When Witches Dance: A Beltane Special

Rate this book
After an endless winter and too much bloodshed, Kitt Meissa is second guessing her decision to get married this Mayday. It's not that she doesn't love her fiance, Lindsey Carbon, but that their lives have been turned upside down in the past few months. With Quentin and Elochian in recovery, Arlo and team working with the new witches, and Tobias' double Clan duties, it seems like the last thing everyone needs is a wedding. But perhaps a wedding is exactly what everyone needs. Friends and family gathered together to celebrate the beginning of something new, at the beautiful island that opens its heart to all.Organizing said event in a little more than a month, however, will prove to be tricky business. Especially when the Meissa family visits from out of town, and the Carbon family has some traditional ideals they want upheld. Will the families come together to make their loved one's day special, or will they only bring chaos? If there is one thing you can count on, it's dancing. And when witches dance, their footsteps reverberate throughout the world, beckoning the lost and weary with every strike of the heel and toe to find joy in something ordinary. When Witches Dance takes place after the end of Matsdotter of Adrastus, the second book in the Adventures in Levena series.

This was such a good follow up to Matsdotter and Adrastus, taking part between the last chapter and the epilogue.

For such a short book there is A LOT in there and I loved every page.

We have heartache and grief, magic, friendship, Beltane, dancing, maypoles, THE WEDDING, and some of the best lesbian spice I have ever read!

But now I’m sad because I’m all up to date with the Levena series and I miss my friends already!

I can’t wait for the next instalment!
