this was quite fun but definitely not for me. it's too unserious, the characters don't have firm personalities (they switch moods SO quickly) and overall it's basic. just about game youtubers having wild imaginary event.
Read with my son. Fun art and story. Nothing too deep but also nothing vulgar or inappropriate. Good for encouraging reading in the YouTube generation.

My children are pretty big fans of Lankybox so I was excited to receive an ARC of this book. Thank you Lankybox, Net Galley and Harper Collin's Children's Books- Harper Alley for selecting me.
We sat down as a family this afternoon and read it through and my kids definitely enjoyed it. The illustrations were eye catching, the storyline caught and held their attention from start to finish and they did a really good job crafting an exciting plot while still teaching important lessons.
We'll be adding this to our collection when it releases!
3 1/2 Stars Justin and Adam are out to get more donuts when they are kidnapped by the Masked Man who wants them to teach him how to be the best YouTuber ever. After realizing that Justin and Adam have been kidnapped, Foxy, Boxy, and Rocky set out on an adventure to find their missing friends.
The plot of LankyBox Epic Adventure! is pretty ridiculous, but in all the silliness, there is a fun narrative with enjoyable characters and an entertaining story. Overall, Lankybox: Epic Adventure! is a fast paced read with a satisfying conclusion.
This book is uninteresting and full of dull humor and the characters are constantly talking and it’s so unrealistic that even in a different galaxy this couldn’t happen so it’s a very trash book and i think it is way too expensive in store so only read it digitally but for little kids they can have this junk I don’t think anybody should want this but I think it isn’t worth the money but if a small child is a fan of LANKYBOX go buy this if you want junk.🤮
Their friends have a hard journey to stand up for their friends. They went through so much. In fact, Boxie almost got eaten, luckily Rockie saved her. And the people they passed, like the grumpy troll, they made them better people. And the better people helped them get to their friends, so it was good.

I had fun reading it together with my 7 year old son. I enjoyed the themes of being brave despite being scared, and how being positive and sharing are much better ways to make friends than being selfish and rude.

I like this book because I like Lankybox I don’t like this book because I don’t like how there is a bad guy try to steal them I don’t like bad guys, and it looks like lankybox box is gone forever
It was a good book. But the next 1's gonna be even better! :D ;P ;D. Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Yeah Lankybox in da house
Another J level graphic novel that could probably be supported by kids around ages 9-12, but not any substance or quality that would make it enjoyable for ages outside of that range.
I was prepared for this to be annoying and hard to read because there are so many YouTube star type things floating around but I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and growth mindset pieces woven into the story. With lots of kids preferring graphic novels, this is one worth adding to the library shelves.
A big thanks to NetGalley and Harpercollin's for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
A fun graphic novel, perfect for fans!
LankyBox: Epic Adventure! by Lankybox is a graphic novel geared to the fanbase of YouTube sensations LankBox. One day, Justin gets super hungry and orders a box of doughnuts. But instead of getting delicious fried pastries, they get kidnapped! And it's up Foxy, Rocky, and Boxy to save them!
This was an adorable graphic novel, that kept me entertained. It worked perfectly for it's comedy and ability to create escapism.
This was hilarious it will be the favorite of many of different ages. Suitable for really young readers and fun for older also. I laughed a lot with the villain and he's my favorite character. And I can relate to him a lot. Not in the kidnapping ahahah. He kidnaps two big YouTubers and wants them to teach him how to become a super youtuber as well, but it's not about secrets, it's about being positive and being part of the community. I love that so many of the villain's complaints are ours (little fish on the internet). It's nice that this graphic novel shows a positive side to the internet. They give a lot of tips and tell what being a YouTuber really is (in general). At the same time, there's a fun epic quest/adventure by the other three characters Foxy, Boxy, and Rocky who are set to rescue their YouTubers. Also... dragon. ahaha. Great ending. Thank you NetGalley and Publisher for this eArc.
I felt secondhand embarrassment while reading this book. It was a piece of GARBAGE. The two main characters were absolutely insufferable with the amount of times they said "bro" or "dude" or "yo" (did they take a lesson from those teenagers in Avatar 2??). The lighthearted mood they were in when they were kidnapped was so off-putting. If you were kidnapped and put in the back of a van for however long, would you be saying, "Yo, how far did we drive? Um, soooo... this is nuts" when you got out? I think not! Don't kill your brain cells reading this garbage! Please, spare your IQ points and go read something, ANYTHING else!
Later edit: Also, the art is painfully simple. If you're going to write a crappy script for a graphic novel, at least put in the effort to make it LOOK nice!
It feels like we are from some entirely another part of the universe, as I had never heard of anything Lankybox before! The book is cute, the drawings are adorable and cute, so cute! The story is not the most solid one and the characters are not with any real depth, but the storyline is fun, the adventures are fun, and the characters are fun, overall, the book is a fun and cute read. It may or may not make the reader wonder about popular YouTube creators and how come ones are popular and others aren’t. Most of all, the book is a fun read for those who need an easy and entertaining read. I’m sure this is a book that any child will enjoy after reading not-too-much-fun books for school.
