The book that you now hold in your hands contains the summary of messages preached in the Kabwata Baptist Church pulpit from November 1999 to May 2001. They were part of a lengthier series preached across Paul’s epistle to the Colossians during the church’s evening services.
The messages in this book cover a wife’s submission to her husband, a man’s loving headship over his wife, children’s obedience to their parents, and a father’s discipline over his children. These topics are vital and foundational to the wellbeing of the Christian family.
This book is helpful to single and married people because we all live in homes. It is especially helpful to those who are still young in their marriage and want to ensure that they get things right from the start. If you put the principles enunciated in this book into practice, you will have what it takes to run your marriage and family in a God-glorifying way, and that is ultimately what matters!
