I liked it...It was good

What Lori meant for evil, God turned for good!
Having the kind of career Marissa had, must have been challenging and meeting the man she could not hope to have a future with must have been frustrating and traumatic. Thank God, things are not always as they seem! I was glad to see some old favorites make an appearance! Let's see, there was the couple from More than a Mistress, the CFO of Johnson Brewing's eateries The Brew Pub and IVY's, and accompanying her was her famous author husband! Naturally Bruno's famous siblings were in residence because there was a long awaited wedding taking place at the Connor-Santana Manor! If the vibes I picked up on are real, there may be some upcoming fireworks between Mama Rose and Papa Benicio! Overall, Bruno and Marissa's story had love, betrayal, unrequited love by Marissa's ex, greed and finally a happy ending for our illustrious couple and their respective high achieving siblings! This story was very well worth the wait. Okay Delaney now that I have read their story, you can go ahead and take that well deserved bow now! This story was so good! Kudos, kudos, kudos!!!!!

Listen, Delaney Diamond is doing her thing with this series! I’m loving this big clan and all their love and drama. Bruno’s story definitely didn’t disappoint. Bruno was that man and I was surprised Marissa held out as long as she did. This was quite the ride and I enjoyed every minute of it. I love how Delaney Diamond gave us a scorching hot love story, a peek into how the other half lives, and insight on the restaurant and matchmaking businesses. We also got some much-anticipated Benicio and Rose action. Oh, and we got to see some familiar faces, as well. Win, win, win!
Not sure yet what’s/who’s next, but trust that I’m eagerly looking forward to the next book in the series. Thanks for another great read, Ms. Diamond!

This was somewhat of an unconventional single mom forbidden romance. Bruno decided it’s time to find himself a wife and goes to a match maker who is recommended by a friend. Marissa is the match maker. Bruno meets with her for his consultation and he tells her his preferences for a wife. His biggest one is no single mothers! She begins setting him up with potential candidates but none of them seem to work out. As Bruno and Marissa get to know each other, their attraction grows. They can’t engage because it’s forbidden by the company and of course Marissa is a single mother. Well Bruno meets her kid and that doesn’t seem to be an issue. They end up disregarding the rules and get involved. Marissa and Bruno are just perfect. She is his perfect match and her son loves him too. Things get complicated when their relationship is exposed to Marissa’s ex and to her employer. Marissa doesn’t think that she can count on Bruno to hold her down when the going gets tough. She minimizes her importance to him but he shows her that she can count on him. He shows her that he loves her and he loves Theo, her son.
This was a beautiful love story about taking chances and realizing that there is no checklist for the perfect mate or relationship. Sometimes the best person for you shows up when and where you least expect it. I loved the book.

Bruno
This was a pretty good book from beginning to end. It was different than the stories that I’m used to with Bruno having a preference for blonds despite being raised by a black woman and having black sisters. I will say that I did appreciate the fact that Bruno said he doesn’t discriminate when it comes to liking all types of women. I also loved how Bruno was not about to back down on his feelings for Marissa and made sure he showed her he enjoyed spending time with her and that he needed and wanted her in his life not only for a good time but for a long time.
Marissa was a bit stuck in her ways, but I liked that she finally allowed herself to embrace her attraction to Bruno and spend time with him and develop a relationship with him. I do wish she had asked Bruno questions about her concerns instead of just going with the flow, especially when she started to catch feelings for him. I think that would have helped with her self preservation even better by know in that he saw forever with her.
Marissa and Bruno were cute together and I enjoyed their chemistry and that r they could talk to each other. There was a part of the book with Bruno’s parents that felt like filler because it came out of nowhere, but all in all I enjoyed this story. I would rate this a 3.75/5 stars.

Fate changes everything
Marisa loved her job being a match maker. She had not found her forever love, and somewhat doubted he existed. Bruno was hard on the idea that true love was a real thing. He knew he wanted to share his life and accomplishments with someone and have a couple of children. His brother suggested a match making service. Little did either know their lives would change forever. Marisa had some things to work through but Fate had other plans. Great read with the Santana family again.

I usually read a Delaney Diamond on release day but since I was traveling, I was delayed. BABY it was worth the wait! I saw where this train was headed the minute Bruno was so stalwart in his wants. I was like... watch... he's gonna meet a woman that is nowhere what he was looking for but everything he needs. There's a twist in this book that I did not see coming! Well done!

I thoroughly enjoyed the book, family first, love and how love can open your heart to accept the inevitable. Life is God's time, not ours so we must allow our hearts to show us. I'm just going to say it—how hard is it to love a billionaire that's smart, sexy, attractive, good in bed and very generous with his credit card? Exactly, not difficult at all. 🤣
Bruno Santana (Billionaire Chef Extraordinaire) isn't having much luck (really?) in the dating department, so he decides he wants a wife so his brother suggests a professional matchmaker which leads him to Executive Match Inc. and to his personal matchmaker Marissa Liburd. He finds her attractive, but she steers the conversation to what he's looking for in a companion so she can create his dossier. Bruno is the fourth book in Delaney Diamond’s Family Ties series. One of the nicest things about reading one of Ms. Delaney’s books is catching up with characters from other books/series as they flit across the pages (Latin Men, Johnson Family to name two). Bruno is wealthy, charming and devastatingly handsome. He has a diverse family and wonderful eclectic businesses. However, for all his blessings he does not have that one companion to spend his time with. With advice from his brother, he seeks out a matchmaker. Marissa has only loved one man in her lifetime, and he betrayed her in the most egregious way possible. All that is left of that relationship is regret and her amazing son. Working as a matchmaker is the closest she comes to a fulfilling relationship. When Bruno and Marrissa meet for his matchmaking session, they both feel the pull of attraction but know that they can’t act on these feelings. I really enjoyed this slow burn romance. They both tried to not act on their attraction, but love had other plans. Bruno was so wonderfully patient and giving as he tried to understand her position AND support and nurture the life they could have!

The physical attraction between Bruno Santana, successful restauranter and Marissa Liburd, professional matchmaker, jumped off the pages. The only problem is Marissa is Bruno’s professional matchmaker, but he’s only interested in her! There is plenty of sexy and flirtatious banter by Bruno. Marissa stays as professional as she can under the circumstances (there is a strict no dating policy at her company), but the attraction is mutual. This was a pager turner and I was interested to see how Ms. Diamond would resolve their dilemma.
It was good to see characters from prior books sprinkled throughout. This includes a brief appearance by Ivy Johnson from The Johnson Family series. There were also updates from rest of the Santana and Connor clan, including the side story related to the parents. He wanted her back so they could be a family, but he ruined any chance of that by his own infidelity. I believe he really loved her, but it was too late for them. Bruno had grown tired of the dating scene and wanted a wife. After taking advice from his brother and reluctantly connecting with a dating service, he met Marissa, the matchmaker. At first sight of her, Bruno was pleased with her physical appearance. He was also honest about his true attractions and intentions for a wife. Marissa also found Bruno attractive but remained professional and dedicated to finding him a mate.
The characters had great chemistry and were believable as a couple. I enjoyed watching their relationship develop and their ultimate triumph over a few bumps in the road to happiness. The story was well-written and kept me entertained throughout. I would highly recommend it to others.

This was book number four in the amazing Family Ties series by author Delaney Diamond! This is Bruno’s story and I have been anticipating reading about Bruno Santana after he appeared in the other books of this series. Bruno’s story did not disappoint! It was excellently written, had great storytelling and fantastic characters! It was engaging, entertaining and sexy! I loved Bruno’s character in his own book. The instant attraction between him and Marissa was hot and steamy! They complimented each other well and I appreciated Bruno’s relationship with Theo! Great read with a romantic and thoughtful love story with lots of heat! I would highly recommend this story and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author!

This was a great book! The story was interesting from beginning to end, and I loved the characters! Bruno's character is a woman's dream. He's bossy but sensitive, he's handsome and arrogant but he's also patient and loving. Marissa also had it going on! She took control of her life after a bad situation with her ex-fiancée and worked to achieve her dreams for herself and her son. I haven't read the other books in this series, but it didn't prevent me from thoroughly enjoying this book and understanding the dynamics of the other couples mentioned in Bruno's story.

This was a lovely read about mature people who have checked off things on their life to-do list, but found they might have one or two to go. I liked that about Marissa and Bruno. There were some surprises in life still to come, even if you think you have the exact cookie-cutter worked out.
They were just truly two decent people that found their way to each other with seriousness, thoughtfulness and an ability to adjust to their changing situation. I appreciated the reality and maturity of things; and the actual love story of it all.

I loooooved Bruno! I used to love the millionaire matchmaker tv show so the element of Marissa being a matchmaker was really fun to me. All of his match dates and check-ins were an interesting way to introduce her and Bruno getting to know each other. Everything about Bruno exuded sophistication but he was still really chill. There was good push and pull without being over the top or annoying. I love how both Marisa and Bruno had hangups but naturally changed each others mind. Nothing about them felt forced, it was just really cute but mature romance.

More to come I hope! Bruno caught my attention in the first chapter! Finding your true love is so important! Because settling for someone you respect and not love, is a dismal life! Living with someone you do not love you stop and think, why did I do this! And you are stuck with many years passed! I think that is why so.many women love Romance Books! They live the life of the character they are reading about! This author is outstanding, now I am ready for the next book! You will not be disappointed!

IT WAS SO GOOOOD. The drama the romance everything. Marissa should have gotten back at a certain secretary. Loved Marissa and Bruno. But the REAL star of the show is theoooo. sweetest.
It was well written the characters were so easy to love and root for. In terms of pace especially with books with such a strong plot it was a perfect pace where your so immersed . Half the time I forgot I was reading.

Heartfelt, emotional and steamy romance. Great build-up, undeniable mutual attraction and chemistry. Love their mutual ambition and career aspirations despite the financial levels. Taking a chance is costly but Bruno is more than determined, love that about him and love that they are both mature characters with big hearts.
