Do you see them? ...They’re everywhere! And they’re affecting you, whether you realize it or not.

Liminal spaces!

Liminal spaces are those uncomfortable, in-between places we all a doctor’s office waiting room, hallways, elevators – even seasonal shifts and phases of the moon. Most importantly, though, periods and times of life that lead us through transition… when the diagnosis comes in, when you leave a home or join a community, when you start something new – times when the touchstone has been removed and you have crossed from the known to the unknown.

The fact is - most of us are juggling multiple transitions or changes at any one time! Emotional, physical, spiritual, psychological… It can be unsettling, disorienting, and triggering. Liminality can make you feel like you’re a bit crazy. You’re not crazy. And you’re not alone, friend!

In this compassionate, encouraging quick-read, CA Jalonen holds her reader’s hand along a journey of self-discovery and transformation to not only help them see the liminal life they lead, but how they are responding to it, and what they can do to lead a more flexible, self-compassionate, and connected life of authenticity. This book is for anyone who feels like they have tried all the things, are at the end of their rope, and stuck!

“If you feel confused by your responses and reactions to life on a regular basis, or even if you think everything is “fine” (our new 4-letter F-word!), but deep down you know something is just not quite right, I want to tell you there is a better way to live. And I can’t wait to show you how!”
~ CA Jalonen

After years of researching liminality and applying the concepts in this book to her own profound life changing transformation of self-discovery, CA Jalonen is quickly becoming the leader in viewing personal growth through the lens of liminality.

This quick read helped me look honestly at various transitions in my life, and to identify mindsets and patterns of behavior that are not serving me well. I feel encouraged to stop striving for the one “right way” to move forward. I will approach liminal spaces/phases with openness to “both/and” thinking, and consideration of how various paths might look. The author writes with a relatable style, making a complex concept accessible and practical. I know I will return to particular sections of this book over and over as I move forward through transitions to come.

This book contains the message I need at the moment I am ready to embrace it. I feel like the author took my hand to lead me forward on a path I have just begun. This book is accessible, practical—full of hope and encouragement, and interspersed with humor. Her authenticity shines through the story, and she makes me believe I can find the freedom she found.
