It's a simple story with characters that lace together very well. There was some mild confusion during my reading about timeframes, but I can easily see this book as a short movie. In fact, it might be better as a short film, rather than a book.
But I enjoyed myself. It's a fast read with realistic feeling characters over a topic that I'm sure not a lot of people know about. "Illegal Furniture" is a phrase that left a charming impression. lol

I really wanted to like this book. It was an easy read, but I had a hard time finishing it because it was overall boring and just kind of poorly written.
