Enlightenment: To Light Within Beyond all Pain and Suffering

Rate this book
Find the answer to all of your questions about pain, suffering and the existence of evil; you will also find the solution!* There appears to be widespread suffering throughout the human and animal populations, not to mention destruction of the natural environment of Planet Earth. How could anyone make any sense of that?* Is there any such thing as moral justice in the face of this widespread pain, suffering, and environmental destruction?* Have you pondered the meaning of The Book of Job?* Does God exist?* Can God and evil co-exist?* How can you and everyone else go beyond ALL pain and suffering and be immune to the existence of evil in the world?* What is death? * What is immortality?* Can all of the world’s great religious and spiritual traditions, e.g., Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, and Tantrism, etc., be unified by a single guiding principle? * Is there a single, simple, elegant, and permanent solution to every imaginable problem vexing to human existence? This is not a self help book. It is not a book to make you feel good about yourself, although that may happen. Rather, it offers a real and immediate solution to the most serious problems facing you, all of mankind and planet earth.Don’t read this book unless you understand that reading it may change your life; and if it changes your life it will also surely change the world. Reading this book can result in your being infused with hopefulness. It may result in a strengthening of your existing faith, re-awakening of your lost faith, or an igniting of faith that you never had before. This is a short book, but in spite of that it is not a quick or easy read for several reasons. First, your intellect, imagination, perception, beliefs and assumptions will all be challenged to the core. Second, some of the terminology will be new and strange upon first impression. You may even need to consult a dictionary (e.g., theodicy, omnipotence, omniscience, ineffable, ex nihilo, Mahamudra). Third, in reading this book the reader is challenged to do at least as much of the work as the author! You may be more used to speed reading for a few quick ideas that are of interest to you, rather than going slowly and pondering individual words and sentences for the deeper meaning of a larger paradigm. There is no sugar coating and no attempt to reduce everything to a facile simplicity. You will be challenged to look inside yourself for the truth of what is there, and you will like what you find. It is suggested that you read this manuscript from start to finish, perhaps several times. Slow down, read carefully, think about what you have read, make up your own mind. Your investment of time and effort will be amply rewarded. Enter these pages with an open heart and an open mind. Resist your temptation to judge too quickly the value of what you are reading. Let these ideas drop into your deeper consciousness and wait for what floats back to the surface for you to appreciate in a blinding “ah-ha! Epiphany” of understanding. The insights presented here are the direct result of a personal experience of enlightenment. They occurred to the author in a blinding flash of spiritual clarity, arriving as a gestalt instantaneously, fully formed, perfectly understood, without ambiguity of any kind in a moment of illumination. In this awakening there was a lifting of the veil of the illusion of separation, revealing a unity of consciousness in which everything was one thing and that one thing was pure consciousness without any separation at all; meaning that I am and you are that one thing, as is everyone else and everything else.
