Special Agent Sean Murphy is tired. After nearly 1500 years of violence and death, he simply wants to resign from the Agency and return to traveling the world. His daughter, Abigail, is all for that. But on Sean’s last day of work before officially retiring, he is given a “too-good-to-resist” job offer by the Board of Directors: a one year extension on his contract, along with a huge promotion. After careful but quick consideration, and over Abigail’s very heated protests, he accepts.
Shortly thereafter, he is forced into an assignment: head up a team and move to the West Coast to investigate reports of mysterious deaths in Oregon. When the assigned “team” is made up of primarily young agents with no field experience, Sean believes the assignment is nothing more than a babysitting job designed to remove him from headquarters. Despite his strong misgiving, his instincts tell him to accept the assignment and make the best of it, providing excellent training for young agents.
Storyline is about a special agent named Sean Murphy, a story of survival. After Sean passes years and years of violence and death, all he wants is to quit the agency he works for and return to traveling the world. Character Abigail, his daughter loves the idea. On his last day of work before officially quitting, he is given an enticing job offer. Sean accepts the offer along with a big promotion against his daughters wishes not to accept it, but he did anyway. Once on the job, Sean is forced right away into an assignment. He then ensembles the team given to him and moves to the west coast to investigate reports of mysterious deaths in Oregon. Unfortunately for Sean, his team consist of agents with no back up experience which makes things more complicated. Lets just say he ends up regretting it towards the end. This book is a self published book, there are corrections needed in some areas including misspellings, grammars and some sentences need be pulled closer together since there is spacing between them in some areas. This book would surely benefit from a good editor to make it more fluent. Storyline is not that bad though.
