In her fourth exhilarating adventure, unorthodox and charismatic sleuth, Isabel Flores, investigates whether the grisly balcony fall of a famous local opera singer is a tragic suicide or, as she suspects, a case of murder. Meanwhile, in her own mountain village of Sant Marti, elderly homeowners are dying in mysterious circumstances while a newly arrived estate agent is receiving anonymous death threats. With sinister forces at play and the clock ticking, Isabel, and pet ferret, Furó, once again join Chief of police, Tolo Cabot, in setting out to uncover the truth before more lives are lost.
This is the 4th book in Isabel Flores Mallorcan Mystery and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Anna Nicholas has been for many years my favourite writer and Mallorca is my favourite island. So this was again great entry in the serie. The book is very well written and is worth reading. I hope Anna Nicholas will write and publish next book in this serie.
Another wonderful story in this great series. The plot is well constructed and the pace is perfect for keeping you turning pages. The descriptions of the locations will strike a deep chord with anyone that knows Mallorca and you will probably recognise some of the characters as well, all of whom are created and crafted with more than a slight smile. I loved this even more than the previous three stories and I'm looking forward to more ... soon please?
Another great book in this series. Anna Nicholas is the only author I will preorder without even reading the blurb. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for the next book.
