👑Kim Evingstone este o tânără care toată viața ei a luptat pentru tot ceea ce și-a dorit și toată viața ei a considerat ca ea nu merită prea mult ca și persoană, iar acum după ce își va obține diploma de studii va pleca la New York pentru a da o probă la prestigioasa școală de balet de acolo. Dar totul se schimbă când la nunta celei mai bune prietene a ei, Charlotte, îl cunoaște pe fermecătorul Leo Kincaid.
👑Leo este un bărbat dur, un bărbat care nu are timp de sentimente, care nu iubește și care care consideră că nu merită iubire, mai ales după evenimentele din primul volum, în care și-a pus familia în pericol. Întâlnirea cu Kim schimbă ceva în el și hotărăște că o vrea și că va face orice pentru a o avea pe frumoasa Kim.
👑Kim încerca să reziste farmecului lui Leo, dar pentru prima dată în viața ei vrea să facă ceva pentru ea, vrea să simtă ca merită sa fie apreciată, adorată și iubită, chiar dacă numai pentru o noapte, așa ca ea va cădea în mrejele lui Leo. După noaptea de pomină cei doi o iau pe drumuri separate, dar soarta are alte planuri cu ei astfel după numai o lună Kim, care este în căutarea unui loc de muncă bănos, dă o probă de dans pentru clubul al cărui manager este Leo (aici Leo a avut parte de puțin ajutor, de la cine o să descoperiți voi).
👑De aici totul ia o altă turnură pentru ambii: Leo nu poate sta departe de Kim și vrea să-i ofere chiar și luna de pe cer, dacă s-ar putea, iar Kim încerca să stea departe de fermecătorul Leo și să izbutească singură, dar se întâmplă ca ceva neașteptat să o lege definitiv de acesta. Bineînțeles ca vor apărea și dușmanii familiei Kincaid, care vor încerca să ajungă la Leo prin intermediul lui Kim, iar acest fapt va scoate fiara din cușcq în care era închisă, Leo fiind gata să dezlănțuie iadul în Las Vegas pentru a o știi pe Kim în siguranță.

Kim este o femeie care a avut parte de multă suferință și care mereu a considerat ca nu merită să fie iubită și apreciată, dar în momentul în care în viața ei intră Leo Kincaid acest lucru se schimbă, el fiind exact ceea ce îi lipsea ei, iar Leo va avea mult de furcă până când acesta îl va lăsa să îi ofere totul. Leo, la rândul lui, este un suflet chinuit, care datorită traumelor trecutului, și-a pierdut bucuria de a iubi și de a fi iubit, a încercat să facă rău celor pe care îi iubește prin acțiuni care i-au pus în pericol, și-a șicanat frații și a căutat să-i îndepărteze de el, dar când a realizat că a rănit o persoană inocentă începe să redevină cel dinainte, începe să repare ceea ce a stricat, începe să își ia în serios rolul în famila Kincaid, iar în momentul în care Kim intră în viața lui, zidul care îi ținea inima captivă începe să se dărâme. Kim is standing on the balcony looking at the Colorado mountains still amazed at the extravagance surrounding her. Her best friend Charlotte is marrying Mason Kincaid and heads an empire worth billions. One night at this resort was more than her monthly rent. If Mason hadn't taken care of the arrangements she wouldn't have been able to attend.
If it wasn't for the fact that you can see Mason's adoration for his bride Kim would be terrified for her best friend. All five of the Kincaid men ooze power and danger. Especially Mason's brother Leo.
When he corners her at the reception she decides to take him up on his offer of promised Os. She is leaving in the morning for an audition at the New York Ballet and if all works out she won't be returning to Vegas and will never see him again.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This book has its own HEA but I highly recommend that you start this series from the beginning. These characters are recurring with a continuing storyline, but to truly understand the growth Leo has gone through you have to see him at his most dangerous in his brother Mason's story.
This book is action-packed, full of danger and suspense and hot! So smoking hot. Leo doesn't leave a positive impression in book one... to say he didn't handle the murder of his dad and his brother Mason taking over the family business well is an understatement. He was a violent threat waiting to explode. He truly redeemed himself in this book and did a total 180.
If you like dark romance you will love this series! Can't wait for Jake's story! Highly recommend!

The second book in the series & pretty much starts where the first book ended. Kim is Charlotte’s best friend & although she is studying at LV & barely managing to survive on what she earns. Mason pays for Kim to travel to Colorado for Charlotte’s wedding. There she meets Mason’s brother Leo & they have a one night stand before she flies to New York for an audition with a ballet company. Everything falls apart for Kim when her return flight is delayed & so she applies for a job as a cage dancer at Temptation, one of the hottest clubs on the Strip. But Temptation is Leo’s club which makes him my new boss. Then to cap it all Kim finds out that she’s pregnant.
Fast pace, steamy, sizzling chemistry & wonderful characters made for a book which I found very hard to put down. I loved both Leo & Kim, they both had their insecurities but brought out the best in each other. Whilst it could be read on its own to fully appreciate it I’d recommend reading in order. An engrossing read which I highly recommend

"King of Temptation" by Tammy Andresen is the first book I have read by this author, and I am blown away! Leo Kincaid is the kind of ruthless, arrogant, and dangerously handsome billionaire you can't help but be drawn to, even when you know it's trouble. The chemistry between Leo and Kim is off the charts, making for an intense, fiery romance that had me hooked from the start.
The banter, the spice, and the action were all on point. The plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat, especially as the heroine's life spirals out of control. The stakes are high, the emotions are raw, and the dark side of Las Vegas adds an extra layer of intrigue. Tammy Andresen does a fantastic job of blending passion, danger, and unexpected turns.
If this is what her writing holds, I am going to go back and start my binge-read of all of Tammy's work now!! 📚📚

4.5 🌟 I love a morally gray, possessive, and bossy MMC. Leo was a bossy, protective, and possessive alpha. I have to say I loved watching his soft side come out. Leo is hard, troubled, and has a plan to seek revenge. After hooking up with Kim at his brother’s wedding he can’t stop thinking about her. His rough edges and tendency to go full-speed ahead regardless of the consequences have him manipulating her life so she sticks around. These are magnetic together, they had some of the best banter. Kim is headstrong and determined to make it as a ballet dancer and she won’t let Leo hold her back. This is a surprise pregnancy book, but I liked the way finding out she was pregnant doesn’t change the path they were already on, it only speeds things up.
I was instantly sucked into this one and found myself not wanting to put it down. The pacing was fast, it was easy to read and the characters were easily some of my favorites. The dose of mafia, insta-love, and OTT possessive alpha tendencies grabbed hold and didn’t let go.
This is an interconnected standalone and the second book in a series. I didn’t read the first book and read this one without feeling like I was missing anything. I do think Leo’s history (and troubles) were addressed in the first book but it all came together in this one. Now that Kim and Leo found their HEA I’m left curious about his uncle and looking forward to the next book.

I don’t wanna play favorite so early into this series but i definitely think I just found my favorite brother! Leo was a top tier! I was so happy to be back is this Las Vegas world and get parts of Mason and Charlotte again. Leo is the powerful criminal grump of the family but trying to get back on track and be better. Leo will completely change for Kim. She will be in control which is something Leo is not use too! But the Scary Grump is the biggest softest teddy bear for his baby. I seriously enjoyed Kim and Leo’s relationship, the banter, the spice, the scary moments and all the emotions they made me feel!
I already can’t wait for book 3!!

I devoured this book in one night! I love Mason, I do, but Leo? Leo is something else entirely 😍. Both he and Kim feel so unloved and worthless, and yet when they love, they love hard! and show you that you are worth everything. Book one was a 4 star read, but if I could give this more than 5, I absolutely would. I can't wait to read book 3!

I liked this!! It's Leo & Kim's story & it was a great one! They had 1 night together, with an unexpected consequence. Leo does something that brings her back to him & they almost pick up where they left off. A lot of thongs are happening here, & I loved it! The spice was fantastic & I can't wait to read more!

The second story in the Lords of Las Vegas, another very good story in the series. Leo Kincaid meets Kim at his brother's wedding. I enjoyed reading this well written story and will be waiting to read the next book. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A well written steamy romance with insta-lust, so there are a lot of steamy scenes. It's sort of mafia, but the hero and his brothers are business men that are a bit shady. 3.5 stars

Tammy Andresen’s books have always been a favorite of mine, and this new series is fantastic as well! I loved reading Leo’s story, since he was so pivotal in the first book. Leo and Kim are fire together and so in sync from the start! Great story!! Anxious for the next book!!

I absolutely love this series and the Kincaid men!
This one is about Leo & Kim, whom we met in the first book. The Kincaid family rules Las Vegas and he’s the family’s enforcer. Kim is a ballet dancer and college student. They have a one night stand at Charlotte & Mason’s wedding. Things don’t right for Kim and she’s forced to work as a cage dancer in Leo’s club in order to afford rent and school. Stuck in Vegas, these two are just magnets towards each other. He is rough around the edges but soft towards her. I love the mafia action going on too. This was really good and I couldn’t put it down. I also love a surprise pregnancy trope. These two were perfect for each other.

King Of Temptation is the second book in the Lords of Las Vegas while you can read this as a standalone I highly recommend reading King of Sinners for a better character understanding.
I was dying for Leo's story since meeting him in King of Sinner and all the messed up shit he has done. I was so not disappointed the growth on Leo was off the charts! He went from a complete mess, totally dick and did a complete 360. Kim was the perfect match to make this cold man into the most caring selfless guy.
Who would have thought a one night stand could lead to so much more.

King of Temptation(Lord's of Las Vegas #2) by Tammy Andresen. Kim has been studying ballet and has dreams of joining the company at the New York ballet. Her audition is the next day after Charlotte and Mason's wedding. Mason and Charlotte were the main characters of book 1: King of Sinners. The story is well worth the read. Book 1 is not necessary in order to read this book because I feel this book can be read as a stand-alone. However, you will get background on the characters in book 1, and like I said, it was a really good read. The day of the wedding, Kim, of course she runs into Leo, who is not only Mason's brother but Charlotte's ex. Somehow, Kim finds herself on Leo's radar, and his mission is to get her into his bed. Initially, Kim is reluctant to take him on. She has big plans and doesn't want anything to derail her goals. However, Leo is all kinds of yummy, and a one night stand would not hurt. Giving in to her urges results in the start of several events that now find her back in Las Vegas with an uncertain future. Having to make things happen and happen quickly, she finds herself auditioning to be a cage dancer at a club. What she ends up finding out it is Leo's club. She really doesn't want to do it, but Leo makes it worth her wild. Leo is really taken by Kim. He wants more of her, and he is willing to go to any lengths to get her. This was a really good story, and the sexual tension between the two of them was hot enough to burn down Las Vegas. I don't want to give away too much of what happens in this story because I want you to enjoy the journey. We do learn more about Leo. Who he is, why he is, and what he is most afraid of. I couldn't help but fall for him. He definitely redeemed himself from book 1. Just know there is, of course, some sex, hot sex. Some intrigue and a little deception. This is a really good series, and I am so looking forward to the next book. Jake is a real piece of work. He is a lifelong player and has no intention of being anything but one. His book should be rather interesting. Leo's story gets 5 stars from me.

It's always fun when an alphahole, commitment-phobe has his world rocked and knocked off kilter by love. Leo really didn't know what hit him when he met Kim and couldn't stop thinking about her, after she left and never called. And even when she walked into his life again, he was thinking he'd just keep her around for fun, when in reality, he was already falling in love. I wasn't sure what to think of Leo in his brother's story, but in his own story, he's grown so much and has become the man Kim deserves. Their connection is deliciously hot, and by the end it was even stronger when they were free to be in love.

I think if I don’t think too hard about why Leo was so awful in book 1, I can really appreciate his change in this book. So I’m going to go with 2.5 stars rounded down to 2.
Leo, the second eldest of the Kincaid boys (not counting their uncle, Jake), has a lot of baggage, which you find out about in this book () and that’s why he has anger problems coupled with drinking issues. But he’s changing a ton, mostly due to meeting Kim.
Kim is Charlotte’s bff (though idk how close they really are since their friendship seems more like a convenient point to bring up when needed), and she wants to be a ballet dancer, or does she…? Kim has baggage too. Her single mom raised her alone, sacrificing her own professional ballet dancer dreams. Kim’s father wanted zero to do with them, and so Kim grew up learning the worst thing she could do is fall for a man who would ruin her life. Kim’s one and only ex-boyfriend experience was crap, as he was just manipulative and apparently terrible in bed. But also left Kim with baggage believing she’s not special.
What a pair these two make, right?
Anyway on the night of Charlotte and Mason’s wedding, Leo and Kim hook up, and this author never has much of a protection/birth control conversation written into any of the books I’ve read so far, so I just figured whatever 🙄 in this fantasy world all the hot men are billionaires and fall in love fast and would do anything for their woman, so why do they need to think about STDs or pregnancy…and then a month or so later, Kim is especially tired all the time. And I was like, oh! Is this going to be an accidental pregnancy story? And then Kim gets emotional and teary easily, and starts eating a lot. And by this point you’re just waiting for when dimwitted Kim is going to realize what’s happening. Of course, the whole ballerina not getting a regular period is the excuse (which I’m sure we all expected), but honestly, how do two “adults” not think about birth control? One is a billionaire and the other’s worst fear is “being like her mom and getting pregnant.” But anyway, when Kim finally realizes it, only because Leo throws out a “we need to think about birth control” comment after dumping a whole bunch of semen into Kim again🙄 Leo’s reaction is the worst!
He does very quickly turn his asshole-setting off and turns on “sweet Leo” again though, so it was rather anticlimactic even if Kim ran away to her own mom for a quick priority/life check.
So the whole book wraps up with Leo just being a new man. They’re getting married and having a baby. It was quite sweet, I suppose, but that’s if you ignore some of the other things that occurred in this story. I guess it doesn’t matter that much. Though one thing I did ponder at one point in this book is what happened to the Kincaid sister? She was mentioned at the end of Mason’s book, being a bridesmaid at the wedding. And then that same chapter is included in this book as part of Chapter 1. But she is never mentioned again. Odd that. But this author isn’t the best at the details so I guess we’ll see the sister again when the author remembers she even wrote about one in the first place.

Book Review – King of Temptation by Tammy Andresen
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5 stars)
Okay, so I went into this book fully expecting some spice and a little Vegas drama, but what I got was an emotional, fast-paced, messy-in-a-good-way rollercoaster that I straight-up could not put down. Seriously. I started reading and next thing I knew, I was three chapters deep and fully obsessed with Leo and Kim.
Let’s start with the basics:
King of Temptation is book two in Tammy Andresen’s Kings of Las Vegas series, and it picks up right after the events of book one (King of Sinners). That said you could totally read this one on its own. But if you’re a sucker for deeper context and love a good cameo, reading the first book will definitely hit different.
Now… Leo.
Yeah, I love a good morally gray man with a vengeance plan and a God complex. Leo Kincaid is intense, bossy, lowkey manipulative, and over-the-top possessive but also, kind of a marshmallow when it comes to the people he loves. His energy screams I hate everyone except her, and let’s be real… we eat that up every time.
He’s not perfect. He definitely oversteps, tries to control too much, and doesn’t always communicate like a normal human being. But the man is trying. He’s fiercely protective, a little broken, and watching his softer side peek out when it comes to Kim (and eventually the baby)? Whew. Heart = puddle.
Kim, on the other hand, is exactly the kind of heroine I root for. She’s got dreams (ballerina, hello!), zero tolerance for BS, and the kind of fire that doesn’t dim even when life throws everything at her. Her arc is really about survival and self-worth. She’s fighting for her career, for her future, and even when Leo steps in, she doesn’t just fold. She holds her ground. Loved that for her.
The chemistry between these two? Off the charts.
We’re talking banter, tension, spice, and a deep emotional current under it all. Their dynamic is hot, messy, a little bit toxic at times (in a way that works for the genre), and yet oddly wholesome by the end. It’s like mafia-lite meets accidental family romance and somehow it just works.
Also, this is a surprise pregnancy story but hear me out. It’s not cheesy. It doesn’t magically solve their problems or change who they are. If anything, it forces both of them to grow up fast. I appreciated that the pregnancy didn’t fix anything it just sped up what was already coming.
The pacing? Fast. Like, blink and it’s been 50 pages. No dragging, no fluff. The Vegas vibes are rich, the side characters are fun, and the little mafia twists keep the stakes interesting without taking over the romance.
Final Thoughts:
If you’re into possessive alpha MMCs, headstrong heroines, messy but magnetic relationships, and steamy Vegas drama with a touch of mafia flair this one’s for you. Leo and Kim’s story gave me tension, heart, and just enough angst to keep things interesting.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely.

This book and I'm now an instant fan of Tammy that's for sure. Ahh.... Leo and Kim together and their ride has completely melted me with how they start versus how we see them later on.
Kim is a good girl and you can see that she's not pretense but actually it is very important for her to maintain boundaries and definitely remembers what her mother has inculcated in her mind, about casual encounters that result in a surprise.
Leo is super Intense and he might be the sort of black sheep of the Kincaid family but he needs his revenge and he's clear on that.
Kim and Leo have the hottest one nighter together and even though Leo doesn't do commitment, yet he's unable to get Kim out of his mind.
Kim might be struggling but she's a hard worker who's clear on where she wants to go. Getting her degree and auditioning for the Ballet stint in New York, she's a woman who wants to accomplish her mother's dreams.
It was so interesting to see how events change their course and make Kim land into Leo's path all over again.
But what shocked me is how much Leo had become crazy for Kim.
I MEAN I WAS HERE FOR ALL THAT HOT INTENSITY AND PASSION AND ATTENTION FROM LEO KINCAID.
There's just something about a man who goes after a woman when he knows he wants no one else but her.
Even though Leo is not ready to name their relationship yet it's so clear what Kim had started to mean to him.
I was here and obsessed over the way Leo goes about making Kim his.
It's done oh so perfectly that I was wishing to be Kim and Leo giving me all his attention.
Ahh ... I wouldn't mind having that man all to myself especially with the way he goes soft and caring only for Kim and then is a beast in the bedroom.🔥🌶️
I was glued to the pages and seriously sighing at times and yearning for Leo to be mine.
There are also other things happening on the side as the kincaids plan their revenge on the Italians and now Leo has to replan those same things because it's more than just revenge now that he has his own sweet family.
Kim, I felt was such an amazing girl and I admired her and respected her especially the way she would face Leo and not take sh!t from him.
She grounded Leo in a way that they both didn't realise but was needed.
I'm over the top excited for the next books in this series. Till then I'll catch up with Mason and Charlotte's book.

I’m shocked that I enjoyed this. It took a bit to get going though, and there’s still so many details missing.
I read these books out of order as after I read Mason and Charlotte’s book I couldn’t face reading Leo’s. As he came across as horrible and almost violent at times. Yet in this one he’s so different that he’s changed personality almost completely. He’s still a d*ck at times, but with Kim he’s almost a really good guy.
Kim is Charlotte’s best friend, (Supposedly) and when Charlotte is getting married to Mason, Kim meets his brothers including Leo and they are instantly attracted to each other. After an amazing night of hot s*x Kim flies to New York for an audition a ballet company. When she doesn’t get it then her flight is delayed and she misses her final exam, she’s left struggling financially. This for me is where it starts to go wrong. What did Kim do for money before her audition? If she had a job why can’t she just go back to it? Why could she afford ballet lessons before but not now? Leo when he finds out Kim is struggling offers her a job a cage dancer in his nightclub. Of course they are soon having s*x again and falling in love, until Kim realises that she’s pregnant.
All of a sudden Leo turns into horrid Leo and accuses her of trapping him. I can’t believe the author wrote this! THEY HAD S*X WITHOUT ANY PROTECTION AND THEY’RE BOTH REALLY SHOCKED THAT SHE’S PREGNANT! 👋 Doh!!! Are they both stupid??? For some bizarre reason Kim forgives him, I wouldn’t. He was vile to her.
While I enjoyed this book surprisingly there’s a whole load of mistakes and things missing;

🔵 Neither of them thought of sexual health.
🔵 Luke says he’s Leo’s best friend. Since when? Roman and Luke are best friends as they’re closer in age, not Leo.
🔵 Yet another woman who doesn’t know what she wants to do and just plods along with a career she really doesn’t want.
🔵 Kim’s ex is never explained. He has a connection to the enemy Italian family and it’s never mentioned or explained.
🔵 No mention of Arabella in this book at all! It’s the same in all of them. It’s like they don’t have a sister!

Folks …Tammy did not come to play with us tuhday. I am love…love…LOVING her Lords of Vegas series. And her latest, King of Temptation is pure literary gold baby!! When I tell you, Leo can get it? I mean…he could get it every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Leo Kincaid is not at all perfect. He's arrogant, dark, volatile, used to doing and getting what he wants and to hell with the fallout. His temper is legendary. His actions ruthless. But, for some strange reason I love him…despite all the shady shyt he does..he's THAT dude.
And Kim, well she's the complete opposite. She’s a struggling dancer who waits tables. Sweet, innocent, hard-working, driven and most definitely deserving of a really good man…and upon meeting Leo Kincaid, she knows he is not him (or so she thinks). During her best friend's wedding to Leo's Brother, he offers her a wild night of passion, a night that turns her life upside down, shattering her dreams of becoming a ballet dancer. Desperate for cash, she takes a job at Temptation, the hottest club in Vegas, only to find herself under Leo’s control again.
When I tell you this book is ridiculously good…I mean it. I've read it three times and I'm fairly certain my husband is tired of me talking about Leo. There's a scene folks that absolutely crushed my soul. Talk about straight bawling. I was ready to throw down for my man👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾 …
Phew…y'all King of Temptation is a must read. I'm about ready to pack it up and head to Vegas. If you can't make the trip, at least buy the book and mentally go with me

Folks …Tammy did not come to play with us tuhday. I am love…love…LOVING her Lords of Vegas series. And her latest, King of Temptation is pure literary gold baby!! When I tell you, Leo can get it? I mean…he could get it every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Leo Kincaid is not at all perfect. He's arrogant, dark, volatile, used to doing and getting what he wants and to hell with the fallout. His temper is legendary. His actions ruthless. But, for some strange reason I love him…despite all the shady shyt he does..he's THAT dude.
And Kim, well she's the complete opposite. She’s a struggling dancer who waits tables. Sweet, innocent, hard-working, driven and most definitely deserving of a really good man…and upon meeting Leo Kincaid, she knows he is not him (or so she thinks). During her best friend's wedding to Leo's Brother, he offers her a wild night of passion, a night that turns her life upside down, shattering her dreams of becoming a ballet dancer. Desperate for cash, she takes a job at Temptation, the hottest club in Vegas, only to find herself under Leo’s control again.
When I tell you this book is ridiculously good…I mean it. I've read it three times and I'm fairly certain my husband is tired of me talking about Leo. There's a scene folks that absolutely crushed my soul. Talk about straight bawling. I was ready to throw down for my man👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾 …
Phew…y'all King of Temptation is a must read. I'm about ready to pack it up and head to Vegas. If you can't make the trip, at least buy the book and mentally go with me

A relatively quick and easy read for King of Temptation, the second book in the Lords of Las Vegas as wannabe ballet dancer Kim has, what for her was meant to be a one-night fling with Leo Kincaid, a man whose family runs the Las Vegas club scene and is connected to organised crime. That should’ve been it. She was leaving the next day to audition for the New York ballet. She hadn’t counted on Leo not being finished with her.
First of all, the opening lines of the blurb is a bit misleading –
A cruel baby daddy billionaire boss.
A desperate college co-ed who has run out of options.
Those two sentences gave me the impression that this was going to be a dark romance, and that the heroine was being coerced into a relationship with the hero and perhaps in a way she was, especially after the lengths Leo had gone to by torpedoing her dreams to keep her in Las Vegas but cruel! Leo was morally grey, but I never thought cruel or sensed any dangerous vibes and instead of a villainous antihero he was more of a rottweiler/retriever cross – all bark and no bite. He literally bent over backwards to help Kim out with a well-paying job and one where she could keep her clothes on at that not forgetting a safe place to stay…... alright he stayed there as well but if that’s a cruel boss, where do I apply for a job? OK so I’ve got two left feet and can’t dance so that might disqualify me from dancing in a club!
For me Leo acted a bit like a spoilt child in wanting to keep his new toy aka Kim nice and close but was New York really her dream or her mothers? Despite this I did enjoy the dynamics of their relationship. They were well matched with Kim matching him quip for quip and with plenty of chemistry between them there were lots of fun smexy times and I did enjoy the underlying plot of the Kincaid family’s quest for revenge.

This story hooks you from the first page and keeps you captivated. It’s filled with intrigue, suspense, revenge, and a fair share of spicy moments.
Leo Kincaid, who rules Las Vegas with his family, has a fiery and morally gray personality. In the previous book, he made some poor choices, and now he’s trying to make amends. Initially cocky and uncaring, Leo wasn’t likable, but his journey is compelling.
At his brother Mason's wedding, Leo has a one-night stand with Kim, Charlotte’s best friend, or so she thinks. When circumstances bring them together again in Vegas, sparks fly. Kim, an aspiring ballerina, faces setbacks in New York and ends up working for Leo, deepening their relationship. Though she’s not one to casually date, Leo’s protective nature draws her in.
Despite disliking Leo before, I’ve completely changed my opinion. He’s now a complex character—sexy, caring, and protective, with unorthodox methods that ultimately show his concern for Kim.
Their one-night stand evolves into much more, especially when Kim becomes pregnant. The road isn’t easy, with constant obstacles, but Leo’s growth from someone avoiding commitment at all costs to a man in love is actually quite amusing and had me smiling a time or two.
Tammy Andresen excels at making us understand the characters backstories and why they are the people they are. I loved how Leo and Kim grew individually to be better together. Her writing in this series is powerful, blending danger and drama with passionate, edgy characters, her men are powerful and sexy, and her ladies are strong and sweet. I’m loving this series and eagerly anticipate the next book.

Wowser, this was another spicy cocktail of romance and intrigue in the author's Lords of Vegas series. This time, we follow the sizzling escapades of Leo Kincaid, the brooding nightclub owner with a heart of gold (buried somewhere under all that muscle), and Kim, with dreams of becoming a famous ballerina; but for now, she is a feisty dancer with dreams as big as her hair on a humid day.
The plot kicks off with Kim attending her best friend’s wedding in Colorado, where she meets Leo (the groom's brother), a man so dangerously handsome he should come with a warning label. One thing leads to another, and before you can say “Vegas, baby,” Kim finds herself in a whirlwind romance that includes a surprise pregnancy and a job offer she can’t refuse. Turns out, her new boss at the nightclub Temptation is none other than Leo himself. Awkward much? The author masterfully blends humor and heat, with plenty of twists to keep you guessing. Oh, we knew that Leo was a looker, but who would of thought he could talk Kim (Charlotte’s Maid Of Honor) into a one night stand!
There is so much chemistry between these two it is explosive and Leo is bound and determined to spend more time with Kim…but how to make sure she would stay once she graduated UNLV.
Leo is trying hard to become the person he use to be, but the trama that he had to deal with when his father was killed changed who he was….now though with Kim in his life he has promised her that he will protect her, always and he is making plans to make sure the Kincaid family will always be there for her. He isn’t sure he will always be there, so maybe plans to go after the Italians need to be rethought.
Author Tammy Andresen is slaying these mafia stories! I love them…I love the men who are alpha protectors and will do anything to keep their lady loves safe.
We get to see more of The Dukes, the group that has come from Britian, hoping to move in on some of the Vegas turf. The Dukes and the Kincaids have come to an agreement and that tells me, “Uncle” Jake’s story will bring more interaction with the Dukes.
This read flew by, the action at Leo’s club Tempation along with the push and pull and heat between Leo and Kim adds spice and a secret to the story line.
This author continues to give me five star reads….and I can’t wait for Jake’s story. This move to the world of the mafia is working really well for Andresen’s readers.

WOW! I completely devoured this book in one sitting!!
🩰 Leo isn’t known for having a soft side but when it comes to Kim he’ll do anything to keep her. 🩰
I loved everything about this story!
It started off strong and maintained the same level of quality throughout.
I loved the fast burn right out of the gate. It was definitely insta-lust which totally worked for me in this story.
The spicy scenes were expertly crafted and paced beautifully throughout the book so it never felt over or underwhelming.
Leo and Kim were both easily relatable characters.
I could really feel where Kim was coming from in many of the scenes and felt bonded with her by the end.
Leo was definitely morally grey book boyfriend material! I really liked his character arc overall and that second epilogue was the sweetest.
There is a surprise pregnancy in this one but it played out in a way that I enjoyed. It really didn’t factor in for most of the book which I think was a good thing.
Furthermore, the background plot was interesting and kept me hooked into the story.
I’m really curious where everything is going to lead in future books!
