******I listened to the audio version

Overall the premise of this book is really good: be positive and continue to keep a positive attitude. It’s great and something I think many of us should focus on. However, the delivery has much to be desired. Every chapter and almost every section is just step after step and a list of 5 steps here, 10 steps there. There are SO many steps, and there is no guarantee that one will achieve a positive attitude after completing said steps. Plus, there’s no data or research to show that his steps actually achieved their purpose.

Some things I do like are the references to health and the science behind a positive attitude versus a negative attitude. I think that comparison is very helpful and eye opening. I’m giving this book a 2.5 for the overall premise, but without data and solid examples it is really hard for me to recommend it to others. Also, the audiobook version is somewhat cheesy and I don’t recommend it.

Highly recommend

I’m not sure what I was expecting when I bought this book, but this book delivered results beyond my expectations! Every statement was backed up with a brief story, which made for an enjoyable read. It reminded me of a Dale Carnegie book. I’ll definitely be recommending this to my friends.

Nothing really novel our earth shattering in this book. It pretty sums up all the positivity advice you've likely heard in the past.

Excellent book

This is a easy read with a lot of powerful punches packed into it. It really makes you question how your attitude approach is on the daily basis, and tools that can help you have the attitude you want to have!

Nothing new in this and the exercises at the end of the end of the chapters are a little long
