Useful, small primer, designed specifically for people thinking in English. If you've studied a romance language to any level already, you may not need this. The book deliberately avoids going deep into the grammar, which is a pity but which would probably make it far too large. As it is, it is quite comprehensive and has plenty of example sentences with translations, a handy set of verb tables, with lists of verbs and usages. This is more a reference book than a proper school grammar book. Don't take it on holiday, but take it when you move in to Italy.
