Also….another cliffhanger ending! I’m going to go crazy lol. Clarissa really keeping up on our toes with this legacy series haha. I can’t wait for the next book.

60 highlights later - The way this book had me in a chokehold. The suspense, mystery, laughs, heartbreaks.. just complete CHAOS!

I am never ever disappointed when it comes to a Clarissa Wild read. It’s just an amazing journey that will keep you either guessing or at the edge of your seat and the spice.. is always spicing 😏

I will give nothing away but say, these boys surely do drive me crazy and our girl aspen is a firecracker. The rollercoaster towards the end was just c r a z y !

I couldn’t put this down and it’s a must read especially if you’ve loved our other boys.

I swear Clarissa is a pure freaking genius.
The way this book has you in a chokehold from the begging. It literally keeps you hanging on and when you think you have it all figure out she puts you on another twist. The way I screamed, cried, was made as hell talking about I hate this book for making me cry like this at work. 🤣🤣
Then she gives you more that has you questioning your own sanity.

I highly recommend this book if you like your men unhinged and a FMC to match their energy.

I can’t wait for the next book.

“Because you’re like a firefly in the night. I can’t take my eyes off you until I find you."- Levi

This book broke my heart in a million pieces and then healed it back together better.

---------------------------------

I'm reading the ARC, and I'm sitting here crying, trying to hide it from my husband(because I hate that books make me cry!!). I had to look at him for something, and he said, "OH MY GOD, ARE YOU OK?"

Yall, I was trying to power through some really sad chapters(after 50% in) to get back to the happy place that I was just letting it flow. I'm not sure I want to know what I looked like. 💀

Aspen, Levi, Apollo and Gray's story is so emotional, spicy, beautiful did I mention spicy?

Apollo had me giggling and rolling my eyes because he is SO conceited and can get a little snarky. He's just a big ole lovebug that can bash heads in when needed.

He's been friends Levi and Aspen since childhood. The flashbacks are adorable, the swing scene IYKYK.

Gray becomes obsessed with Aspen the first time he sees her on campus and maybe takes it a little too far.

What can I say about Aspen and Levi? I just love them. They frustrated the hell out of me,  like just wanna slap them and make them open up and talk kind of way. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I'll leave it at that.

porn with a bad plot

I was excited when I read there would be twists and turns but I predicted the main one from the very beginning. Not to mention the reasoning/motivations for most things was weak, and the conflict contrived.

The other two MMCs have no depth/personality besides being obsessed with FMC (though their sexual personalities ARE fun) and FMC *ALSO* has no depth/personality. Levi was the best representation of an actual person because some of his emotions felt like they came from somewhere real. Still, that reality wasn’t actually explained in a way that justified it.

I didn’t regret reading, per se, but it’s forgettable and nothing I would recommend. Author would shine in porn *without* plot. (Though the smut did get a little repetitive and predictable too, in the end.)

PS: The bike scene at the end… I asked three different people to read it and none of us could figure out the positioning, so that was confusing.
