Keep your hands and feet inside at all times.

Luke Chesterfield and Jack Jay have spent the first two months of their relationship inside an abandoned shopping mall in the wake of a devastating nuclear attack on their hometown. Now that they’ve received a radio message from the town’s city hall, they begin a journey into the city’s center to meet up with other survivors.

Luke and Jack have barely begun their journey when they are attacked by a pair of oddly dressed assailants. They survive the encounter, but Jack ends up injured. They are rescued by the mysterious Maestro Domenico, the ringleader of the circus at the nearby amusement park, Jabot World. The Maestro convinces the boys to take shelter in Jabot World while Jack recovers.

Luke is grateful that his boyfriend has a safe place to recuperate, and the other survivors who live in the park seem friendly. But it’s not long before the cracks begin to appear. Something isn’t quite right about Jabot World, and it’s up to Luke and Jack to figure out what’s going on before the roller coaster drops out from under them.

Park

If you like suspenseful drama in your books - then this is the book for you. The first book in the series takes place in the mall, after a nuclear blast levels everything in the surrounding area. This book picks up when Jack and Luke leave the mall after hearing a broadcast coming from City Hall. They leave mall to find more survivors and maybe reunite the groups. But along their trek to City Hall, they are attacked by clowns with guns. After narrowly escaping with their lives, they begin to navigate through the debris left from the blast. They are found by Maestro, The ring leader from the circus and theme park. Under the guise of being friendly Maestro takes them back to the theme park, where they soon find out more horrors await them. Super intense read, and I highly recommend both this book and Mall, because they take you on a very intense, scary, action packed adventure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
