After giving the god Fei Shen her promised first night, Mashiro is adamantly pursued by her three other celestial suitors. However, her doctor Eve, appears to scheme behind the scenes, and though Oma is suspicious of her plans, he can only keep a watchful eye. Regardless, Eve's plan to sour Mashiro's other relationships strikes, yet her actions only serve to bring Mashiro closer to Oma. However, upon return to the castle, Mashiro is confronted with an angry Alfred... Has Eve's poking successfully harmed Mashiro's bond with her angel suitor?
Still the dumbest series I'm reading (with some stiff competition), but I kinda want to know how it'll end and I do appreciate its commitment to being an actual reverse harem.
2.5* I know this series is kinda trash and I've been here for it from the start. But. This volume was a mixed bag. The oni's continuation was nice since he kinda got short-changed in 'his' volume. I like that he's showing some political savvy too, especially when it comes to Eve's machinations.
Then there's Alfred. Fuck that guy. He's so annoying, and I'm not here for his lactation kink. This volume seemed to rush the external plot the series had been building, which made the whole thing go by in a bit of a whirlwind. I'd have liked less smut, more time for some of the plot stuff and character development to actually have space to develop.
would've been a 3.5 or 4 without alfred - what a whiny little bitch lol. guilt-tripping mashiro and expecting her to run away with just him? no thanks.
fei shen is surprisingly great though!

Is this volume shorter than the others or did I speed read it so fast because it was an improvement from the last volume? 🤔 Ugh, now I have to wait for volumes to come out 🫠
