A short play script about a young man who has been down on his luck for a long time who returns home to deliver a message of regret and forgiveness to his estranged parents. His visit is met with mixed emotions as memories of his childhood and those of his father are dredged. The reason for his visit becomes apparent on the arrival of the police. Will make a 10 minute play but can be made longer.
Stuart Young is the author of Spare Parts, Shards of Dreams and The Mask Behind the Face. His stories have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies including Darkness Rising, Midnight Street, We Fade to Grey and The Mammoth Book of Future Cops.
