Fans of Dean Koontz and ‘X-Men’ would love ‘Onset’. It manages to merge the two genres effortlessly and deliver a fast-paced Sci-Fi thriller!

It is excellent! It read fluidly. Your conversation was perfect! I love the trash talk in the beginning. You will undoubtedly be picked up sooner or later! Your book is easy to read and I was at the end of the chapter before I realized it. Giving you 6 stars, and a spot on my watchlist.

This is written is a professional manner. The plot is captivating. Chole is a great character because
she's likable, vulnerable and mentally strong. And I can see the mystery and danger adding tension to the story.

Your writing, your style are so appealing, that I cannot resist it. You know what you are talking about, and I think I can trust your mathematical brain to have worked out all the angles....you have, indeed, which is wonderful. I can settle in for a good, long read. What a relief it is to find reliable, easy and accurate writing.

This is a sweet YA book about a boy whose older sister has been kidnapped. This has in turn changed the family dynamic so much, that it seems as though they are already grieving her. This makes him angry and upset—he hears conversations that he shouldn’t and has lost all faith in law enforcement.

At this point, a ghost slowly emerges from his iPad; though initially scared,he makes friends with her and believes she is giving him clues when he talks about his sister. With the help of his ghost and his best friend, he solves a huge mystery for law enforcement and rescues his sister.

It’s not a terribly frightening story for younger teens or even older children. There are no real horror aspects in the book. It reminded me of some of the Enid Blyton books that I read as a older child. The kids saved the day, despite what others thought they could do. Very empowering for a kid who grows up in a world filled with bullies, school shootings, and uncertainty about the world state.

I was surprised and pleased by this engaging science fiction novel. The most important thing to me in any story is a connection with the characters, and I sympathized with the Russells' feisty character Chloe.

The title of the book definitely caught my attention at his book display. I was thoroughly entertained with this author's short stories about the adventures of his grandchildren.
