Having demanded that they go on a shopping trip, James White one of the carer’s at the care home decides to stay an extra couple of days before leaving off on his holidays to help. But what no one realises is, just how far the residents will go to win the competition!

And they're off!

Awesome. A short read but highly entertaining. A senior's home is thrown into chaos when a door decorating competition is announced. All of them are vying for the best door. However one isn't. Aggie has just come back from hospital and no-one has told her. Not even her carer, who has his mind on his girlfriend and the forthcoming Christmas break. However he can't get away as the seniors all want to buy more items. Getting them to the garden centre is a nightmare and once there they rush off like a stampede. Now the competition is getting serious and on the morning of the judging all eyes are on the judge. Who will win?

Festive silliness!

A fun quick read which hilariously gives the reader a glimpse of retirement living. Wanted more story to feast on.
