Given Family is a collection of biographical stories of adoptive families. Itis a book for anyone who has adopted, is in the process of adoption, is thinking about adoption, or is just interested in families. It is a book for anyone raising children and wondering if they are the only ones going through these challenges. Spoiler- they aren’t. Given Family shares the adoption stories of over 20 families from a variety of backgrounds and situations. It offers hope, insight, and comfort- no matter what you are going through in your adoption journey.
I wish that everyone who reads this book has the opportunity to meet Megan. Though, without knowing her, I can imagine that the readers were still able to feel her heart and sense of duty to provide each families experiences as transparent and thorough as possible. Bravo, friend.
Megan is a delight. I met her when we were both stationed in Nebraska. It’s been so fun to see her working towards her goals leading up to her 40th birthday and am so proud of her for writing this book. It was a great read.
Amazing book. I would have loved to have had this resource 10 years ago before we started our adoption journey. I highly recommend this to anyone who has adopted, considering adoption, and even family members of those who are planning to adopt. The author does a wonderful job sharing different family’s adoption journeys. Could not recommend this book more!
