Eh. Just an okay book. I felt like this story was kind of pointless, I do like the cover though, he looks like Can Yaman.
This is pretty much what happens, she's In a relationship with this older guy that she loves, she gets kidnapped by a MC because of her brother's debt to them, she is told. She is kept at the clubhouse and treated badly by almost everyone. There is Club W drama (wasn't annoying, just the characters themselves were), some more drama, her and the H hate each other but the heroine tries to seduce him. Another MC guy wants a go at her, she would have to because there is no claim on her, the hero is just about to let them, but she calls him a coward, he ends up claiming her, has sex with her, then lets a Club W sit on his lap right after to show he is in control (he doesn't do anything though). Heroine doesn't put up with it, some more boring stuff happens.
Then the heroine has to get branded since she is in the club, literally branded. The hero makes her and has no remorse, even one of the other MC members are in a relationship and won't claim his girlfriend because he loves her and isn't a monster, unlike everyone else who almost made it seem like a good thing to go through with it. More stuff happens, she finds out the older guy she was with is the hero's dad, and that the real reason the hero took her was because he was pretty much jealous since his dad had abused him when he was younger and he was in a happy relationship now, but he used the excuse of he didn't want her to be another "victim" of the dads. He says that, and yet at the club house she is treated worse than when she was with the dad. More stuff happens, they break up, she is about to get into a car with a guy the hero finds her and is mad about that, they eventually get back together, the end. All the gaps in between was pretty much stories or drama between Club Ws, wives, and past members, such as one about the previous dead prez cheating on his wife with a mistress the whole time, so she cheats back and gets preggo, then the prez eventually makes the guy leave, and she talks about how much she gets along with the mistress of the dead prez and she understands why he had to cheat🙄It was mainly stuff like that, and it was all pretty dull.
The writing, especially the dialogue was cheesy and immature. All the characters had low IQs and no personality. Every one apparently only knows how to scream what they are saying when they talk. So many insults back and forth, it proved how dumb they were, especially most of them being "b*tch or sl*t". Usual club whore drama, though this time, luckily, the H wasn't a flat out manwhore, still not that smart though.
Most characters were overly aggressive all the time and I got annoyed of it. The heroine wasn't great, but I did like how she stood up for herself and actually had a sex life and a guy she was in love with, with the heros dad no less (my pettiness is showing because I liked that). The hero isn't a full manwhore, still club W drama, and he does some stupid shiz, but I also liked how possessive he was when they were actually together.
After I read this I realized I read this author before and actually DNFed her, and it is mainly due to the writing, just not for me. She does have one duet that I actually wanted to read, but after this, not too sure I will.
