"Dying and Living for Allah: The Last Will of Khurram Murad" is essentially a wake up call, not just to his kith and kin, but all the Muslims. This Will is a "nasihah" - advising, commending and enjoining a life based on loyalty to Allah, striving for the akhira and being particular to one's responsibilities towards others.

One of the best books I've read in a long time. Ustadh Khurram Murad's final book and the words are written such that they go deep into the reader's heart. The actual book starts from page 31 onwards,
I highly recommend everyone read it.

Do not say anything which is against the spirit of rida bil-qada (total acceptance what Allah has decreed). Do not resort to lamentation and bemoaning.

The causes that appear before our eyes are only a means of realization of His will.

Praise and gratefulness will make scales tilt heavily in your favor.

Never try to find justifications for your wrong actions.

Do not hurt a creature, especially a human being.
And if you were to violate others’ rights, obtain their forgiveness here in this world or else you’ll be left absolutely destitute and bankrupt on the Day of Judgment.

Keep your mouth shut about others except when you speak well of them.

What do you loose if someone backbites or gossips against you?
You do not loose anything by forgiveness.

Be quick in seeing forgiveness.

When it comes to shortcomings and sins, give others greater allowance than you would give yourself.

Perpetual charity- a person starts to do a good deed because of your inspiration.

Consider not any act of goodness too small, nor one of evil too trivial.

Allah has right over your intellect.

True success is the success of Hereafter. You have to decide on this once and for all. The earlier you do this, the better.

Peep into your heart and see what is the place of Allah therein. The same shall be your place before him.

A day will come when people will confess their sins; and confess them with pangs of regret and say: If only we had listened and understood.

If He rejects you, who shall be more contemptible than yourself?

Repentance and yearning, yearning and repentance: this is the total harvest of life.

A bit similar to "50 Candles to Light Your Path" and "Letters to a Young Muslim". A great will and reminder for us all to relocate our focus on how to conduct our life.

MashaAllah ini bagus banget banget. Awal awal agak takut bacanya karna topik "death" agak kuhindari takut panic attack kumat. Dan akhirnya penulis ingin memberikan 'something that last for a long time"; amal jariyah.
