Wow Red has come a long way! I love that Ivory shows that D/s Master/slave is not all about pushing someone around. She shows the responsibility that is involved with being a Dom that includes making sure your sub is safe and ok. I stated in my review of Elienne: The Sessions (Darkness Falls: The Sessions) that I usually don't purchase shorts or novellas or what ever you want to call them... UNLESS they are written by the ever so talented Ivory Quinn. I will purchase anything this talented woman writes! I read Elienne first then jumped right into James and got a double shot of jaw dropping yumminess! I am loving these sessions and actually am looking forward to more! Ivory draws you right into her world and you absolutely fall for her characters. The stories are rich and easy to get lost in. I will continue to purchase anything Ivory writes be it short story or novella or a huge tome! (Heck I believe she could make the nutritional info on my box of cereal interesting!)

I really enjoyed this short story, it appealed to me on a personal level. I thought Mistress Red was a meanie at the end, lol, but what she did remained true to her character :)
