He falls fast. They both fall hard.

What an emotional rollercoaster!!
The drama in this book kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire thing! The obstacles thrown at them were nothing short of torture. I was invested from the very beginning. Yet I was left jaw dropped & shouting at the page on so many occasions!
Lizzie had learnt to harden herself, to protect her heart & mind but that also makes her resistant to let anyone back in. Until Daniel.
Daniel is not perfect, but he is the sweetest man. He becomes infatuated with Lizzie & although he makes mistakes (many unfortunately) along the way, his heart is in the right place the whole time.
(I may have a little more of a soft spot as this is my husband’s name too, but hey a girl is allowed to be a bit biased!)

My heart broke for them both throughout this book. That ending! I am so glad I waited until book 2 was available before reading this one, I need to know the next part of their story immediately. I just hope my heart can take it!

One of my favourite indie romance reads yet. The story is so well written and there are so many twists and turns that just make you devour every page.

I loved the romance between Lizzie and Daniel as it felt realistic and natural, the type of relationship you can believe happened in real life. It has the tropes of second chance, celebrity romance and touch her and die as well as a genuinely beautiful, heart wrenching and well written storyline.

The way Lizzie and Daniel develop and grow as characters is wonderfully written and Kate Jones writes about some of the harder and more difficult themes (no spoilers) with such empathy and accuracy, which is why this book deserves to reach so many more people!

I read the entire book in one evening because it was just that good to me. Is it the most life-changing book I’ve ever read? No, but it’s up there with some of the best and most addictive romance reads I’ve ever read and from the first few pages had me hooked! Really looking forward to reading the second book and seeing other stories that Kate Jones produces because she really took it there with this whirlwind of a story!

Wow, the main characters have been through the wringer!
I loved Lizzie and Daniel’s story. There’s so much to unpack within this book that I don’t know where to start! For me, the first half of the book starts off a little slow, but I understand that is needed to introduce the reader to the characters and their stories. The second half of the book though, gets so much better! Plenty of drama, and a little bit of spice. This book has everything I look for when reading a romance novel.
Cannot wait to read where their story goes.

Also.. that letter! 😢

This is a beautiful, well written book that is now one of my favourite indie romance stories! Submerging myself into the story of Lizzie and Daniel felt a lot like a creative version of snakes and ladders in the way it built you up, then it took an unexpected twist and back down again before building you back up. I loved the escalation and the way some things didn't make sense and you're left holding on. And Ed, don't get me started on Ed! But every good story of contrasting emotion, needs a good villain and he is exactly that.

Kate's writing is fluid and effortlessly graceful with a certain class to it that I love. We are left questioning the direction of the primary romance on several occasions and this keeps pulling you in, as you root for them to overcome their obstacles. I felt a range of emotions while reading Until You and was glad for the undulating cadence, which kept me intrigued throughout. I can't wait to read Kate's next book...

An utterly delightful read from Indie Author Kate Jones.

This book was thoroughly enjoyable and kept me enthralled throughout.

Loved the plot and as it started to get darker, it just kept me gripped as I needed to know what happened next to the characters.

The storyline flowed and it didn't feel rushed and the ending was absolutely perfect, as I always love a grand gesture.

There is a mixture of light and shade with darker elements throughout, which at time make you just want to scream at certain characters. It gave you a perspective of what could actually happen in reality which is refreshing.

Definitely will be rereading this book again in the future.

BEST READ OF 2025 SO FAR!

I don’t usually read celebrity romance tropes but from the moment I had a walk around the HEA event I went to a few weeks ago, this book caught my eye. It took me a few minutes to decided if I should buy it and I’m so glad I did.

Until You by is by far the best book I’ve read so far in 2025. I absolutely adored the character development from Lizzie and how the emotions from Daniel were displayed in this story. The support, the romance and the overall aspect of this story was absolutely, not only that but Kate Jones is one amazing writer and an amazing person. She’s a sweetheart.

I gave this 3.5⭐️

I sincerely would have enjoyed this book a lot more had there been appropriate trigger warnings. There is significant domestic violence including causing pregnancy loss (in previous relationship)

I did really enjoy the story of how they met and overcame their obstacles to find love in the end. I do recommend the book and would love to see their story continue.

I absolutely loved this story. Kate is a debut author, and this book was full of twists and turns, and the storyline was so well written. There is so much detail about both characters. Highly recommend this story for a whirlwind romance of two people who eventually mended each other's hearts.

More Than a Beach Read: Love, Loss, and What Comes After

Until You is a touching, sweet story with just the right balance of spice and suspense to keep the pages turning. It’s one of those reads that gently tugs at your heart, gives you a few flutters, and occasionally makes you hold your breath.

The relationship between the two main characters was my favorite part—realistic, slow-building, and emotionally layered. I found myself genuinely caring about their safety and happiness, which isn’t always easy to pull off in a romance. While there were a few predictable beats (as you might expect in a beach read), there were also enough twists and moments of tension to keep things interesting.

Minor spoiler ahead: Kate Jones handles the portrayal of a survivor of domestic abuse with striking accuracy and empathy. The internal struggle, the silence, the instinct to hide pain from others—it all felt heartbreakingly real without veering into melodrama. You can tell she either did her homework or wrote from a place of deep understanding.

Though not a “life-changing” book, it was moving. The author’s voice is conversational and accessible, which made it an easy, immersive read. Content-wise, readers should be aware of references to domestic violence, abuse, infant loss, grief, and mild physical violence.

If you’re in the mood for an easy-to-read story that blends warmth, romance, and resilience—with just enough bite to keep it grounded—Until You is worth adding to your list.

📖 Kate Jones

I really enjoyed this book, it was so engaging. Lizzie is the centre and main focus in this book. She really comes into herself and I loved seeing her character develop during this story. Her story is one of self discovery, knowing her worth and not accepting any less.
Lizzie meets Daniel a hot shot Hollywood actor, He is besotted with her and sees her worth from their first meeting (this was one of the cutes meet cutes I have read in a very long time).

Both MCs have baggage from their previous relationships and this has a push and pull affect on their relationship....

Every time that I thought I knew where the storyline was going there was a completely unexpected twist in the story. I loved Kates style of writing, it was completely immersive and so refreshing for the story to be fully focused of Lizzies story even though the MMC is a big Hollywood actor. Kate is now one of my favourite Indie authors. This book was a fantastic read! I can not wait for book 2 to be released to see where their relationship goes.

This is a tale of sadness and serendipity. Of very much out of the darkness comes light. But only if you let it and sometimes moving on takes more strength and courage than you ever knew you had or needed.

Daniel is living the crazy media filled life of a filmstar, and Lizzie is doing well after her divorce. They meet by chance and decide to give their relationship a go. Is he the one to help her move on, or will everything come crashing down?

I could not put this book down! It's got a real romantic suspense vibe to it but not in the traditional 'there's a mystery to solve' way. I'm not doing spoilers, but there's a reality to some of the events that happen in the book, so please be warned. I would 100% recommend this book. 💜
