This book is truly amazingly simple. Incredibly easy to read and the graphics are incredible and the summaries are great. I simply did not give it a 4 or 5 star because it speaks of the Bible as developing a good moral character - to quote “The Bible is a rich resource of wisdom, cultural and religious understanding, moral practices, and most especially, a guide to holistic and good character”. The Bible is one of God’s way of communicating with us. It drives us to a knowledge of Jesus Christ and how to have a relationship with him that is saving and deeply deeply personal. A lifetime can be spent reading the Bible and some of the great mysteries will never be understood. God became man in the person of Jesus Christ and chose to save us. John 3:16 is highlighted by the way and I know the intent of the book is not to give the Gospel message but to summarize. Enjoy the summaries and the graphics and be inspired to dig deeper.
