This story didn't make much sense to me. With it being only 12 pages I didn't have a chance in hell, of getting to know what the characters were about.
Blue came across as an asshole. BDSM or not I dislike any male slapping a female in the face because she forgot to call him Master. Maybe it was 'their' thing I never got to find out.
The couple basically hooked up once a month and he took care of her needs. The scene was brutal and not for the faint hearted.
I received this short story as a gift from the author. I wasn't asked for a review but I wrote one for myself to be able to recall what I did/didn't like about it.

I am not a fan of novelettes. In fact the only novelette I can remember ever buying are this one and James: The Sessions both by Ivory Quinn, I decided to purchase these short stories because Ivory Quinn is an excellent writer and I am absolutely hooked on her Darkness Falls series.... I was not disappointed. Just getting a scene with Master Blue was amazing! I will happily purchase any other Sessions shorts that she puts out there I do hope something with a bit more to it is coming along too :)
