Oh my! Sonny is one hot, steamy, protective, romantic, muscled bar owner that would have any woman's panties melting off of her.
Delani is a smart curvy chocolatier that is tired of falling for the wrong man. Until Sonny came in like a raging bull after a break up with her lousy boyfriend and a knight in shining armor when she's attacked, Delani thought she never find a good man that loved her.
I recommend this steaming hot book to those that love a romantic read. C.D. Gorri's books are never a disappointment especially if you like plus size woman finding the man of her dreams.
Audiobook:
Lorali Rayne narration of this book is clear and concise. Her voice is smooth and easy to listen to as she reads this steamy sweet story by C. D. Gorri.

Sonny is finally opening his own whiskey bar, Whiskey Neat, and has an important business meeting with some financial backers coming up. Delani just opened her sweets shop right next-door to Sonny’s bar. This is her dream job and her big moneymaker, Valentine’s Day is coming up. Sonny doesn’t want the smell of chocolate infiltrating his bar when he has the meeting with the backers and Delani isn’t going to close her doors when Valentine’s Day is coming up so they are at an impasse. Will they be able to work together to make Valentine’s Day special?

This is a fun shorter story just right for Valentine's day. Both have liked the other from the fist meeting when they found out that they were neighbours with their businesses only separated by an alleyway. Delani is a chocolatier and working hard to make her mark. A conversation, by chance overheard by Sonny, lets him know that his dream woman is available. He can't wait to have her but can chocolate and whiskey make a pair or will it just curdle?

Liking the hints about the friends for something later on, if I'n reading between the lines right :)

Loved Delani and Sonny. They are the hottest couple ever and who doesn't love someone who smells like chocolate. This is a great not so instant love story that is fast and steamy and oh so hot, hot, hot. Sonny owns a bar and is trying to get is whiskey label, Whiskey Neat out to a bigger market and Delani owns the chocolate shop next door. Are whiskey and chocolate good together, no they're great together. Loved this story.

I L-O-V-E-D THIS BOOK!

Sonny was the PERFECT book boyfriend! He fell head-over-heels for a very talented, unique, and special lady at-first-sight! 🥰 In fact, they both did. And after a rocky start, they gave in to their feelings. I loved both of these main characters and their "sweet" story. I definitely will be reading more!

Her chocolates and his whiskey made a success for him and a future for them together. The audio version of this book is great.
