If you’re looking for a fast paced fantasy type book well novella that doesn’t involve huge world building etc etc and basically is plot based to the point. This is what this book is. I did find the magic system interesting because I’ve not came across that type before, the guild assassins again interesting plot, the idea of being cursed all that was good… but I am a reader that thrives on massive world building I like to delve in so deep that I’m emotionally invested,.. I could not do this here…. But that is a me thing on what I prefer.. but for a fast paced fantasy novella it’s decent..
