The Mary Han video/theory led me to this purchase. I do think there’s a good chance Taylor Swift is the author. It was so easy for me to imagine these lines as lyrics in TTPD.

But- regardless of whether she is the true author or not- I REALLY enjoyed this book. I will be purchasing everything under this name. I was constantly stopping to write down lines in my notebook of inspiration/quotes that resonate with me.

I particularly loved Severed Roots, Distant Shores, Better off Alone, Footsteps, Eroded Shorelines, Time Brings Relief, and Leftover Love. 💗

Bravo Noelle Sorensen, whoever you may be.

There were a few standout poems: library book, escapism, and leftover love. Some though were so bland and cliche that it lost a star from me.

If Taylor didn’t write this book, she should probably sue the author for stealing her lyrics!

I don't know how this could possibly be someone other than TS when they'd do many parallel themes in ttpd and this was published before ttpd.

Your story is also mine. Thank you. Poetry can help us pave our path through uncertainty. Thank you. Thank you for giving me hope of being the main character.

I don’t read much poetry but I can say that I really enjoyed reading these poems. I think the themes within perfectly encapsulated that feeling of knowing your relationship is over before it truly ends. You can tell that this relationship was everything to the author as we go through the book because the relationship is kind of represented as almost anything and everything you could think of from coffee and keychains to storms and ocean waves. I don’t know if it’s Taylor for sure, but there are definitely some similarities here

This falls into the same trap that a lot of more modern poetry does where it becomes so repetitive and mundane. There were some standouts in the collection but I wish there had been more.

this book really walks you through the challenges of losing someone you share a life with. the parts that continue to be empty in their wake, the memories that seem to haunt every moment of your freedom and every feeling in between. this is a great read for anyone wanting to read into poems!

It's an okay read, and I think I picked this up because of the ties with the Taylor Swift Album. I can't tell you if she actually wrote this but a lot of the themes were nice to read at the time of my break-up.

This book uses a lot interesting metaphors. It’s engaging with a cohesive theme.

my soul absorbed these poems.

At best, I found a book written by Taylor Swidr under a pseudo name.

But most likely it’s a book inspired by the work of Taylor Swift. Still a win.

One of the most detailed and well written books about healing after a toxic relationship.

Truly just the title was intriguing as it was a Taylor Swift lyric. This is a book of poetry about a relationship ending. Many of the words have similarities to Taylor Swift songs. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the greatest poetry I’ve ever read. Would be better set to music and sung!
