When a cutie with confidence issues meets an adorably awkward Dom, they’ll learn that sometimes you have to find your mate to find yourself.

Author’s You do not need to have read books two through four in this series to enjoy this one, but this book will make much more sense if you have at least read book one.
DNF @74% ... eh, there's a reason I've stopped reading this author, and while this tentacle series of hers has been the one thing I've continued to come back to - because it's fun, and it's tentacles and aliens! - I just got bored with this one. Well, bored plus annoyed by the same things that have made me stop reading her in general. I may try again if she writes more in this series, but at the moment I wanted to move on to other books and just couldn't be fussed to finish this one up, so 🤷♀️
This author never fails to make me happy, no matter how silly or outlandish the premise is. An MC managing to communicate despite fuzzy-brained subspace due to impact-heavy tentacle play plus tentacle sounding? Yup, I love all these New Neighbors stories!
Not for me. Maybe because I didn't start at the beginning of the series. Dunno. It felt clinical and more of a documentary than a romance. The caretaking was sweet but it did feel one sided and I wasn't really interested in either character. Nicholas and Larry seemed a lot more entertaining.

Theo is a fun character. He went into a relationship knowing he needed to be clear on what his boundaries were. Jerker just does his thing and makes sure it is something that Theo likes. I enjoy these books since there is so much fun clarification on what the characters want since the two species have such different outlooks.
This is a fun, lighthearted series with love and quirky characters. This book fits right in with the rest of the series.
I do wish that we would get a chapter or two from the alien point of view, but I get it.
Theo is invited to make new friends and possibly find a tentacled mate. If nothing else he will have a nice dinner and have a chance to try and be less awkward. The one thing he isn’t counting on is meeting the Dom of his dreams right before hitting the floor. When a cutie with confidence issues meets an adorably awkward Dom, they’ll learn that sometimes you have to find your mate to find yourself.
This was a great story as to how tentacled alien Jerker met his mate Theo at a social event for aliens and potential mates to meet and socialise. The way that Theo became overwhelmed and blacked out was a little worrying but thankfully when Jerker found him he was taken care of properly (something that he was not doing himself). I liked that Theo was able to help to educate Jerker and that helped him educate more of the aliens. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content in a BSDM-like D/s dynamic.
His Theo is another fun book in The New Neighbors series. Jerker has had even more responsibility in his life than the others in our series, so he's even more of a decisive Dom. But he has had less interaction directly with humans than the others. This leaves a nice balance for new interactions between alien and submissive.
Theo definitely falls heavily in the category of needing a dominant partner to feel comfortable in day to day life. He's a sweet character.
This book was funny from the start and so sexy and cute! I laughed at the first paragraph and it set the whole mood for the book. Jerker was fun and confident and Theo’s inner monologue was so funny. I highly recommend these alien doms and this book especially.
Theo is a fun character always overthinking. He's invited to a mixer where he hopefully finds a Dom , with tentacles. As he gets embarrassed he faints and Jerker saves him. The beginning of their relationship. Jerker learning what it's like to be the perfect caretaker, from TV and others, but is fun when he can read what Theo wants. Theo just wants to make him happy. A fun read, highly recommend
Man I love this series. Each one shows a different way the mates connect. I adore Theo. Seeing how Jerker and him learn about each other was beautiful. I especially like how we learn why Jerker chose his name after we had gotten to know him. Picturing him during the moment he chose it brought tears to my eyes. I’m so glad his turn was over. The last scene was awesome. Made me want to know more.
I really REALLY like this series. All of the humans are so unique.
This instalment of this series is no different, however I didn’t connect with the characters all that well. Theo felt a little too go with the flow of his overbearing Dom. Also the blue dudes are getting a little samey.
I’ll still read the next one though. Like I said I really like this series.
I absolutely loved this story. This is the fifth book in this series but it can be read as a stand-alone. I am completely in love with these aliens. They are so fascinating and I love the attention that they give to their partners. This is such a wonderful series.
I am in love with Theo and his mate! This whole series has been wonderful and I’ve truly enjoyed the alternate reality they live in. The story and development were great. And the plot? They fell in love. 10/10.
Theo and Jerker's book is great. It's fun, hilarious, sweet, and oh so hot! 🔥 I loved all of of it from them meeting to the very awesome end! You should totally read this book 💜
His Theo (The New Neighbors #5) by M.A. Innes – This series is on kindle unlimited. The most unbelievable part of this story is that a guy would think having a panic attack so hard you passed out was attractive in a potential partner lol! Clearly, I need an alien boyfriend! Lol! Happy Reading!
His Theo is the fifth book in The New Neighbors series by M.A. Innes. This is the story of Theo and Jerker. I really liked their story. Their story was sweet, sexy and very well written.
Love these alien tentacle stories. This one was hot with a bit of exhibitionism. The pool scene was hot. I’m pretty sure a little was in the submission.
Communication aspect really makes this series endearing. I really like books that are a two person world. I wish the story continued a bit more as it ended without feeling complete.
