I've known my whole life that I would settle down in the same small town I grew up in. My two best friends were right there with me as we planned our futures before taking off to college. What I didn't expect was for my college fling to become pregnant and when she tried to give our baby up for adoption, I just couldn't go through with it. Paisley is my life. I might not be rich, have the job I wanted, or the life I thought I'd have by this age, but what I do have is so much more. Giving up relationships, wasn't hard. I'm not willing to risk anyone hurting my baby girl. She's had it hard enough with a mom who doesn't really want to be a mom and with her slow fading hearing. I'm committed to my vow to remain single, until Megan shows up. The new gym owner is everything I ever wanted in a woman, but I can't let her in. It's for the sake of my baby.

But how do I resist a woman who works out harder than I do, can hang with my friends, and can sign to my daughter?

She's slipped in somehow and now I have to figure out how I can keep her without completely ruining everything.

This is a dual POV, first person, present tense novel that can be read as a standalone or with the entire trilogy. There are explicit scenes and mature language, making this unsuitable for children. The child in the story is losing her hearing and all of the main characters use and discuss ASL on page. This book was read by several sensitivity readers, but if anything in the story is offensive, please let me know, as it was not my intention.

Olivia Palloc is a pen name that I use to publish under. I am a small town girl, born and raised. Reading and writing has been a passion of mine from a young age.
I am married with two beautiful children, and I love the life that we have.

Spicy, small town, single dad finds love. Harley is an ass to put it nicely. But he is an ass with a purpose. He'll do anything to protect his little girl and not let anybody get in the way of him being there for her. Megan just moved into town and although she doesn't know much about running a gym, she bought one anyways. She likes to do things for herself and not ask for help in the meantime. Harley is torn between wanting to keep her far away and wanting to be as close to her as possible. Megan's tough girl vibes get tested to a breaking point. This was a wonderful story and I loved every second of it.
