This book had so many tropes and I loved it. The couple was incredible but also so frustrating. Though interesting it says it's an enemies to lovers but I'd argue it's more friends to lovers. The two loved each other for so long but because of trauma they just won't confess and if they do they deny it. The FMC is such a badass and I'm so glad she got everything she wanted even if she didn't know what it really was. Our MMC was such a a sweet Dom and paired so well with our girl who he has lived for so long. I'm so thankful the two of them found peace and were able to find their balance. The actual plot was slightly confusing at first but made more sense as the book went on and our poor girl barely had a break after the 50% mark. I can't wait to see what happens to the next brother.

Gia needs to realize there's more to life than being the boss!
Gia has always stood by her brother's side and helped him with whatever he needed. But her dream was to be the boss too and rule along side her brother. When Sal came into her life she started feeling things toward him that she thought might jeopardize her becoming the boss one day. She felt if she explored a relationship with Sal she would just be seen as the woman by his side and not the boss she wanted to be. It didn't matter that she loved him and he treated her like a queen, because she felt being with anyone would make her seem like less. When His finds out she's pregnant with Sal's baby she doesn't even tell him and then agrees to marry another man to avoid conflict. I get where Gia is coming from but she really makes me mad throughput this book because she's so darn selfish and can't see what's right in front of her until Sal takes control and makes her see him for the great man he truly is!

I get easily bored by non-commitment. Like you don’t want to marry or do any of this relationship stuff but then pregnant and boom you keep the baby? I don’t understand.

Oh my... First off, I was so ecstatic when I got my hands on this second book in this series as I'd been waiting to read Gia and Sal's story.
When we met them in Elio and Catarina's book, I was so intrigued to see them together. Especially when that ending in the previous book indicated them going separate ways.
Ohhh.... So we are smack dab pushed into an Action-packed ride right from the start and it definitely made for an exciting ride.
It makes sense though as Gia is someone who gives off female don vibes and Sal is like a panther, silently prowling and fiercely dangerous too.
Sal joins Gia in her secret quest to find Marco and what happened to him. Whilst actually having to attend business with Russians, Sal is her acting bodyguard but when things take a horrible turn, Sal and Gia somehow become a part of something bigger and now whilst hiding have to also find out the root cause behind this accident.
As we go along with Sal and Gia to the beautiful city of Prague to a detour in Marseille to the wild oceans in a boat while the many surprises and twists pop up.
I think I was just wide-eyed when a new surprise twist happened and so nervous as to how these two will get out of this mess now.
Especially when enemies or so-called allies turn up unbeknownst and Gia and Sal have to use their wit to get out of tricky situations.
Add to this craziness, the boiling tension between Gia and Sal.
Sal is a great person but he also has clear boundaries and is crystal clear on what he wants and won't compromise on.
On the other hand Gia is such a Stubborn and Commitment phobic person.
I did get Gia's reservations as she wants to be the ruling supremacy and lead her family and for that she's ready to do anything and everything that'll lead her to her goals and help her survive no matter what the situation.
I really felt the tension between these two snapped tight like a rubber band and I couldn't wait for them to give into it and finally because when they do.... Explosive Chemistry for sure.🔥🔥
I really couldn't put this book down as it was jam packed with so much action and chase and run and crazy revelations and more secrets that needed answers....Ahhh I couldn't get enough of it.
Also, the sweet times with Elio and Catarina and their family was definitely a treat to watch.
We have so many new questions that have risen now especially about Marco and his secret.
But that ending in this book, about Marisol and Dino....oh my freaking goodness.... So many secrets and suspense that I can't wait to find out.
Be ready for a crazy wild ride. Absolutely loved loved this one.❤️❤️❤️❤️

VIVY SKYS has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Gia and Sal. Gia is part of a Mafia family. Her brother Elio is the boss but he is at home with his wife Carerina, who is about to have their twins. Gia is supposed to be in Amsterdam for a meeting but she is in Prague because she has a lead on Caterina's brother Marco who has gone missing. She gets a call from Elio and is told that he has sent a backup to her. She tells him that he doesn't know where she is but he said that the bodyguard will be to her hotel within the hour. When he shows up, she is shocked to see him. He wants to know why she is there. When she tells him the reason for her being in Prague, he tells her that it is not true that his brother Marco is dead. He tells her that he is there as her backup and they come up with a plan. Sal will do anything for Gia since he has feelings for her but she told him before that there can never be more between them. She wants to be boss and she knows that if she is with him, she can't. Things happen but not the way that Gia wants them to. Gia gets taken and it takes Sal everything he has to keep going in order to find her. When she is found, she is not in good shape. Before she was taken, she found out she was pregnant. The pregnancy is really bad for her to the point where she can't keep anything down. The person that took her takes her to the hospital but she is kidnapped from there.
Will Sal be able to find Gia before something happens to her again?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Even though the word ‘Love’ wasn’t in Gia’s vocabulary, as she had plans that involved the family, she was secretly attracted to Sal. When Sal was tasked to be Gia’s bodyguard, he thought he could hide his intense desire for her, but spending time in close proximity destroyed his willpower. Working together to find answers and a missing sibling, took them on a mission impossible journey, where they had to navigate the treacherous path to stay alive.
Unfortunately, just after Gia and Sal resolve the mystery, their lives were thrown into chaos, when Gia found herself in the middle of a battle she had no involvement in and Sal found himself out of sorts. Luckily, ‘The Family’ came together to rescue Gia, which made her finally acknowledge her true feelings for Sal, so they could get the chance at the happily ever after and for her to get the life she craved. I didn’t know what to expect from this story, but I can say without a shadow of doubt that every single page was a truly amazing reading experience. I am now looking forward to reading Dino and Marisol’s story.

They also suspect that there's someone else behind the murder of both their parents. Sal has tried to convince Gia that they would be great together, but she refuses to let anyone in because she doesn't want to give up her life. She's her brothers right-hand in the Mafia. She has a way about her to get information from the enemy. She can't do that if Sal is breathing down her neck.
Sal and Gia have to work together when they find out that Sal's oldest brother is missing and his other brother has turned over information that may ruin their entire family. Going undercover as a married couple brings them even closer than before, but then Gia gets kidnapped by a very powerful man who has decided that he'll be Marrying Gia. Gia had just found out she's pregnant, but if she doesn't agree to marry , it'll be a war they can't win, so she will have to say yes and hope Sal never finds out about the baby he'll never know.

It says this book is a standalone but it's not. You are thrown into what feels like the middle of the story with a lot that happened in the past that you don't understand. Maybe it happened in the other books but if not, then that just makes it even more of a mess. Some of it is explained but not most. The build up of the relationship seemed to have happened before the start of this book which is a huge missing piece.
Also the author just threw so much into this book it was just too much and because of that there seemed to be a lot missing. Several things just didn't make sense: geographically (pls look at a map), timeline wise (lots of time blocks that didn't line up), kids born a year apart being the same age all of a sudden, issues with some of the backstory and many other things happen that are never explained. Just a confusing story that could benefit from several more rounds of editing.
Also the author just threw so much into this book it was just too much and because of that there seemed to be a lot missing. Several things just didn't make sense: geographically (pls look at a map), timeline wise (lots of time blocks that didn't line up), kids born a year apart being the same age all of a sudden, issues with some of the backstory and many other things happen that are never explained. Just a confusing story that could benefit from several more rounds of editing.

Gia is on a secret mission to find out what has happened to Marco De Luca.
Her brother sends Elio sends Sal De Luca as her bodyguard.
Sal and Gia have history together.Gia turned him down and he left.Now he is back and as they spend time together they give into their chemistry as well.
They end up pretending to be married and go undercover so they can succeed in their mission.
Then Gia is kidnapped and Sal will do anything to save her.
They do end up falling in love and get to their happily ever after.
There is lots of danger,suspense,enemies steam,emotions,family,romance
and a happily ever after.
Cannot wait for Vivys next book.

MUST READ!!!! Fantastic!!! OMG this was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. It was spicy and mind blowing of how Sal was sent by Gia's brother to be her bodyguard to protected her. The drama of love, romance,mafia cartel, kidnapping, and more. Sal and Gia physical and chemistry was spicy and juicy hotness. Sal and Gia romance was sexual tension with an unexpecting pregnancy that will change her life forever. They were falling in love with each other. Mafia drama forever and it is the best emotional and romance love story.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was well written and had a good flow storyline. I like how all the characters were connected some how. Whether they were family or enemies or even friends and enemies. Crazy stuff but I did really enjoy it. I loved the mains characters of this book, Gia and Sal both very similar and both stubborn as hell. They sure played a good tug of war with each others hearts and feelings. Though I didn’t like the bit where Sal gave up, he came across as a bit of a wimp, when that’s not his character at all, considering he was a dom. Great book definitely recommend, bring on Dino’s book that’s going to be a good one too.

While book 2 was lacking, this one had it all! I loved every second and honestly think Gia and Sal's story is my favorite. It had so much drama, action, plot twists, and spice. All the details came together. Plus Gia and Sal as characters are hard to beat. Gia is such a good mix of ruthless, bad ass, and sweet. I love how Sal balances her out fully. He doesn't try and control her or diminish her, but helps balance the wildness that is her. I knew they would be perfect together after the first book. There was just so much left unsaid when it came to them both. It killed me when they couldn't admit their feelings. I was dying for them to get together. The ending wrapped it up well and their happily ever after. My favorite of the series and one of the best couples out of the mafia books!

Enemies & Common Goals
Gia and Sal are incendiary, literally. It seems whenever they're together, sparks fly either between or around them.
They both get in their own way a lot. Neither wants to give an inch but also have a fear that what they really want isn't possible in their world. They fight each other as much as they fight the forces trying to tear their families apart.
There are highs and lows and you'll need tissues with this installation like with the first, just not as many. There were more funny scenes than the first and I loved the wind-up and the coast downhill.
Looking forward to the 3rd installment and seeing how Dino handles his family.
Perhaps Marisol is the key to bringing peace to all the families- or maybe she's what brings the end????

There's no denying there's an attraction between these two, and there's no denying they have strong feelings for each other; sadly, especially for Gia, that's not enough. She wants to rule and lead and there's no place for Sal in this scenario. Sal doesn't agree but knows he's not going to be able to change her mind - or will he?
Another good book from this author, with a plotline that kept me engaged from beginning to end. I always enjoy catching up with characters from earlier books and this one was no different.

Sal and Gia. Hes her brothers underboss and her bodyguard. She is acting head of the Rossi family while her brother is on paternity leave. She cravews the power that the head of the family brings and shes very strong willed. This makes Sal wonder if they could ever be. He though knows to let her be what she wants when she wants wether it be strong or weak. Theirs is a great story full of mafia things like edge of your seat, cant put it down, excitment, danger, passion, lies, secrets and of course hidden villians to underscore events. Loved it.

Gia takes some getting used to but she grows on ya. She comes across like nothing bothers her and she is some vicious mafia don, but then with Sal she shows her softer side. There is total danger and intrigue in this book along side steam, love and obsession. Everyone seems to want to kidnap Gia and she is tired of it. She feels having a baby and getting married to Sal will make her appear soft and that she can not run the Rossi family syndicate. She learns she is wrong. I recommend this book to all dark mafia romance readers.

Good Book but....
This was a very well written book. The characters came alive on the pages. The world building was excellent.
I loved Sal so much, but I felt sorry for him the entire book. I just could not warn up to Gia. I'm all for a bad@ss FMC, but she was, in my opinion, totally selfish, self-centered, and spoiled. In plain English, I did not like her at all, and that took away some of my enjoyment of this particular book, hence my 4 star rating.
This is my first read by this author, and even though I didn't like Gia, I love Ms. Sky's writing so much, I'm on to read more of her books!

This is the third book in the Ruthless Mafia Kings series but can be read as a standalone. It won't take you long to get involved in the emotional romantic saga of Gia and Sal. As with most mafia romances, it's overflowing with drama, danger and suspense. A bodyguard, explosive chemistry, a surprise baby and more. This book is hard to put down and overflowing with page-turning drama. Well written with strong characters, a great storyline and an HEA you'll love. Gia and Sal's story has everything! I am enjoying the author's Mafia (Enemies to Lovers series) and this story picks up nicely while having it's own HEA as well. There is so much action throughout the book. All Gia wants is to lead and protect her family...and of course she wants Sal but refuses to admit it. Sal is also a very strong character whose job seems to be getting Gia out of jams! He also seems to have a very specialized talent.... The two of them are meant for each other! I cannot wait for the next book.

I so loved this book. Sal and Gia's story is so much fun to read. Gia is very stubborn which is frustrating for the both of them. I enjoyed the playful banter between them they are perfect for each other. There are a few twist that kept me on the edge. Through the trials of the events that happen they are stronger together and they can no longer deny the love they have for one another. Especially when Gia ends up pregnant. Vivy is a wonderful author I enjoy her books very much. I highly recommend this book. Happy reading everyone

Gia wants to take over the family business, the mafia. Her twin bother, Elio is on paternity leave. She is wanting to make new liaisons with other mafia organizations. She saved a Russian daughter and now wants to call in the favor to find Marco the head of a different mafia family. Sal who is her best friend, but not now is going to be her back up. They are meeting with another mafia family, just to have the building blow up. So many nuances in this book.

This is the story of Gia and Sal. She belongs to the powerful Rossi family. When her brother is on paternity leave, she temporarily takes over for him as head of the family. Sal is her bodyguard and sees that she enjoys the power she has now and has always wanted to have. They have a secret relationship because her brother is not allowed to find out, but their passion cannot be held back. A wonderful mafia story with enough action, danger, secrets, lies, many twists and turns and enough steam.

This is an intense emotional Mafia story with all the feels and twists and turns that go with it. It is full of bodyguards, kidnapping, plots to bring down other Mafia families. The family storyline is very strong in this book brother, sister, aunts, uncles, father and the author does a very good job keeping track of everyone. You will simply fall into this story and not be able to put the book down. The tension and connection between Gia and Sal will tear out your heart and soul. The character have been expertly written by this author and you will want to read more books by her.
