This booke is an excellent read and will serve as a good reference work for whenever I am planning a training og workshop. Besides the many practical exercises, the book, just like “Training From The Back of the Room”, teaches the concepts by applying concepts from the book itself.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting to improve their teaching, training or any form of knowledge transfer!

An eye opener for really teaching

I really appreciated the method the author used to introduce a great amount of concepts for teaching. The accent was on dialog and participation in many forms. I have incorporated so!e of the ideas in my presentation. Appears to have a positive effect.

This book had some many good tips. I was instantly able to adapt a training I had to provide and received great praise. It's always important as trainers to keep our skills sharped. More than anyone, we all know that there is always something new to learn. Hope the author continues providing more tips.

I really like this book and I wish that I have read it before reading the latest book for Sharon Bowman Training from the Back of the Room!: 65 Ways to Step Aside and Let Them Learn. This book is amazing and answers a lot of questions that I have while reading Training from the Back of the Room. This book is highly recommended for anyone who decided to work as a professional trainer.

Really good as far as training idea books go. More to it than the usual endless list of variations of variations of training ideas. The author does address some of the theories behind her ideas, most of which are widely accepted adult learning theories, but she makes them personal. I implemented two of the ideas in a training class I taught the next day -- one went over very well by making a big impact in a short amount of time, and the second was received more coolly. Could have been that I implemented it too late in the class, could have been that particular group didn't connect with it.

I can see using the book as a resource when designing and enhancing training in the future.
