Ripple Effect: Change Your Weight, Change Your World

Rate this book
If you think it's too late to get in shape and lose weight, you will be surprised and inspired by author Lee Silber, who waited until age 45 to finally make changes that ultimately saved his life. When he stepped on the scale and it read 250 pounds, he thought, "That's a good weight for an NFL linebacker—but not a 40-something, five-foot-something writer." He never imagined he would, not many months later, weigh 165 pounds and be in the best shape of his life. You'll discover that it's something you can do, and Silber will share exactly how to do it and why. It turns out that when you change your weight, you change your world . . . for the better. • If you are anything like the author and (have almost) lost hope of ever losing weight, read this book for the ideas and inspiration on how he lost 85 pounds in less than a year.• If you are busy and don't have time to devote to an intensive training program and prefer a more manageable approach to getting in shape, this is for you.• You'll be able to read this book in one sitting and get started right away so there will be no excuse . . . you can just do it."The Ripple Effect" is a guide to what we all know we need to do—eat right and get moving—but don't know how to start. It starts with this book, in which Silber explains how he finally found the way to an ideal weight, using the simple and easy methods he'll share with you.

I am a huge fan of the library and can clearly remember making the short walk to get books during the summer months. Does that make me a nerd? Clearly, but who cares. My love of books (at a young age) led me to become an author (at an older age). In 2020 I reached a major milestone, 25 books written and published.
