This book felt super rushed and lacked a lot of key things. I liked the story a lot but those missing things killed it for me.

I think I enjoyed reading this book more than I expected to be honest.
A sweet sapphic book with a dash of spice and a lot of chemistry. The characters were fun to read to about, full of emotion and love and the story developed quite nicely throughout. I even enjoyed reading the side plot of Eric and his stupidity.
Jackie and Sarah were absolutely adorable together and this book definitely used communication to develop their relationship which is always great to see especially since most romance books use miscommunication trope more often than not.
Although this was short, it was very easy and fulfilling to read. It has a great lead couple to focus, easy dialogue, great descriptions and fun side characters to add to this universe. What more could you ask for?
Do give this book a try! It’s full of enough emotion and story to keep your attention till the end.

I was hoping for a better ending, not that this was not but I was expecting more. I know this is one of the shorter ones of the medical doctor's series that I've read from this author but this ending was just left me hanging... maybe we can get a part 2 to this one.
But, wow! a mom's loss is a powerful think and not letting go of the lost child, is only causing her to lose the other one that is still here with her. Sad, but I would have also liked a conclusion to this part of Sarah's life too? ... oh, well

Este libro fue mi primera novela romantica lesbiana en español. Un idioma donde estoy en el nivel b2-c1.
Este es el primer libro de este autor y tal vez no fue el mejor para empezar.
El libro es muy corto y no hay química entre los personajes, y el interno me parece un acosador. No hay razón para que el médico lo arriesgue todo.
Además, se dijeron más cosas que se mostraron. Realmente no creía en la relación.
Me tomó un tiempo terminar el libro ya que no me atraía leerlo excepto como práctica de español.
Probaré otros libros de este autor porque están en español y ojalá sean mejores.

Un libro con pocas páginas, historia corta, fácil de leer, por lo menos me sirvió de intermedio mientras decido que otro libro completo podria empezar. Lo califico como libro independiente, la saga se vuelve un poco repetitiva.

Me gusto bastante, es de esos libros que lees en menos de un día pero que no tienen mucha profundidad.

Sarah y Jackie tienen un pasado terrible pero 10 años después, la vida las junta y… tendrás q leerlo ;) Otra novela de hospital de la autora donde fluyen los problemas pero tb el amor ^_^

Historia corta interesante con buenos personajes pero a mi me ha pasado, que en cierto punto, me faltaba como más narrativa para llegar al punto de desarrollo en el que se encontraban los personajes

Things I liked about this book: Kind of funny. Quick read. Some spice. The author also addressed some traumatic issues like family death while keeping the overall tone of the book light.
As for the critiques... This book felt pretty rushed. There were a few details I was missing. Maybe there were a bunch of implied time skips that I just didn't pick up on. For example, there was a huge confrontation scene between the leads and then literally the next page was another character implying that they already had feelings for each other? Also, some of the dialogue felt a bit unnatural.
That being said, if you want a short read with some spice, this is a good one to meet your reading goal for the year. It took me only a couple hours to read.

Doctora Stone es un libro súper cortito, narrado a dos voces, cuenta la historia de la doctora Jackie Stone, una gran cirujana, y Sarah Taylor, una interna de cirugía que decide hacer sus rotaciones en el mismo hospital donde su hermano murió. Al reencontrarse, ambas tienen que enfrentarse a los dolorosos recuerdos del pasado a la vez que lidian con los nuevos sentimientos que surgen entre ellas.
El libro tiene ciertas vibes de Anatomía de Grey, una mezcla entre dramas médicos y románticos, con representación LGTB+. Y aunque el principio me pareció curioso y me gustó, al ser un libro tan corto me ha dado la sensación de que ha sido todo muy apresurado. No da tiempo a que se sienta la química en la pareja, y la personalidad de Sarah se me ha hecho inconsistente por el cambio tan drástico y rápido que se ve.
Al final perdí bastante el interés, no ha sido un libro para mí, aunque si estáis buscando algo cortito, fácil de leer, con un amor prohibido y temática hospitalaria podríais probar a darle una oportunidad.

Es un libro súper rápido, cortito y para echarte unas buenas risas.
La doctora Stone no pudo salvar al hermano de Sarah y ahora Sarah ha decidido seguir el camino de su hermano. Por eso se reencuentran cuando Sarah empieza como interna en el hospital donde murió su hermano.
A partir de ahí la cosa se complica porque existen unas normas muy estrictas en base a las relaciones sentimentales entre personas del hospital.
Además, Jackie no le cae demasiado bien a la madre de Sarah, sigue pensando que es una ases*na por no haber podido salvar a su hijo.
