The pictures alone are worth your time. The author describes 24 plants that thrive in her hometown (and mine). But these plants are special because they offer more than one use: they look nice but also provide nectar for pollinators, or they repel mosquitos and you can eat the leaves. Complete with recipes and more, I had to spread the reading out over many weeks because there was so much to digest.
