The PvP event finally started. First with careful small time incursions and defences against such, and later the big assaults. We get to see how various players carry the day, mostly from Maple Tree, but also from those of other guilds and factions. It gives people plenty of opportunity to show various new abilities and spells. By the end the battle has not been won, but both sides have made losses and gets ready for the next phase. With entertaining characters and events it is a fun read, even though for all intents and purpose it is a game so the stakes are not that high and the game not very realistic, but that should not come as a surprise this far into the series. So, a great addition to the series, but not for everybody.

If you like big PvP battles…

Then this volume will be a good fit for you. Not so much my cup of tea, but the writing is good, as usual, and so many skills and domains were seen and shared. I’m hoping the next volume gets back to exploring, hanging out, doing weird things and gaining new freaky skills in the process. I also kind of miss the chat segments, so yup. It’s good, but not great in my opinion :)

This was so fun!!

My favourite story arc in a while!!

We finally see preparations pay off in this massive p v p battle!! We also get more of an insight into the new characters, how they work, what their skills are, and that they are up there with the other top players.

So much fun, I cannot wait to continue this arc in the next volume!!
