Hardships and struggles frequently visited thirty-four-year-old Prime Cavalier as a boy. When you grow up in the hood in London, and your father’s nickname is ‘Queen’, trouble makes it way to you whether you send for it or not. Luckily, Prime turned his skill of fighting into a very lucrative business. With two consistently growing bodyguard companies, struggling is a thing of the past. The shadows of the ghosts who haunt him make sure he never forgets where he came from… when he’s tasked to guard and protect twenty-eight-year Rouge Holloway.
Life for millionaire heiress Rouge has always been consistent of doing what’s best and never venturing away from her routine. The renowned cellist’s life is guided and directed by her big brother, Jaime. His controlling ways has prevented her from exploring life in every aspect. With guards around her every day, she’s only left with her books, imagination, and musical notes from her cello. However, she’s given the chance to live in London for two months with her guard, Prime, and there, she finds out what real love and freedom is and the ghosts he’s running from.
Prime and Rouge find comfort and loads of bondage sex between each other, but will his ghosts and her brother’s smothering ways prevent their possible happily ever after?
If by Dark Romance you mean Dark Chocolate or Black love then this is that 🤣. Nothing was really dark in this book. Rouge and Prime were cute. Jaime was too over protective.
It was a solid read. It was more contemporary than a dark romance, so if you passed this book up thinking, you don't like dark than don't worry. Read it.
An entertaining read. It’s not very long but gives you all the details you need to enjoy this budding love story. FMC and MMc had a way of making the other feel comfortable and share their real selves. Light BDSM. Instalove
Prime gave me all the feels. It was like he was Jeffrey from Belairs Cousin in Arms. Rouge was like a damsel trapped in the palace by Jaime. When Prime and Rouge encountered each other there was insta attraction. Enjoyed it.
This book was slightly cheesy with their banter. He calls her wallflower and that just gave me a slight ick. The story line was cute and easy to read though.
Call Out My Name is a fast-paced romance filled with intimacy and dominance. Prime Cavalier is a top-of-the-line bodyguard from the UK who has just been hired by his close friend, Jamie to watch over his younger sister, Rouge. A disabled cellist who doesn’t know life outside of her brother’s tight grasp Once she’s thousands of miles away from her over-protective bother, Rouge and Prime embark on a new journey of gaining independence, discovering new favorites and love.
First off, Mr. Prime Cavalier…once again Ms. Wynta Tyme has made me fall for one of her bookmen. Prime gives me soft dom vibes. When it comes to Rouge he doesn’t mess around even before they made it to the UK. He made sure she was comfortable and relaxed. But afterward, honey! Alexa, play “A Whole New World!” because that’s exactly what she experienced once she stepped through his threshold. I can only imagine the flames coming out of Jamie’s head when he received that nice email… LMFAO. Prime’s upbringing is a story to tell in itself. Abused as a child, witnessing a life being taken and growing up with a constant reminder of it. No wonder he needed to create a place in his house to escape.
I felt bad for Rouge, she could barely enjoy a moment to embrace the love of a new couple before she swept away back home. Jamie getting that call to step out of town was a blessing. Rouge needed that escape from her daily life and needed to experience something new. Falling in love with Prime was just a bonus.
Overall, I loved this book and hope to see more of Rouge and Prime in future stories, and I need to know what’s up with Jamie and Nan cause theirs something in the mist with them two.
Dive into the world of Prime. A totured hero with a woeful past who made his mark into the world by flipping the coin and is now a multimillionaire bodyguard who owns multiple security firms
Rogue is our Violinist damsel in distress but by her big brother's doing. She may be an adult but her brother has kept her cushioned from the world since their parents passing when they were young, so much so she's a stranger to it and yearns to break out of mould.
An impromptu trip to Japan sees her brother asking a trusted friend to watch over his sister.. Prime takes Rogue across the pond to his hometown in London.
Rogue's delve into freedom is fast but it doesn't give you whiplash. It's a fast love kind of read but its well paced. I loved their chemistry and the LGBTQ subjects explored over different time periods and showcasing the change in society.
If you like a lil BDSM on your pages. Look no further. Prime has a way of trying to tame his past demons and what better way than to explore ones self pleasures..? Rogue is keen foe the wild ride and .... 🤭
Rouge and Prime were too cute! I absolutely love how Prime quickly assessed her need to be free and aided in making that happen from the beginning. I also appreciate how this author didn't make this story about complicated communication, but rather two people who talked and cleared the air when things were uncertain. She allowed us to witness how a wallflower blossomed, and I loved seeing Rouge's growth. There were some topics that I don't typically prefer to read about, but the author wrote about them with decency and respect, which led me to feel the same. Overall, I really liked these characters and this storyline and how much Prime stood on business from day one. There were some editing things that kept this from being a 5-star experience, but still, the storyline was a good one.
"Have you ever heard the saying that when a man wants something or someone, nothing can stop him from getting it? Well, that was definitely the case for Prime when he met Rouge. As her bodyguard, he fell head over heels for her and was determined to help her break out of her shell. He succeeded, and they both lived happily ever after.
The author, Wynta, wastes no time in getting into the drama and action in this book. From start to finish, we are immersed in Prime and Rouge's world, and trust me, it's one heck of a ride. It's the perfect book to read over the weekend - I highly recommend it!"
Enjoyed this story of how when tragedy may seem things/life would be forever bleek but just because the world may see you as fragile and try to hold you back it doesn't have to be, never allow anyone to hold you back halting your growth and independence all you have to do is have faith, courage and the opportunity and that's what Prime gave to Rouge when he took her home with her everything her brother was sheltering her from she was.able to do and much more absolutely loved the way he took care of her as well as stood up for her and in turn she helped him to deal with his nightmares from the past.
Prime and his wallflower! This was a solid read. I really admired Prime’s gentleness and patience with Rouge. She was settled pretty much her entire life, and isn’t really exposed to the world until she meets Prime. Jaime was extremely overprotective of her due to the way their parents passed, but whew he couldn’t be my brother chile. Cause ain’t no way I would still be doing the same things from 13 to 28 to appease my older brother. In the end, it all worked out. The only thing dark about this was discussed in the trigger warning in the beginning.

This short read just did so much for me. The only thing that bothered me about this was the length, way too short. However, it did not miss at all. Prime was that guy and I loved how he regarded Rouge as having so much strength that he literally breath it into her. This was really a take of building up your love in someone and giving them all their flowers. Mrs. Tyme you did that.
Sis, I love this story. It was short, sweet, and full of feels. A sexy brother with a British accent can get it every time. Prime was perfect for Rouge. She lived a sheltered life and didn't have any worldly experiences. She couldn't even make a sandwich....smh.
Going to live with Prime for two months was everything she didn't know she needed. Love, love this short.
I’m sick and tired of all these book baes I keep adding to the roster ! These hot girl summer activities through literature lol. I absolutely loved the book it was so cute . I overall just really love love ! Happy endings are everything and you NEVER miss Wynta Tyme! Can’t wait to cross another book off the list ! Recommend reading for sure
I love Rouge, poor baby was in new territory and was so amazed. Prime was serving all of the BDE and I was here for it. Rouge peaked his interest and she willingly obliged him. This was really cute and good!
Rouge had been sheltered all her life and didn't know how to do anything for herself but Prime came into her life as her bodyguard and showed her how to grow up and do things she had never done for herself, Prime showed how to love and be loved
This was the perfect short and spicy read. Imagine falling in love with your foreign bodyguard and having to explain to your over protective brother who hired him. I love the representation for drag queens and LGBTQIA in this book. 🤎
This was was a good read Rouge was definitely sheltered and her brother Jaime made sure if it maybe it was out of fear but Prime stepped in and show Rouge somethangs I love the relationship Prime hand with his family and the way he nurtured Rouge in finding herself
I read this and it was good but it could have been great. It was rushed. This is the 2nd book by thos author a d her stories be good. The plot the character development but the end feels so rushed. Ima keep reading tho
This was nice. Rogue was twenty eight, but because of her injury her brother treated her like a child. It was nice that she was able to get away from her brother and blossom with the help of Prime.
I enjoyed this story Rogue had been sheltered all her life, and hadn’t experienced much, but Prime came into her life unexpectedly and show her how to live. Prime had a dark past that I’m glad he was able to overcome.
3.5 stars! This was a quick and short book. It wasn’t dark to me but it did have some triggers that could not be for everyone. I enjoyed their time together and she definitely learned more about herself. I’m curious to see Jaime’s love story.
Prime didn't play about Rogue and I loved that for her. She needed somebody to let her spread her wings and live and she got just that. I loved how Prime helped her grow and learn to love herself and be comfortable on her skin.
Yes 👏🏽 this was an unique read! Everything about this story was different and captivating at time even dark! This was really a great love story with some twist and masterfully written!!
Come on now, Wynta!!! A good forced proximity with a hint of bdsm; yes please!!! This was such a great read. And the instant attraction was everything. Beautifully written!!
Oh my goodness, this is story was filled with so many layers. It was beautiful written and displayed so much emotion and love. I truly appreciate the kind of work.
