High emotions
This was a long road for Nadia the long term abuse not only physically, but mentally and emotionally for so many years, then to finally get a way out but too afraid to take until she got a taste of a little happiness from Kahlil to only have him say he was letting her go because what they were sharing was not enough and she was too afraid to leave so removing himself was what's best; she didn't want that and finally got the courage to take A stand for herself, her children and the man that had shown her what real happiness felt like. After speaking to Mahlik's uncle and he still gave her a way out she put everything into play, when he came home and she was standing on her word he tried to play the uncle card but it didn't work, then he pulled out a gun only for Khalil to show him how much of a coward he really was it was priceless a great ending.

Great book.
Ok, so this was most definitely a dope series. I'm glad Nadia finally got away from Mahlik. I don't know how I feel about Nadia though. She went through alone traumatic stuff at a young age. But I feel like she didn't stand up for her self. Like I wanted her to boss up on Mahlik like no other and take her life back. Maybe I just wanted more 🤷🏾♀️
But I must say I loved Khalil for standing up for Nadia and her kids. Anywho you did a great job with this series B. Payne.

5 💫 Read ‼️
I don’t even know where to start from book 1 to the finale all 3 books was bangers‼️ I was not expecting the book to end the way it did but I am happy it did. I am so happy Khalil walked back in to Nadia life and never gave up on her even with all the BS Mahlik did to him. I am so Happy Nadia did what made her happy and wasn’t that scared high school girl anymore. Mahlik needs to seek help he has major issues. It’s funny how he can dish out the bs but couldn’t handle to bs being sent his way

Reading this series you would get the impression that Malik was the toxic one of his & Nadia’s relationship, but Nadia was toxic too! Nadia was meek, not stupid. A lot of her actions were sloppy & careless. She knew she could have left & divorced Malik if she wanted to, especially after she got his uncle’s blessing. She had enough courage to do the things she did behind Malik’s back, knowing it would be the same outcome if she got caught, as divorcing Malik. I’m just glad things worked out in her favor. Khalil was a good dude & Nadia’s saving grace.

No you did not just end the book like that! The ending was very anticlimactic. Not sure why it just ended like that, it's kind of like the author just said ok wrap it up and wrote the easiest ending. Overall though, this was a good series. Very quick and easy to read. Well written. One sec I'm like #teamMalik and then the next it's #wehatemalik lol. I didn't care very much for Nadia though. She had very little growth or development.

I’m so disappointed
This book dragged on more than it was supposed to the beginning didn’t happen until the 3rd book and the ending left too much to imagine. No glimpse into the life of Khalil n Nadia. What happened to the kids… how does cool parenting go… like I’m left with so many questions. No epilogue saying where everybody is in a year.. idk I feel like I waited for no reason this book could have been finished in 2 parts honestly.

You Never Know How Strong You Are!
B. Payne, good series. It's no fun when the underdog gets up. When I tell you I thought Nadia was gonna go back to her old self but she had more to gain by being strong. Mahlik was just who I thought he was. I hope Nadia and Khalil continue to grow. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

The End.
I'm so glad Nadia got away from her controlling life. I'm even happier she got a chance to be happy. Now I'm just sorry the story ends here. Would have liked to know if they really did live happily ever since Mahlik isn't a problem anymore. He had such an hold on her that she didn't remember she always had a way out. But I don't regret reading every bit of this series.

Disappointed
I really didn't care for the ending. Like I expected the husband to get arrested. Like you brought up the murder but really didn't stick it to him. She never had an opportunity to heal. She went from one relationship to another. She had the possibility to get a career but nothing ever came of it. Its an okay trilogy.

This book shows you how you can stay in a wrong relationship for so long knowing you deserve so much better he took advantage of her and never fully valued her I need a update because I want to see more of her life with Khalil and see how her ex is taking his loss lol

So much for a wild ending
I just knew this was going to end deadly. Thankfully, it didn’t. I would’ve loved for a Nadia and Khalil wedding but we can’t always get everything we want. Malik was a narcissistic, sociopathic, abusing, cheating animal. This was one roller coaster of a book series. Great read!

I loved it!
This was a perfect ending. Nadia was able to finally get what her heart desired. Mahlik is the worse kind of person! Khalil, Khalil and more Khalil. He knew what he wanted and was willing to endure any and everything for what he wanted.

Surprised
This series definitely has a surprising ending. The circumstances around this married characters was crazy. I never saw their marriage ending the way it did. But am so happy it did. This author delivered a five star read that I lived reading and couldn't get enough of.

No way the book could end that way after all that happened. I’d respect a delay in publishing before releasing something of this skill The entire book was unbelievable making it hard to connect with the characters.

This didn’t end like I expected it to HOWEVER it was still a great ending. This series had me in the chokehold to the point that I was reading at work lol. Awesome read would definitely recommend to anyone who loves to read , like me.
